In my previous blog post, I talked about the idea of conducting a writing contest with the main character is Joy (Red Velvet). However, to hold a writing contest there're many things I need to do first, like thinking about prizes and judges and all. In the end, I decided to postpone it, and then this idea came in like a wrecking ball.

It's called a fic exchange.

What is fic exchange?

Unlike writing contest where there are prizes and judges and winners, in fic-exchange everyone gets their prizes. When you sign up, you will be assigned a person to write a story for, and you'll also have a person write for you based on your preference. However, who writes for whom will remain disclosed until the posting period, so it will be like manito/secret angel game.

Why do you do this event?

Let's just say this is my self-satisfaction. I want and need to grow Joy-tag in aff, lol. Let alone het-pairing, even the girlxgirl pairing in red velvet, there's still a few of Joy as main characters. Also, with Joy's birthday approaching in September, I think this will be a good timing to hold some sort of celebration.

What will we get If we signed up?

A fic will be written for you! With the pairing of your preference.  

How long is the story should be?

Oneshot between 1000-3000 words is preferred, but if you could finish the story before the deadline, everything will be accepted.

When is the deadline?

(not fixed)

Sign up period : July 3rd - July 15th, 2016

Assignment placement and confirmation : July 16th-  July 20th, 2016

Writing period : July 21st - August 28th, 2016

Posting period : August 29th - September 3rd, 2016

How to join?

A story you want to receive : (pairing, genre, or even prompt)

What do you write : (pairing : het-pairing, girlxgirl, any genre? anything you couldn't write ex: rated-contents, yuri, etc.)

Can you do double : (write more than one story? yes/no)

Note :  I'll only begin this event if there's minimal of 5 participants. If you have any question or interested in joining this event, please pm me. (when I get 5 participants I'll post this on AFF story)
