Elaboration :
Lia isn't the most cheerful and talkative person you'll know. She's very reserved and will usually talk when she thinks its necessary. She's more of an observer and listener as some would say, she knows everything but will not say it unless told to or she thinks its right. She's quite open minded and won't get jealous of small things and she won't over think things either but because she has a hard time expressing her emotions, she sometimes comes off as rather quite cold and secretive but in reality, she's just a shy sweet girl who wants everyone to be happy. Not wanting to bother anyone with her troubles either, she always keeps her emotions and troubles to herself instead of telling someone leading her to have break downs once in a while at night time in bed where she will cry herself to sleep.

The only time people have seen her loosen up or act childish is when she is with her brothers, Rome when they were still friends or when she's drunk.

Background :
Born in the city of Melbourne and raised in Sydney, Australia, Lia grew up in a middle-high class family as the youngest child with her mother, Kang Yewon, father, Kim Seungho and her twin older brothers Jinwoon & Jaewon. Her father was a businessman who always went on oversea trips for work and her mother worked as a florist just to earn some extra money. Ever since she was a kid, she never really got along with her father because he was never actually there. The longest they've probably ever sat in the same room was maybe around 5 minutes. It wasn't that she didn't love her father, they just never actually had bonding time due to his occupation so whenever it was a parent day at school or Lia just wanted to go have fun, she would either bring her mother, her grandfather who doted on her or her two brothers.

Growing up with all her cousins being guys, she never really grew up feeling like a girl until she got her first boyfriend but with that being said, Everyone in her family liked to spoilt her because not only was she pretty much the only girl but also because she was the youngest out of everyone not to mention how all her cousins and brothers were rather protective of her due to them knowing how shy and anti-social she could be. Ever since Lia was young, she wasn't one with many words and preferred to listen to others then screaming and shouting like every other little kid which made people consider her 'special', Because she was so quiet, she never quite made friends until she met Rome on her first day at school in Sydney. Unlike her, he was loud, social and very cheerful. Rome didn't mind Lia's quietness nor boyish ways, instead he actually liked it. It made Lia's different and special in her own way. No one really knew how these two even became best friends with them being polar opposites but one thing for sure was that Rome made Lia very happy even if she didn't show it. Rome was of course always the one talking while Lia would sit and just listen with a small smile with some occasional responses. Rome didn't need Lia to tell hi, that she was happy about them being friends because Lia had always displayed it in a different way. Rather than words, she used actions and affection.

Of course her brothers and parents were shocked when she brought her best friend home for the first time and got an even bigger shock when her best friend was revealed to be a boy but they were just happy she had made a friend, her brothers also grew pretty fond of Rome and both families even became pretty close with each other. As she grew older, she made a few close friends along the way who weren't boys and she started hanging out with them while as Rome hung out with his group of friends but they would always hang out with each other on certain days or after school. Nothing could go between them, well not then at least. When High School hit and puberty washed over them, the skinship was still there but Rome started to get attracted to partying and girls then Lia and she understood that but the appearance of Mariel was where everything went downhill. From first sight Rome grew attracted to her and made Lia get acquintant with her so she could help Rome get with the new girl and when the two finally started dating, Mariel showed Lia her real side. She was a liar who was possessive, easily angered and easily jealous. As days went by, Rome and Lia stopped talking, contacting and hanging out with each other. Everytime Lia tried to get some sense into Rome, they'd end up in a big fight and stop talking for weeks. The real tipping point of their friendship was when Mariel started spreading rumours about Lia and Lia finally snapped, she confronted Rome and they fought, they fought for hours and finally, Rome ended their friendship. That night, Lia cried, she cried because of the one person who promised to never make her cry. After this whole dramatic issue, their friendship groups stopped hanging out with each other, Rome and Lia avoided each other at all costs and Lia ended up moving to Seoul two months later and finished her studies there while Rome stayed in Sydney until he graduated.

Style :
Like the pictures, Rome dresses very minimalist and casual. His wardrobe mainly consists of blacks, whites and greys and a few tanks here and there. On a usual day, he just wears a t-shirt, sweats or black or blue jeans, sometimes a jacket, sometimes a hat and a pair of nikes or sneakers. Positives:
When people first meet and hang out with Rome, everyone would say his a very sweet and nice guy who is respectful to everyone around him. Ever since he was young, his parents taught him to treat everyone nicely and he will get treated back which would explain why his so happy and nice with everyone. People may not notice but Rome takes note of even the smallest habits and aspects of a person and remembers it on their first meeting just in case he needs them some other time.

Negatives:
Some might think that his hype and loud exterior is whats negative about him but actually, its how oblivious and competitve he is. Oblivious about his surroundings, he is very slow of getting the hint of whats happening around him which sometimes leaves him in a very awkward moment for commenting or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Even with girls, he never notices that some girls like him more then friends or that his making them uncomfortable with how touchy he is. When he plays games or sports with people, at first he takes things lightly but once he loses a point, his smile slowly fades and he gets really competitive because he always strives to win. Most would say that being competitve is good and attractive but with Rome's case, it can be rather annoying as he sometimes does goes overboard or gets hurt about his lost, almost like how a kid would react.

The first thing people notice when they meet Rome would be that his rather fond of skinship. He touches both females and male friends rather intimately sometimes and doesn't really notice if they're uncomfortable unless they say so. With most, his fondness of skinship makes it easier to get comfortable and get closer with Rome but a minority would find it rather uncomfortable. Rome gets easily jealous when his dating, he doesn't like it when his girl gets close with a guy, or even smile at them even if its his friends. The only person that was able to control his jealously is no other than Lia.

Background :
Rome is the oldest child of the Yu family. He had always wanted a younger sibling and the wish did come true but quite late. His parents gave birth to Sumin at the age of 41 and seeing how hard it was for them, Rome stood up and started to become a more fatherly figure to Sumin to help his parents out. He pays for her clothes, pre school fees and any expenses that she needs. He brings her out often and treats her like a princess. To sum it up, he adores the little girl and so does his friends. Going back to his earlier years, Rome always had Sunghwa and Jonghwa by his side before they were even able to walk. Their parents met up weekly and made sure the boys were to get along just as well as them. They did everything together, played together, study together and even eat together. As they grew older their bond grew stronger. Then one day in Grade 1, a new girl came to their class. She was quiet, reserved and everything Rome wasn't, her name was Lia. At first it was just small greetings then they got put seated together and thats where their relationship grew.

He started hanging around her more often, kept her company and protected her from the kids that bullied her. Once she started opening up more, he introduced her to Jonghwa and Sunghwa who happily welcomed her and made her fit straight in. When Lia had been told that they were moving houses, she made sure she moved to a house in the trios street and that brought them even closer together when they're parents met and got along. Everything seemed perfect in their small innocent minds, but things changed when they grew older and puberty hit and girls came into the picture, more like Mariel came into the picture. Things went upside down and before we knew it, Lia was gone. He spent nights thinking about her and all the things he could've done to prevent the issue from happening but it was too late. He continued on with being the social butterfly at school and eventually, moved to Seoul, Korea with Jonghwa and Sunghwa to attend University there and hopefully find a career path there. In his 2nd year spent in Korea, he met Lia again who was attending the same univerity but different course. He knew things were never going to be the same the moment she walked the other way when she saw him even ignoring the called from Jonghwa and Sunghwa. In his 4th year of being in Korea, his parents had decided to move over to Korea too due to his dad's job and he moved in with them to look after his baby sister and mum.

First Meeting :
They met in their first year of primary school where Lia was the new student who has moved from Melbourne to Sydney due to her father's work. On her first day, Lia was placed next to Rome and they automatically clicked. They got along well and were always in sync no matter how opposite their personalities were sometimes. She was rather quiet whereas he was more of a loud social kid but somehow they made it work. As they grew older, people always mistook them as a couple from the very natural and intimate skinship and also just how comfortable they were with each other even when they were kids. There were a few times where girls had become friends with her to get closer to Rome but was always put down at the end especially when Rome found out their true intentions.

Moving into year 10, Rome found "the love of his life" Mariel, another korean girl in their school who at that time was the new girl. By that time, Rome was one of the popular kids in school who had connections everywhere while Lia prefered having a small group of friends but she was always open if people wanted to talk to her. Rome started ditching Lia for Mariel and they soon started dating with the help of Lia who always helped Rome by getting acquainted with Mariel even though she wasn't fond of the girl. Not long after he started dating Mariel, he completely forgot about Lia and Mariel took control of his life. Mariel who had Rome completely whipped had the passwords to all his social media accounts and coincidentally, she saw some of the messages exchanged between the two and also the many photos he had of them on his phone making her jealous. With that jealousy, she started spreading rumors about Lia and kept feeding lies to Rome about Lia. When Lia finally snapped and confronted Rome, they thought all night and that was when they decided to call off their friendship. That night, Rome had officially took his girlfriends side and did not listen once to what Lia had to say, he only learnt of the truth after they broke up. A few months later, she moved to Seoul, Korea and finished her studies there.

Interaction :
When things were normal back then, Rome and Lia were very fond of skinship especially because Rome was a very touchy guy. Holding hands, touching, hugging, feeding and even pecks on the cheek were the norm but since all the drama that had happened in high school, they've become really distant and awkward. They can't really stand side by side, have any body contact or even have normal conversations. The only reason they'll be in the same room is because their friends have forced them too.

Lia is a psychology major at SNU (Seoul National University) and is also doing a photography and design course on the side. She has a part time job at Ahri's Wedding Planning business named One Lavish Wish doing things from taking photos, organizing documents, assisting couples to even helping the future brides trying on wedding dresses. She is in her 4th year at Uni and is still attending classes. It's suppose to be her 5th year but she chose to have a break year after graduating high school.

Rome does not attend University but instead is following his passion in cinematography. He and his friends have formed a film production crew called DPR and have been going stable for a good 1-2 years. They're willing to work on almost everything from Music Videos, Shorts, Small Movie productions to even assisting as staff in huge movie and drama productions/filmings.
