currently, yooyoung's hair length is a little over her chest, dyed a pretty dark-brown and styled with no bangs. it's usually let down untouched, because believe it or not, she has trouble tying her own hair. milky white skin paired with admirable features like her cherry lips, and not to forget, her long legs. she's pretty well-known for her figure and height too. she was akin to a princess naturally.

ELABORATION  

— (Overly) Positive — Nothing is impossible. That's what our Yooyoung thinks. There's always a ray of hope nearby, as long as you believe it, a chance will arise for you to grab it. Even at everyone's wits end she'd believe it possible. It's pretty weird how she can feel that way no matter the circumstances, no one really understands how she's able to feel that way constantly. Yet, it also burdens other people or annoys some when she simply thinks it possible from her perspective. But really, she believes so only because she's constantly pampered back at home and even in the dorms and gets anything she wants. 

 

— Cheerful — Never ever experiencing much sadness or disappointment in her life, she's always bubbly and cheerful since she's pretty much living in her own perfect little world. She had always been taken care of like that precious stalk of rose in the greenhouse, everything was suited and adapted to her needs. 

 

— Honest — This trait could be positive yet, it could also lead to her downfall. She can't lie. Her conscience wouldn't be able to take it. Whenever dangerous questions are asked, it is mandatory that it never goes to her, or she'll spill the beans. Thanks to that, she gets herself in a lot of trouble and offends quite a handful of people too. Of course, some people are thankful for her honesty though. Don't ever tell her your secrets too. She'd be honest with you. She can't keep them.

 

— Playful — She loves hyping things up, she really can't stay still for long especially when things get boring or dull. She simply has to move about or just jump about even when she hates exercising. Her sheer inability to keep still has kinda contributed to her energy while dancing, never-ending. She takes this as her way to cheer people up too. Besides, it has always been in her blood to be a child. She pulls pranks like a child. She sometimes even speaks like a child. And many times, simply acts like a child. How matching for a mother.

 

— Physical — She embraces physical affection heavily, and would just go out with full on hugs and cuddles or even smooches and kisses as soon as she get acquainted with someone. No one has ever told her off about it, so the habit has stuck to her ever since. 

 

— Polite — With how her family standing was, the first impression she had to give others was that she was a well-taught daughter. And how does one do that? It'd be being polite of course. She was given etiquette training and towards outsiders and people she first encounter, to give a good impression, she plays the polite card before all hell breaks loose and she shows her princess side.

 

— Lazy — Yooyoung is, pretty much emotionally attached to her princess bed or whatever she claims to be the "holy sleeping chambers" (which in actual fact, is just anywhere he can shut her eyes and doze off). It takes a lot to wake her up but really quick for her to fall asleep. So never do let her shut her eyes for an elongated amount of time when you're at a schedule or it'll just be like you attempting to wake Sleeping Beauty. In addition, whenever she's forced to do something she doesn't want and it becomes a drag, she whines a lot. Back at home, everyone else does whatever she wants for her after all.

 

— Clumsy — One of the reasons why her parents pamper her and keep watch over her a lot. Tripping, falling and tumbling. She somehow always manages to end up with bruises at the end of the day. She's completely fine with it though, she's already used to it. People worry over her however, wondering if it could be a sickness or maybe she's just not careful enough.

 

— Spoilt — Being pampered from young, this princess has grown up spoilt, and although not as demanding as persay real-life princesses, she's still quite the wreck. She's pretty stubborn. She expects others to do things for her sometimes. And when things don't go her way, she simply whines, hoping it'd get done her way. To sum up, she's mildly a brat who can't really do much but purify your eyes with her beauty. Household chores are definitely out of the question in this case. 

 

— Self-centered — Many times she forgets her position as an idol to built a friendly image, and thinks only for herself. It's quite troublesome really. Although being an idol has definitely lessened her tendencies to be self-centered. Her social understanding of sharing still isn't quite enough yet. Watch out, she might end up fighting with the kids for ice cream.

[ FAMILY ] :

"My daughter wasn't meant to suffer this way. She's my baby princess." — Im Hyunsoo, her father of age 50 is the CEO of a major hotel branch of South Korea. Ironic enough, his business runs in Seoul but they as a family live at Jejudo. That's because Yooyoung's father loves the scenery and nature that fills Jejudo, ain't he a stubborn man. He can afford to do so, because he's rich though. With the amount of income he gets, he pampers his youngest daughter the most, giving her anything she wanted, treating her like the absolute apple of his eye even his wife would get jealous. He's such a er for his daughter he'd probably cry watching the programme because his daughter would be "suffering". 

 

"Just let her give it a try. She's already in her twenties." —  (Hwang) Im Ahreum, her mother. If anyone asked why Yooyoung didn't become the worst of spoilt brats with her daddy's pampering. The reason would be her mother. Her mother was the balance that set Yooyoung in the better path. She was a housemaker, but was also an ex-ballerina. Maintaining her figure well, she passed on her best traits to her daughter. She was also the one who taught Yooyoung of the prim and proper life of a ballerina and insisted on Yooyoung taking etiquette lessons, which turned out to be pretty useful. People did like her politeness at the start after all. The only thing she failed to teach Yooyoung would be how to do household chores to be very honest.

 

"My precious sister better not be hurt or i'll do all i can to wreck your show." — And last but not least, her older brother, Im Soonyoung, the heir of their father's hotel.Yet another replica of her daddy. She and her brother are really close, but her big brother would literally stare any male idol down that gets paired with her, driving away her potential love interests aka the males. Scary, ain't it. Another big shield of hers. The males in her family just adore her so much, like a jewel encased. Sometime that just makes her wanna rebel. That's kinda why she's on this show too, to rebel her dad.

 

[ FRIENDS ] : 

"I wish we could have debuted together." — Choi Seungyeon, one of her besties from when she was still part of YG ent. Even though Seungyeon had been younger than her, they clicked really well. Having been in the same dorms once, they were dubbed by their other dormmates the lazy dorm couple, they were both hard to wake. Had late breakfast together, but were both diligent in terms of achieving their goal of debut so they worked together a lot. They were close in terms of family discussions too. With Seungyeon's brother being an idol and Yooyoung being part of a rich family, they could relate a lot, with the jeering of their trainee mates and the press throwing their attention on them a lot. It had been heartbreaking when Yooyoung left YG for another company, but Yooyoung's father just wouldn't have it, since there was no assurance and wanted Yooyoung to debut in her prime. Even though Yooyoung is older, she sometimes feels like the younger part of their relationship. Despite this, they still text a lot though. And are close friends that would undoubtedly share hobbies with each other.

 

"Hah, you're gonna be a mother? Good luck to your children and partner to be honest." — Oh Sehun, the maknae of EXO, also the devil's bane of Yooyoung's life. Not gonna lie, Yooyoung used to have a crush on him back when they were still trainees, keyword "crush". He was nice, and attractive. But his sarcasm and teasing would knock Yooyoung down sometimes mentally and oh, how much did she have to endure hitting his face. Then again, he was one of the first people to completely drop Yooyoung's princess tiara to the ground despite everyone trying to bootlick her when she first joined the company, it was like experiencing reality to her. It was good for her though, felt like there was an equal she could talk to at least. Overall, he was a special friend. /insert Yooyoung's disapproving brother.

 

"Have fun doing the show alright. Don't get yourself hurt. Give up if you have to." — Amber Liu, the caring tomboyish older sister she wish she had. Yooyoung had always been jealous of her talents and would pester Amber to teach her how to play the piano etc. Amber would always go "Maybe next time." though. Still, she admires Amber as an individual and wishes she were half as talented. She even goes as far as to camp at Amber's home sometimes, so she technically lives there like once or twice a month for minimum 3 days, maximum a week.

 

She is friends with many, but the aren't as close as the three listed above. Like her princess tendencies don't show through for most part of them. Technically, you can just throw in anyone from SM. Others include her group members, which she is generally, only acquainted with so she would probably not ask them on the show when asked to. But if you do want to, her group members would be akin to Red Velvet members.

RELATIONSHIP absolutely strangers. i mean, look at yooyoung's brother, sehun was enough.

 

ABOUT  

for starters, seokmin's a pretty young dude to be placed on this show. he might seem like a complete joke on the outside, known for being a part of seventeen's gag trio. all gummy smiles and such y'know. in which case he really is or can be a jokester, laughs a lot, cracks jokes a lot, overall he's a funny guy who knows how to get those tummy's crying out because you've laughed too much. not ending there, he's also a really good prankster to boot and loves hidden cameras. this would be evident later on as he attempts to prank yooyoung or even the kids. but that's just him being childish. but there must have been a reason why they were partnered up. and it was exactly because of these endearing traits of his, apart from him being childish, he was an absolutely caring person. and could be serious if he wanted to be. in seventeen, he was around the middle of the members, meaning he had both dongsaengs and hyungs so his serious, caring side is usually overshadowed by the other hyungs. through this program however, seokmin hopes to achieve a new image that can appeal to the audience as not just the jokester seokmin, but a caring, dependable guy seokmin, which he really is. that aside, paired with his amazing vocals makes him an incredibly charming guy. there's a lot to him that's absolutely endearing. + wait till you see him cook you'd fall for him more.

 

upon being in a relationship, he'd treat his significant other like a princess. cough. cough. yes. a princess. but then again, he'd probably end up switching back to his childish self sometimes and joke around (which is absolutely suitable for yooyoung). once getting interested in someone or getting into a relationship, he would stop at no ends to get to his romantic interest, he's that much of an immature romantic.

LOVE STORY 

the two had met through the programme and had become texting buddies prior to the programme starting just to get a little chemistry going so they wouldn't seem too awkward on set. both had wanted to join the programme with no preferred partner and ended up being paired together.  it had been awkward at first really, yooyoung hadn't expected getting a younger male for a partner. she, herself had known her limitations in the parenting department. and had worried if everything would sail smoothly getting such a young partner. carefully but politely, she had voiced out her concerns to her partner through text, earning her a reply that told her to relax and not to worry. which was hard to do, concerning how seokmin was barely legal. but what could she do but trust him, her rebel streak against her father would end here if she pulled out now. all she could do in her place was attempt to read up on parenting, which really didn't help at all considering how she couldn't keep still at all while reading. the next closest thing she could do was, pray. and of course, try to get acquainted with the younger seokmin. it had been awkward enough not knowing each other, but their had definitely been a worry. god bless seokmin for being a wonderfully sociable jokester, approximately a few days into chatting, he had already upgraded to calling her "noona". in which, yooyoung playfully told him not to for it would make her feel incredibly old. and he complied by replying "do you want to call me oppa then." with a cute emoji. he had probably found it innocent, but sure enough it had shook yooyoung's heart a little even making her blush. to which she of course replied "pft, sure. in our next lifetime maybe."

 

thankfully enough, seokmin had been absolute father material. she wasn't sure if it was because of the friendly vibe he gave off or whichever, he was so good with the kids, she had stoned staring at him interact with them. something was definitely budding from this programme and she knew it. as time passed, it became evident to yooyoung how caring seokmin was towards her and the children with how clumsy she was. the familiar feeling of a spring breeze and a crush had once again come to yooyoung. she had started to open up to this little family of theirs. occasionally showing bits and pieces of her princess side. right down to when seokmin broke the 4th wall and yooyoung would blatantly whine out on purpose that she was tired or that she was hungry and pout just for seokmin to whip something up to feed her. what had her determine that he had been the right guy was ultimately how he had held up her princess tendencies like a professional out of true care, not out of trying to please her or for the show, it had felt genuine. and of course, the tiny moment their hands had brushed against each others while packing a picnic for the children and she had felt a spark.

 

it had felt obviously wrong to yooyoung at first, a noona-dongsaeng relationship, come on. unknowingly one day, she had voiced her concern to seojun while trying to pack up his toys for him. "do you think it's alright for princess omma and prince appa to be together." the child had simply nodded. and said "of course! but we like princess omma more! so seojun and seoeon have to be with you too.". at that moment, yooyoung had thought herself really dumb to be asking a 2-year old this question, but this cutie had went on waddling to their appa asking. "appa, do you like princess omma." only to earn a laugh from him, before he asked "why" and seojun had answered him shockingly. "omma's mine!". although childish and unsure, it had definitely sparked competitiveness in seokmin. thus, began the fight of three males in the household for yooyoung's attention.

 

this only served to intensify yooyoung's feelings for him and have seokmin settle his unsure feelings for her. they had at an adaptable pace, slowly formed an unofficial relationship which both acknowledged as they showed subtle (!!! not at all please it's skinship queen yooyoung) skinship and was only confirmed near the end of the programme.

 

TRIVIA 

✕  seokmin teases yooyoung a lot, about calling him oppa instead, which she always refuses and would use the children (her knights in shining armor) as a shield, telling them to attack him whenever he brings it up.

✕  he cooks pretty well, so much it's addictive to yooyoung really, she would end up calling him outside of schedules to cook for her.
✕  they both love cleanliness so it's not odd to see them making sure the place is clean. (aka yooyoung points out where's dirty and seokmin cleans)
✕  yooyoung's brother heavily disapproves of the relationship, but seokmin would never back down and he had ultimately made it out of her brother's office alive.

✕ towards the confirmation of his feelings, seokmin had pecked yooyoung's cheek on national tv just to prove to the twins that he liked her more. in which, everyone got flustered by.

ABOUT  

this pair of twins are a bunch of never-ending fun. they hate separating from each other and tend to like the same things, which can be a blessing, because the two amateur parents don't have to wreck their brains figuring who likes what, or a curse, if there's only one of what they want, and it can't be split, there'd be no sharing involved. ultimately, they are a really open pair and are quick to warm up to strangers too. they aren't particularly high maintenance too. but the problem that they're just kids persists. kids cause all kinda trouble and with twins, it could be double the trouble. a difference to note though, would be how seojun's personality resembles the sun more and seoeon resembles the moon. both shine and glow, but one a lot more active and brighter + noisier than the other.

PARENTING RELATIONSHIP 

at the very beginning, yooyoung had dressed up as a princess and seokmin had dressed up as a prince to meet the twins, quickly earning favour from the twins since they liked their fairytales. somehow like out of a fairytale book, these outfits had worked its spell on the twins and before they knew it, the twins didn't even really mind if their real paretns were there anymore. the nicknames of "prince appa" and "princess omma" had carried on since then and they were off to a great start. although twins, they weren't completely identical, so the two parents decided to focus on both separately and review how they were like after each episode to quickly learn about both of them, and sure enough it worked. it had allowed the two amateurs to approach the twins at eye level, steadily building a relationship with them. most of the time seokmin was in charge of the physical stuff like cooking and cleaning and yooyoung served as entertainment for the kids while they waited. surprisingly, they were really open to skinship too and within a week or two, yooyoung was already cuddling them to death. okay, to be honest, seokmin did most of what was needed and yooyoung was being really extra at the start. but slowly and surely, she had started to feel like her position was supposed to be important too and had taken charge of some duties from seokmin, learning in the process, although still failing a lot of times with how clumsy she is. the twins absolutely adore yooyoung though and would even ask her to sit sometimes and just let the prince do the work, to which yooyoung objects saying it's too much for him. the twins as witty as they are would force her, the princess, to rest and offer to help out instead. they even fight back for yooyoung whenever she gets teased. overall, they are an absolutely smooth sailing family that kinda consists of 4 kids, so you can only imagine the noise they'd produce and the amount of fun they have together.

 

TRIVIA 

✕  seoeon and seojun like yooyoung love seokmin's food and would rather eat his food than eat out, unless it's hamburgers or fried chicken.

✕  the twins have once fought over who should marry princess yooyoung. it was such a joke.
✕  they all sleep separately. seokmin and seoeon in one bed. yooyoung and seojun in another. coughs. the twins change their positions on a weekly basis cause they both wanna sleep with yooyoung tbh.
✕  with how lazy yooyoung is, seokmin tries to let her sleep in and would attempt to make breakfast without waking the twins.

✕ the twins surprisingly take a liking to seventeen's songs more and would make seokmin perform it for them sometimes.
