+ Appearance : Theo's features aren't very "attractive" when compared to the ideal korean visual. He has the athletic looking part down, but beyond that not so much. His features all together make him more unique and interesting looking. Monolids paired with larger lips and high cheekbones make him stand out. His height is an average 177.8cm and he weighs in roughly around the 60kgs. Though during high stress times it tends to drop down no lower than 57kgs. He's not bulky, and never has been. He has a more lean build, while still able to hold some muscle tone. His friends joke that he was born with abs since they never seem to go away because of how he's built, they're just not as dramatic when he isn't working out. His legs are quite muscular and always have been, with dance and all. He walks with a very slight limp, though it becomes more obvious when the weather changes or if its especially cold, all due to a knee injury he got when he was younger.

+ Personality : When you first meet theo, he has this whole vibe of arrogance. Like his face, and just how he stands, his body language just screams arrogance. But this kid knows what he's doing, so why not be confident in it.
Theo is an incredibly smart kid, graduating from his high school with a bachalors degree from the comunity college. He knows how to get the most out of most situations. He has an incredibly cool head, good luck trying to rile him up to get a reaction out of him. Theo is good with pretty much anything. This kid has such a laid back nature bordering apathetic. On the downside, he does come off as quite cold, and he can be. He has no problems with treating you like trash if you deserve it. Most people you see in the industry have hot tempers, they flare up and then they go away for the most part. Theo, when he can be bothered by it, is icy. He holds grudges, and he will make sure you remember it for as long as it bothers him.
Once you get to know Theo, you get to see a little bit more of his dorky side. He's competitive, so don't challenge him to a game you aren't willing to lose. This kid will go all out to win. Theo enjoys letting lose and having fun. His sense of humor is more the type of making others laugh by making a fool of himself and stupid puns. He enjoys other peoples reactions more than him, so his humor adjusts to the situation. Though he draws the line at mean jokes. He wont do anything that would hurt or humilate. In fact he'll do everything to prevent it, even going as far as getting into people's faces challegning them.
Theo is a protector. He might not be the biggest or the strongest, but he will stand in your way to prevent you from doing something to hurt somebody. regardless if he likes them or knows them. Theo has his own sense of justice and rules he follows, but they usually go along the lines of "what ever keeps the peace and keeps things light" He's very much classified as "Chaotic Good" He doesn't start fights, he finishes them (most of the time before theyre started.) Being the oldest one with four younger siblings, he's use to being the mediator.
Theo is good with people, he knows how to read them and how to best deal with him. On the opposite side of that, he's an introvert. So he can only handle so much before he's tired out. It's not something he wants to do all the time, its just something he's good at and it's easier to deal with things when people are getting along.
Honestly, Theo's big thing is he just wants to be remembered. He want's his life to mean something and not be just something he tossed to the side. His life needs to be worth it, so he's going to do whatever he can to find that worth. And he sure hopes it involves dancing because that is something he loves, but he will set it aside if his meaning is elsewhere. Even if its hard, he'll do what he has to.

+ Background : Theo was a complicaated pregnacy for his mother. She was put on bedrest at 23 weeks due to spotting. (Blood pretty much) His mother suffered from constant naseua, and wasn't able to keep down a lot of food (way to be a baby Theo.) At 33 weeks, Theo's mother went into labor early, and she was by herself when she figured out it was labor. She had to call 911 and an ambulance take her to the hospital because her mother wasn't there. (She had ran to the store to get some food.) Lucky enough, her water hadn't broken yet and they were able to stop the labor. He still had a while to go before he was born, his lungs werent fully developed, that was the main concern of the doctors. They wanted to wait until the due date, but they still gave his mother some drugs to help speed up the development of his lungs and other interal organs, because if she went into labor again, it would be too dangerous for the baby to stop it again. Theo's mother, just short of 36 weeks, she went into labor, and little Theo came into the world. Though at the time he was known as baby im. His mother and father hadn't agreed on a name yet, and wanted to keep the baby's a surprise. Baby Theo started showing signs of RDS (Respritory Distress Syndrom) Not a serious case, but still worrying enough to keep him in the NICU for a week. But Theo was lucky, even being born premature he was pretty healthy, minus his slightly lower birth weight and slightly underdeveloped lungs. His parents named him after Theodore Roosevelt, main;y because his father was a historian and loved Theodore Roosevelt, and because they wanted their child to be similar to him. Since Their baby started off with medical problems, they wanted him to overcome it like Theodore Roosevelt did.
As a child, Theo was a really good kid. He was obediant and eager to please. He was all about exploring and nature. He always had to keep an inhaler near by incase his airwyas closed up. It was a precaution the doctors made sure his parents were aware of especially with how active Theo wanted to be.
When Theo was 5, his mother was prego again, except this one was a lot easier, especially since the doctors took every precation with the knowledge of how her pregnancy went with Theo. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy on her due date, and named him Nathaniel (After Nathaniel Hawthorne, Their mother's favorite author). (Their parents had an affinity for older sounding names. They also wanted to give them american names to fit in, and korean middle names so they had some parts of their culture.) With a 5 year age difference, Theo didn't really play much with Nat, and often found it a chore to hang out with him or to help take care of him.
Two years later, his mother gave birth to twins, Emmet and Estelle. At that point Theo was definitely sibling-ed out. But being much older than his siblings, gave him different experiences compared to how the others felt. They always felt like Theo was the cool older brother. He was driving way before them, he was doing different things, and would be in charge when the parents weren't home.
Theo tried not to stay at home a lot because he didn't want to be stuck with them. Theo never really felt like he was good with kids, they annoyed him and he didn't want to hurt them by being annoyed so he went off and did his own thing a lot. As he got older he would try to spend time with them but it was hard because there was such an age difference.
In middle school is when theo fell in love with dance. The class took a field trip to watch a modern rendition of the nutcracker and spent pretty much the entire day focused on performing arts. He couldn't take his eyes off the dancers. Living in the seattle area, Theo was no strangers to street performers, but his parents never stopped unless it was something unique, like the trumpet player who beatboxed by the market, or the magician by the space needle (because Estelle loves magic tricks.) So Theo was never really exposed to dance until that moment. So as soon as he got home, he had to tell his mom and dad EVERYTHING. Like he wouldn't shut up about the perfomance and the dancers and how smooth and graceful but still sharp and precise they were. After months of him not shutting up, and his mother catching him more than once checking out books and movies from the library about dance, they finally signed him up for classes. He started off in contemporary dance before branching off to hip hop just before high school. (Because hip hop is cool, and when combind with other styles it just makes a prettier picture to him. All apart of his aesthetics.
Theo and a group of his friends started recording videos in 2010 and putting them on youtube. Usually dance videos, Sometimes stupid skits. But the dance videos is what Theo would usually participate in. Often being the center, or even helping fix the Choreography if it didn't fit as well. It was in 2013 when he actually tried to take his dancing to the next step. He had just graduated and his parents had been pushing for him to continue his education, But Theo wanted to do something fun, so he went and auditioned for "So You Think You Can Dance, Season 10." He and a few friends took a trip to LA to audition. Out of his friends, only two of the five were able to audition (including him) just due to the amount of people auditioning and the fact that two of them chickened out. Theo was the only one asked to stay after everyone had auditioned. He along with 10 other people auditioning were asked to stay and to see how well they perform specific choreography. It's a way of seeing if those that they were on the fence about passing actually had a chance in future shows. Theo was one of the last to be elimated, but he was told to comeback next year and audition.
So Theo waited for the next round of auditions, working at various dance studios. Mainly just dealing with parents wanting to put kids in classes and figuring out which ones they'd fit in best. As well as cleaning up the studios when people left. He was hoping he'd be able to move up to teaching classes, but the studio he was at in Bremerton had plenty of teachers. One day after he had gotten off of work, his mother was really excited to show him somethings on the tv. He just assumed it was something on the news about somebody they knew. So when he sat down in front of the tv with his mother and a comercial started playing, he didn't thnk anything of it. It wasn't until after it had finished and the recording stopped did he realized that she wanted to show him the commercial. He had to rewatch it again because he wasnt paying attention, but it was an ad for a korean dance show, like 'So You Think You Can Dance' It was cute how his mother was so eager to show him this. It really made Theo feel proud and like this was something he could actually do, because it was the first time his mother had shown support for this dream he had of just dancing.
So Theo sent an audition tape, and was flown out to Korea to continue and audition on the actual show. Theo was then placed on the Red Wings team, which ulimately ended up losing. But despite that, Theo met a few other dancers and choreographers that he became friends with. Often visiting their studios and participating in their choreographies or even co choreographing with them. It was after one of those Choreography videos garnered almost a million views did he get his first offers to join companies as a dancer/choreographer. Out of the companies that offered him that oppourtunity, he went with JYP since they had an open contract in which he could collab still with his friends, or go and teach at the other companies under JYP.

- Dance lol. Because thats all this kid does. If he isn't dancing, he's watching others dance, if hes not doing that, he's talking about dance.

+ Trivia :
- Theo is hardcore Aual. Like is repulsive and he's not about that life. He is also very much an aromantic. Just stick to platonic relationships with him. He just doesn't have any desire for it.
- Theo has a bad knee, though it doesn't stop him from dancing, it does cause him to walk with a slight limp and to ache on rainy and cold days. He and his friends were just playing a little too rough and he ended up messing with his ACL. It wasn't a full tear. Just a partical one, but he was on crutches for a while and had to wear a brace for a few months after that. He was around 8 when it happened.
- Theo has his nose peirced, purely on a dare and because everyone else was scared to go through with it. So in his friend group, he's the only one with it. He usually just wears a stud or a clear place holder type thing. (The term is escaping me currently)
- Theo still has an emergancy inhaler. He's only had to use it three times since he was 12, and before that, maybe 2. The most recent one was on Dancing9 after an incredibly stressful and intense performance.
- Theo hates to be called Teddy. And it's only something his baby sister ever called him when she was younger, but she stopped a few years ago and calls him Theo-bear or Theo now.

+ Trainee Years : 9 months
+ Trainee Life : Theo didn't start off as a trainee, he started as a back up dancer/choreographer for the company. Wit his talent and experience, I mean who wouldn't want him on their team? Theo only began training 3months before the show started and had only been at the company as a back up 6 months before that. Theo didn't have a lot of problems adjusting to the training life style. I mean the kid already breathed, slept and ate dance pretty much. Just throw on some other basics and he was good to go. He picked up on rapping pretty fast, mainly because he listened to a lot of rap and r&b already, not to mention he's got a great sense of rhythem from dancing and he speaks english. Plus with JYP as long as you can talk on beat, he counts that as rapping. Theo didn't interact with a lot of the trainees as a trainee, they still saw him as a teacher or an assistant choreographer. He never minded that much either, it was easier to train that way and focus. But he'd always step in situations that needed mediation. Since old habits die hard.
+ How do you feel about being in a survival show *again*? : Jesus can't I just dance. Just let me dance, but now I want to beat everyone. I. will. be. the. best. "It'll be fun," Theo grins. "I didn't get a chance to win last time, but that was more based on team scores, I always perform consistantly, and usually pretty well. I don't have a doubt that I will finish on the top.
+ What do you think will make you stand out? : everything lol. I'm pretty membrable as most of the women at church back home would say "My charm?" Theo laughs, "I mean outside of my previous experience and outstanding skills in different dances. All you are left is with my wit and english skills."
+ Where do you think you're lacking? : AHAHAHAHAHAHA "Definitely in singing and training in that aspect, but I am confident that wont affect my performance aspects. I am always quick and eager to learn. But that will probably affect me most. Others would probably say I am too "americanized" and that'll be my weakness. I am Korean, I hold korean citizenship, I just happened to be born in America."
+ Do you think you can beat the other contestants for a spot in the final lineup? : "Hell ing Yeah" "I will be standing on that finial stage as a winner. I wont stop until I am."
