PERSONALITY :　Kyunghee is a very charismatic performer. She's widely recognized for her confidence and stage presence. She's confident in herself and her skills and always strives to get better. Kyunghee also tends to always look on the brighter sides of things. When in a gloomy atmosphere, she would try to brighten up the place by joking around/telling bad puns. Kyunghee is also brave and can take on anything. Swimming with sharks? No problem. Skydiving? Heck yeah. There are only a few things that she's scared of which are quite shocking. She's seen as fearless and impossible to scare. Growing up, she's always been athletic. Kyunghee loved the adrenaline she felt and loved to participate in many sports. She works out every morning and isn't afraid to get a few injuries or dirt on her while playing a sport of some kind.

Now that you've seen her good side, there's always a dark side. Despite being good in sports, she wasn't really doing well in school. She's always ranked really low in scores at her school which would result in other students looking down on her. On top of that, she's also really slow and forgetful. It might take a while for Kyunghee to process things. This frustrated her during her school days so she tended to dance her stress away. Around good looking guys, she's really awkward. She would say something that scares them off like, "So..if you were a booger, I'd pick you first". With Kyunghee's obsession with memes, it's bound to get annoying at one point. Whether she overuses them, or she's dabbing/whipping too much, she tends to get annoying. One thing you'll find out when you get closer to Kyunghee is that she's super erted and probably the most erted person you'll meet. Her mind is probably in the dark 24/7, but she won't voice her erted thoughts outloud unless D the people around her are really close to her. Lastly, she has a really short-temper. Provoke her and she'll talk back immedietely in a rude tone, which results in some kind of argument/fight. But really, she's an all bark and no bite type of person.
 

BACKGROUND :　Growing up with a strict mom and a perfect older brother was not easy. Her mom had very high expectations for Kyunghee so it disappointed her when Kyunghee turned out to be doing very badly in school. Around the time when Kyunghee was in grade school, almost going to middle school, her mom started to neglect her. It wasn't that her mother didn't love her, it was just that all her attention was on her brother, Kyung, making sure he's always studying. She was jealous of the attention her brother was receiving so she started acting rebellious to gain attention. Her father noticed this and told her studies weren't her thing, but she's bound to have another talent. He suggested trying out dancing, telling her she used to dance all the time as a toddler. When she did, she grew to love dancing taking hip hop, ballet, and breakdancing. She was never really a fan of jazz though. After that, she started taking an interest in various sports and also developed a love for skateboarding. As she entered high school, her brother graduated and her mom wasn't neglecting her anymore, but she would still pressure her to get good grades. Around when she was 16, she really looked up to the girl group GLAM and Zinni was her inspiration. She aspired to be just like them and wanted to join Bighit. Her mom was against the idea at first, wanting her to have a stable job in life like a lawyer, but her father convinced Kyunghee's mom that this was Kyunghee's dream and to give her a chance. Her mom agreed, but only if Kyunghee was able to graduate high school with good grades. So Kyunghee studied hard and went through sleepless nights to graduate, earning her parent's permission to audition. She auditioned, and got accepted, and now she's ready to show her skills to everyone

FAMILY :

▸ Mother — Song Sunmi (55) / accountant / strict, neat, stubborn  / Kyunghee and her mom aren't as close as she wish they were. Despite their many arguements, they still love each other. Kyunghee's mom won't admit it, but she's very proud of her daughter, and she'll always be there when she needs her

▸ Father  — Song Joohyuk (57) / unemployed / understanding, wise, messy / Kyunghee is really close with her dad. He's the one that introduced her to dancing and sports in the first place so without him, she wouldn't be where she is today. Despite being mute, her father always looked on the bright side of things, hence Kyunghee taking that trait after him. He's always their for his children when they need him

▸ Older Brother — Song Kyung (25) / College Student / Hard-working, introverted, awkward / Despite Kyunghee being jealous of her brother, they still got along well. He was the complete opposite of her, not good at anything physical and introverted and doesn't talk much. They both share the awkward trait though. Kyunghee doesn't know but Kyung envied her carefree personality, wishing he could be as carefree as her. They go out a lot together giving each other advice, sometimes people mistake them for a couple.

FRIENDS :

▸ close friend Smile buddies — Byun Mariko (19) / idol / quiet, funny, outgoing / Kyunghee sometimes tries to get her to be more talkative, but never goes out of her comfort zone. They weren't really close at the beginning,more awkward, but they eventually grew closer. They're very loud together and Kyunghee always makes sure to tell Mari that's she's doing a great job as a leader

▸ Best friends Like a married couple — Kim Saeron (15) / actress / calm, playful, mature / Despite the , the two get along really well. They first met when they accidentally switched jackets at a cafe while Saeron was filming a drama. They switched phones since their phones were in their pockets and agreed to meet up later on to trade jackets. Ever since then they've been inseperable and clingy to each other.

▸ Close friends Dab King and Dab Queen— Kunpimook Bhuwakul aka Bambam (19) / idol / extra, talkative, sassy / They met backstage at a got7 concert when Kyunghee got tickets. Since then, they just hit it off. They're a bad influence on each other, showing each other memes,  dabbing everywhere they go, it's honestly too much.

TRAINING PERIOD:　4 years 

TRAINEE LIFE:　Kyunghee's trainee life wasn't really anything special. Of course it was hard work, hours of dance practicing, learning new languages, and vocal lessons, but she wasn't bullied or anything. When she first started taking vocal lessons, she didn't know she had such a decent voice until then. She began working on improving her vocals. Though, she was kind of introverted at first and didn't really interact with anyone at the time, so she felt a bit lonely. But she soon made new friends. Of course there were ties where she felt like giving up, but she kept going on.  As time passed, she became known for being one of the best dancers out of all the trainees. 

PREDEBUT ACTIVITIES:

▸ Played Female lead in Got7's A MV because BamBam suggested her

SCANDALS : 

▸ Fights: Since Kyunghee easily got into fights when she was in school because of her temper, old highschool classmates spread rumors about her and people labeled her as violent and a bully, but bighit took action against the classmates threatening to take action against the false rumors. It later got cleared up and ended with an apology from her old classmates

It seems that you are finally debuting? What are your thoughts about it?

▸ I just can't believe it! I'm just so happy that my dreams are coming true! Though I can't help but worry that I'll be a drag to the team or that my personality isn't fit to be an idol, but I'll look on the positive side! I get to debut! Is this a dream? Is this real life? I'll work even harder to make everyone proud. I'll even make greater puns! But hopefully there won't be too many balloons..I hope the world's ready for my dancing because here I come!

Why did you chose to start the training in order to become an idol? ANd why did you end up in Big hit entertainment?

▸ Well when I was 16, I was really into the girl group Glam, specifically Zinni. I just really loved her dancing style and she was my role model and inspiration, so I wanted to audition for the company she was under. Some people may call me an idiot for not auditioning for the big 3, but that's ok I'm used to being called an idiot. Besides, I think Bighit is a better company than those 3 anyway. Although, I'm really disappointed Glam disbanded...

Many people has already started to compare your group with your sunbae, BTS . What do you think about them? Are you close with them? :

▸ I really admire them!!! I love their concepts, songs, dances, everything! Not to mention they're all good looking and all those hip s and bodyrolls in their choreography heheh...WAIT I'm getting off topic. I haven't really talked to them before, I kind of just freeze up when around them you know? Though one day, I hope I can choreograph and perform a dance with Jhope sunbae. But, B.Galaxy is an entirely different group with our own concept and unique style, so I wouldn't like it if we were compared.

A lot of new group has debuted recently ? Do you think your group will do well? ACCORDING TO YOU , WHAT IS B.GALAXY CHARM ? :

▸ New groups have debuted recently and I admire their hardwork, but, we'll do just as good and even better than them! We have the best leader, best songwriter, and best choreographer. Besides if we don't do well, then we just have to improve even more on our next comeback! Hmmm I think what makes B.Galaxy, B.Galaxy is the members and the bonds between everyone. Each member is unique in their own way like um...they each represent different colors. They all contribute something to the group that makes us unique. With any one of us missing, we are not the same. B.Galaxy is not B.Galaxy when there are members missing.

IS THERE A PARTICULAR ACTIVITY YOU'D LIKE TO TRY IN THE FUTURE (LIKE ACTING, MUSICALS, VARIETY, REALITY SHOWS ,ETC...)? :

▸ There's a lot of things that I'd like to do in the future! Like the idol olympics! I mean surely 10 years of playing sports everyday and working out will pay off right? I mean, not to be cocky, but I am pretty athletic and strong. I also would like to go on We got Married if I had the chance, but if another member wants to be on We got married too, I'll just let them go on the show. I'd also like to go on Dancing9 or Real men too or Law of the Jungle. Being on Running Man and Weekly Idol with all the members would be a blast too!
