Sorry, I just really need a place to rant about this, because SM done dealt so much injustice to Yixing this comeback. There is absolutely no way I am paying anything to hear my bias sing 2 minutes worth of lines. Like I'm really sorry, but my truth is Yixing > the rest of EXO. SM, y u gotta do him so dirty?

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I honestly kind of want him to leave EXO and leave SM. Boy can't get no respect around there. 

He is constantly flying back and forth between China and Korea, he practically lives at the airport. He hasn't seen his family in forever. He's shooting reality programs, shooting dramas and movies, recording new music for EXO, learning new choreography, shooting advertisements for T-Mall and Tide, doing interviews and photoshoots with magazines, web interviews, attending press conferences, training his body so he can have abs for all those thirsty EXO-L's, doing live broadcasts with the V-app, fainting on concert stages and in the middle of filming programs, going to appointments with chiropractors and massage therapists, and he STILL manages to put on a smile and be happy for EXO and EXO-L's sake, and all he gets in return is 2 pathetic minutes' worth of lines on an album that is meant to be sung in HIS. NATIVE. LANGUAGE.

You would think, that after doing every little thing SM has asked of him, they would show a little more appreciation. Here's a man with a strong, honest, work ethic. Who has integrity and is willing to give 100% of his fighting spirit. Who can play piano and guitar by ear, compose and arrange music, write lyrics, can dance freestyle and choreography, is versatile and multi-talented, willing not just to try everything, but willing to give it nothing less than his best shot. Who is sweet, kind, funny, loyal, friendly, works well in a team and individually, is creative, relentless, and passionate. He will never give up. 

But the best they can do with him is 2 minutes worth of lines and an OT8 movement in the fandom. Unbelievable. After bending over backwards trying to prove his dedication to EXO while not neglecting his personal goals, the fandom still gives him the side-eye and criticizes him for "not making the group a priority."

Here's what I think: Yixing needs to drop 'em. He can't rise up and reach his full potential. I'll admit it, it was a great start. It was what he needed to jump into the industry and get his name and his image out there, to put down some roots and scout the industry, and I know he will forever be grateful to SM and EXO, but now the association is holding him back. Xingmis know that Yixing's dream is to become a musical artist, and being a K-pop idol isn't going to be enough for him. He's got much bigger plans for himself.

He's creative, he's a free-thinker, he's an innovator, he's an artist. He won't be able to grow so long as EXO and SM are hanging over his shoulder like a dead body.

And EXO will perfectly fine without him, they've still got plenty of strong vocalists, dancers, and rappers, and I don't see why his friendship with the other members has to end. But Yixing has got loftier dreams to pursue. If you love him, let him go. 

Alternatively, it'd also be funny if a Korean member announced his departure. Like Chen or Baekhyun or something, 'cause then all those salty OT8 fans who gave Yixing the stank-eye can go shove their horse attitudes back up their asses.
