BACKGROUND :　

amelia jae-yi wren was born in london, uk on october 10, 1996. her father considered to be profesional therefore her education are well taken care off. since amelia was young, she loves to listen to mozart and draw. although her father insisted her to focus on studying, she used her free time to do her favourite thing. when she was 7, she asked her father to let her learn how to play violin as she wished to have a skill. her father agreed and she practiced hard and managed to get the highest level at the age of 15 and participated in orchestra. amelia has a normal life with warm and happy family and she has normal grades in school . when she was 14, her health was going on a drastic decline as she always has stomach upset every few days. at first, she thought she has eat something wrong but it was getting more painful that she has to tell her father. her father then took her to the hospital and found out that she has a serious ulcer in her stomach. she was immediately admitted to the hospital and undergoes operation. however, a few weeks after she has done her operation, she has appendix on her stomach because she eats too many, and she has another operation. therefore, amelia said that she's the weakest when she was 14. but now after she has taken care of her diet, her stomach is getting better.

amelia has interest in k-pop when her best friend, jeremy, showed her the music video "it's you" by super junior. she loves super junior songs a lot and become a fangirl since then. she watched every variety shows that super junior were in. at that time she hasn't think of becoming an artist yet. since she did not know how to sing she decided to learn rapping by watching big bang's video. slowly, the way she talks also become faster because of the rapping. a few years later, her friend showed her an advertisement about an audition in daybreak entertainment. amelia decied to audition through online since she always want to be in the same industry with her idol. she was accepted and required to go to korea to have a full audition. although her father don't allow, after her grandfather's advise, he let her go.

LIFESTYLE :　

amelia still live with the girls generation members. as one of the youngest member in the group and not being a native in south korea, she thinks that it is a good choice to live with the members. although she doesn't know how to cook, she is the tea or coffee maker of the group. every morning, she will wake up early with the member who cooks and she'll make coffee or tea for the members. she regularly spend her day in the practice room or recording studio to compose songs when she doesn't have any schedules. amelia and tom seldom have date because this is a long-distance relationship. they will meet at least once a month when tom will come to seoul and visit her if he doesn't have any schedule and amelia will go to new york or london to visit tom for a few days if she is free.

to amelia, benjamin is a responsible father even though he has no wife and she has no mother. before she went to korea, benjamin spent most of his time after work with amelia. when he went overseas to work, he also bring her along. they had a happy time, but it will be happier if her mother is there. benjamin was reluctant at first to let amelia pursuing her idol career in korea, but after christopher and madeline's advise, he let her go. amelia always wanted her father to find another partner because he's been single for a long time. benjamin doesn't listen to her obviously because he still loves soo-jin.

“girls' generation has been in the indsutry for the past 6 years. what was the most memorable moment for you?” : 

♕ the most memorable moment for me is when girls generation has the first concert in 2012. it was a really memorable moment because the concert is the result for our hardwork. the nine of us are together as one to acheive our dreams together. to be honest, i cried after the concert because i was too happy. the maknae laughed at me because i cried. 

“who are the junior groups you are looking forward to? do you have any specific reason as to why you are keeping your eye on them?” : 

♕ (looks at the interviewer and smiles brightly) aoa of course. i have no words to express how glad and happy i am when they debut. how can someone be so cute and y at the same time? even i can't do it. you know i cannot do y stuffs right? i really hope that they would be successful and everyone from everywhere will know them. (laughs) as for boy group, i'm looking forward to see more of bangtan boys' songs. being an idol group who specialized in rapping is not easy, because some may be successful and some may not because fans from the world may not like this genre. and surprisingly, bangtan boys did very well for their debut single. this makes me wanted to hear more of their songs.

♕ i'm not glad, I'M HONOURED. (everyone in the room laugh) i nearly choked myself when i heard it from the members. i was like "how can i, a new idol, is the ideal type of the big bang of k-pop?" when me and seungri sunbae met at the backstage of music shows, he is really funny and acts all fanboying over me. i really like this type of person because they are carefree and make you laugh like there's no tomorrow.
