How to get the groove back in writing

Wowwww

Seriously, it's been soooooo long since I logged into this account. And it's been way too long since I wrote fanfictions xD Goshhh things were out of my control these past months that I temporarily (yes, it's just temporary, or I hope so) left AFF and fanfics and writing. Honestly speaking, I miss it so much. Writing fanfics, dreaming, and all that and I want to and would love to come back here with a new fanfic.

However...

It's writer's block!!!!! God knows how long these fingers of mine haven't written any fanfic and He knows just how long this little brain of mine haven't worked for ideas. The juice isn't flowing anymore and I'm frustrated. I think I need to start writing short stories (like really really short stories) every day. You know, to warm up. But hey, if you guys have any idea how to get the groove back in writing, especially for lazy people like me, please..you are welcome to comment below. That will help me a lot.

p/s: I wonder if anyone here still remember me hahahah xD

There are the obvious tips of finding new music and listening to it while trying to conjure up a scene to fit the overall mood, but the best, most effective one is : keep on writing. If you have issues coming up with scenes or ideas in general, try taking on some prompts, either abstract ones or specific ones. Another tip is to keep on reading. Read read read. If you find a story, being a published one or simply a fanfiction, another great trip is try to write a fanfiction of it, or a scene that you wished would go a different way. In the end, it depends on what suits your writing the most and only you can find the answer to that.
