Inetzhere: Is It Okay To Crop Out Former Member From Past Promotional Pictures?(exo/snsd/2ne1/b2st)

Some Fans are finding relief and peace in croping the former members of kpop groups. Apparently only that can make them less sad towards the departure of members, but is it really okay to do that? Crop the past pictures won't really make it seems like they never were part of the cited group to me, what's your opinion on the matter?

I think that it's okay to crop out the former member from the picture IF there isn't any official photo of the current group members yet. But if they already have like tones of official group pictures (with the current members) then I don't see the need to use the old photos with the former members.

Also, if the article is stating something like "exo's albums throughout the years" and the journalist decides to include the album's covers, I feel like it will be really rude to crop out the former member(s) from the covers since they contributed to the albums as well and their effort deserves to be acknowledged.
