style — 

Nara doesn't really like to doll up and dress girly unless she really has to. She is more into street & what some like to say hipster wear. Her closet consists of mainly the colours black, white, grey, red and gold and doesn't have many skirts or dresses but instead, it is filled with shorts and sweats. She also really loves to collect snapbacks and beanies. If she was recquired to dress up, she would totally go to the ier clothing then the cuter ones. Another thing I forgot to mention, she doesn't mind revealing some skin because she believes theres no harm in doing so.

APPEARANCE —

Nara's natural hair colour is a dark brown but after dying her hair a few times, she likes to dye it either a golden honey brown colour, ash blonde brown, red brown or even light brown. She usually dyes it two tone or ombre and enjoys letter her hair grow out long as she believes she doesn't fit short hairstyles. She has dark brown eyes and a rather toned body mainly due to all the dancing that she's done in the past years. She weighs 53kg at the height of 167cm and her bra size is 36D. She has 6 ear piercings on the left ear and two on the right. A tattoo on the center of her back and wants another one on the inner side of her forearm. She also enjoys having henna on her hands.

➳ [Caring] || Nara may not be one of many words but she does care about the people around her. She is willing to do almost anything to help or cheer someone up. People who aren't close to her may think she doesn't care about anything but those who are close to her know that that's just the way she is and they love her for it because even if it means sitting with the person the whole night just to listen to them talk or keep them company, she'd be willing to do it.

 

➳ [Observant] || Nara has always been really observant either it be someone she knows or someone she's seen for the first time. From body language to the way the person is talking, Nara can pinpoint how they're feeling and even what they're thinking. This can be considered her best and most used trait as she can tell if someones lying right away and how they're current mood is. As mentioned before, Nara doesn't mind sitting with people and listen to them talk about their problems even if it was to go on the whole night and sometimes even give them advice that would help the troubled person. 

 

➳ [Hardworking + Quick Learner] || Whatever task is given to Nara, she will always do her best to complete it as effectively and quickly as she can. She hates procrastinating when given a rather imortant task and so she heads straight to work after being given the task. Not only that but she is also a really quick learner in anything really. Dancing, cooking, singing just anything. A skill she got from her mother. Because she is someone who learns really quickly, she usually has to stay bac in the practice room later then everyone learning and creating dance routines for her group then teaching them the next day. 

 

➳ [Perfectionist] || Nara is a huge perfectionist. She does not like mistakes and needs everything to be on point. From school to dancing, Nara does not tolerate mistakes and messy things but because she is a perfectionist, it can be rather annoying at times for others as well. When she is teaching her members a new choreography, she forgets about them being older then her and will make them keep repeating the same thing over and over again until everyone is on time and at the exact same angle which means they could be staying up all night just because of her. Even though as mentioned this can be rather irritating for others, it is also a good thing as it does have good after effects not only on her but on others as well even if it means her being rather bossy and blunt. 

 

➳ [Independant + Quiet] || Since young, Nara never liked to rely on other people and prefered doing things on her own which made it rather hard for people to get along with her. Being quiet didn't help as it made her appear cold and scary to people who aren't close to her which only lead to bad rumors surrounding her or just people scared of her in general. Being quiet has its good sides but it also brings along some rather bad things too. Because she has been quiet since a young age, it is very hard for her to express herself to others and so which then leads to things being kept inside causing her stress. No one knows how she feels and what she wants because she is never wording out her opinions etc. 

 

➳ [Competitive] || This is an aspect that is pretty noticeable in Nara when it is the right time. She hates losing. Losing happens once in a while but even when it is clear that the chance of her losing is pretty likely, she still does her best and sometimes even goes to the extreme just because she wants to win. She believes that anyone can win, its just if you tried hard enough to win. Sure losing once in a while in small things is fine but if it was to come to dancing, she never wants to lose. Dancing was something shes done since she was small and she herself knows she is pretty good at it and all that came from hard work. If she was to lose in dancing, she honestly will start crying. 

 

➳ [Blunt] || A trait that makes her seem meaner then she really is. She believes that being honest to someone is the best thing you can do for that person but Nara can be too blunt at times which puts people off. Some say some things are meant to be kept secret or a lie but Nara doesn't go by that. She is honest whether you like it or not. She knows that sometimes she does go overboard and apologize after but most of the time she believes that she did nothing wrong and she was just being truthful.

Nara was born in Melbourne, Australia. She was born as an only child to a korean father and a half korean half filipino mother. She grew up with her mum as her best friend and her two huskies as siblings while her dad was barely ever home due to work. Nara was never really interested in dance until she turned around 6 where she saw street performers perform on the streets for some charity event and instantly fell in love. She started off learning ballet and jazz and slowly moved to contemporary and hip hop which were the two dance styles that she loved the most and the teachers also loved her for her hard working nature.

At around the age of 11, her father had passed away while he was heading home from work at around 1am due to a drunk driver coliding to the side of his car. At the news of her father passing away, of course she was devestated but not as much as her mum. Sure he was her father but he was barely ever there when she was growing up and so the toll of his death didn’t affect her that much. Her mother on the other hand was bawling her eyes out even after 3 months after his death have already passed as well, he was her first love, her high school sweetheart. Nara did her best every day to cheer her mum up and slowly, her effort started to work as her mum slowly stopped crying, got back on her feet and continue on with life.

Two years later, her mother had found herself the love of her life after her father and they decided to get married after 2 years of dating. He was a man who got cheated on by his wife many years back and so he had divorced her and also took custody of his son. Unlike her biological father, he was always there for Nara which had led to her loving him more then she had loved her deceased father. He was there for her dance competitions, he was there when she needed help with homework, he was there when she was happy, sad and even stressed. He also brought along for her a great older brother who was her protector and shoulder to lean on. Nothing could’ve been better.

When she was around 20, she and her parents travelled to Seoul to watch her brother’s debut showcase where he was debutting in a group called C-Clown as a leader and on her way out of the venue, she was scouted by a YG staff who was there saying that he had found videos of her in dance competitions online and that he would love it if she would audition into this korean entertainment company called YG. After telling her brother and her parents about what happened, they instantly urged and supported her to go to the try outs and shockingly for her, she got through instantly and they asked her to stay in Seoul and become a trainee. With mixed feelings, she decided to agree and became a trainee three weeks after passing the auditions. Due to her parents not wanting to live alone in Melbourne, her parents also moved to Seoul with her two huskies and adapted back into the korean lifestyle as they support both of their kids. [Forgot to mention but her Step Father works as a Architect and her mother opened a cafe close by to the company so Nara could visit her anytime].

family — 

▪ Eunsol (Lauren) Bernardo | Mother | Nara is mummy's little girl. She always thinks about her mum first and cares for her very much. She is willing to sacrifice herself if anything was to happen to her mum. 

▪ Byunghun Lee | Father | passed away when she was 12 due to car crash. 

▪ Jaeho Yu | Step Father | Very close to Nara. He treats her like a real daughter and she treats him like a real father. He babies her a lot and cares for her more than anyone else. 

▪ Yu Barom [Rome of C-Clown] | Older Step Brother | So close some people even think they're dating if they didn't know that the two were siblings. Due to this, articles did come out questioning the relationship between the two when she first debuted and photos of him going out to eat with her were taken. 

 

friends — 

▪ Chantelle Kim | Best friend from Melbourne | Chantelle was pretty much Nara's only friend back in Melbourne who she hung out on a daily bases. After moving to Korea, they still keep in contact once in a while through skype.

▪ Block B Zico (Woo Jiho) | Close Friend | She met him through her brother at a party he forced her to go to and they started to get closer after seeing each other a few times. His one of the main people who introduced her to all her friends that she has now such as AOMG and Zion.T. 

▪ Jay Park | Brotherly Figure | When Nara is troubled and Rome isn't there, he is the first person she goes to. He may seem a bit crazy at times but he is a very caring and loving person and is really protective over Nara just like the other guys. He was one of the first few people she made friends with that weren't her members.

relationship  — 

When Nara first met him at a gathering that Zico and Jay Park forced her to go, they automatically clicked as their personalities are some what similar at times and he was just like any of the other guys that she was close to. After meeting again for a few times, skinship was a norm for them and they were like best friends who've known each other for years and so then she they started to go out with each other a lot more often let it be that they were alone or going with some of the other guys. At first glance, anyone would think that they were dating with the hand holding, arms around the shoulders to even the long hugs that they did randomly but to them, it was just a normal thing that they did when they were together. He is the only person who can read her mood and tell when she was lying and she was the only person that could cheer him up when he was down or stressed. The two honestly don't care about rumors and act the way they usually are with each other when they're with close friends which as mentioned misleads people sometimes.
