TRIVIA / Mieko chose her stage name because of one of the meanings of the name, which is 'smile'. She wants to brightens her fans day and she herself wants to be with them with a smile on her face and bring them happiness. However, when she was younger, she had been tormented by her classmates. Considering her heritage, Mieko seems completely unreal with the amounts of talents she has and how perfect she seems to be. They were envious of her and thought she was arrogent, so they bullied her. When she was older, she once agreed to a 3-way relationship because the guy couldn't decide and she could feel his pain and he persuaded her. She started to draw mangas when she was 12 and founded a doujinshi circle when she was 14 during her years abroad. She even started writing her own songs when she was 13 as an outlet for all her emotions she kept inside because she doesn't want to worry people. She hid them and never told anyone about them. She had started voice acting when she was goofing around with friends, but then they suddenly decided to make a cartoon show and everyone took part in it. When she notices people being bullied, she becomes a different person, turning cold and scary. Oh, she absolutely adores any dessert with apples, especially the ones with fruit parts in them.

She was born in an extremely unusual household. Her mother is a very famous and popular Japanese actress, while her father is the CEO of the agency her mother is under, as well as managing a chain of electronic hard ware stores. Feeling that their children probably would follow into their footsteps, they started to teach them various languages and activities like martial arts, dancing and more. Skills they might need for acting and intelligence for business. Therefore its no surprise that she had actually already been working since she was a baby, taking part in ads for baby products and so on. Despite having been in that business for so long and having seen a lot of its many faces, she remains humble. Her mother, who had a difficult life before her success and marriage, kept reminding her not to let herself be blinded by its glamor and a lot of people are responsible for success, even as years passes by. Still, during her active years in Japan, she has won quite an amount of awards. Still, Mieko was once kidnapped and trapped in an old locker as child and couldn't get out, hence two of her fears, which makes it hard for her to breath. Her niece and nephew had given her the nickname because of her love for sweets. She also tells them to call her aunt and often tells them stories about their father and mother.

Mieko stands proudly with her 1,69m height and weight of 55kg. She's healthy and she's happy with it. However, she has cut her hair in the future (this). On her collarbone, there is a birth mark in the shape of a lily and has each of her ears pierced. There is no particular style she'S uncomfortable with, but Mieko prefers a loose, comfortable and cute style. Though, she doesn't wear brightly colored clothes too often. Sometimese there are drawings on her hands, which she often forgets to wash away and then she performs with them on, but her fans like that about her. Mieko always wears a lotus flowered pedant, which you can open and find a picture of her family inside. She never takes it off.

Mieko may have been born into a family that's completely involved with the world of showbusiness and even worked in it herself as a baby, but when you look at her and her personality, one would never think so. She's an incredible kind soul, always helping out whenever she notices that someone is in need of a helping hand or cheering up. She can easily sympathize with other people, even strangers and is often very empathic towards their situation and tries to give them advice or find a solution. She is incredibly perceptive when it comes to emotion and moods and what others like, their behaviour, personality and so on, but when it comes to herself, Mieko is unbelievably oblivious. She would never know if a guy was in love with her, no matter how obvious he would be. She can even be in her own world sometimes, completely oblivious to the world. Still, she is a very friendly person, despite what she experienced in her past, it didn't deter those parts of her. Mieko also is very open-minded, always has been and that just broadened during her years abroad. People can pretty much talk with her about everything, even if it were something taboo and she wouldn't judge them unless she knows the seriousness of their reasons. Another surprising fact about her is that she's unbelievably humble, although she has so many talents and awards to prove her ability. Yet, she never thinks anything of it and stays the same person, thanking the people who worked with her and encouraged her, both on and off screen. She keeps remembering her mother's words from when she was younger and witnessing what it can do to people if they let all their success get to their head. She is naturally curious, which can bring her in good as well bad situations. There have been quite a few incidents, where her curiousity nearly brought big chaos with her. Mieko is also surprisingly quite timid, a result of her past as a bully victim. When it comes to taking the initiative from things aside from helping, she is very hesistant to take that step and often has to be encouraged to do so. Yet, each time she starts something new, she is very determined not to back down from that challenge. In fact, once she gets into it, she finds it quite thrilling and joyous starting it. In that aspect, she is very challenging. She also has the ability to pretty much adapt to any situation now with all her experiences and incidents she has lived through. She is very adaptable when it can be helped and she has a calm mind. Still, the only times that she truly possesses a strong mentality is when it comes to the people important to her. She can do anything for them, she may not have the will to do so for herself, but for others, she can even die for them.

Still, like any other human, she also has her flaws. For example, Mieko can be easily manipulated an persuaded by the people who are close to her like her friends and family. Heck, her friends even once persuaded her to flirt with a married man to see if he'd be interested in her. It also doesn't help that she's incredibly indecisive, she has troubles even making the simplest decisions like what to have for breakfast, not to mention important things. The only ones that are easy for her is when it comes to her family. She's also an unbelievable sensitive person, who you can be quick to make sad, although she would never show it on screen or to her fans, unless it becomes to much for her and she breaks down. She always tries to keep her troubles to herself as to not make things difficult for others. She is stubborn like that. Once she put her mind to it, she won't stop until she is finished or decides to do so. Still, as perceptive as Mieko can be, she can be just as ignorant, seeing as she didn't have a normal childhood and may make dumb comments or make situation worse because she doesn't know any better. However, she can be also quite impulsive herself, suddenly wanting to try this or some activity or audition for something when she's incredibly busy. At the same time, this shows her passionate side, which can be good for work, but bad at the same as she may overwork herself and harm her health. Some may she is an amazing sweetie, but once someone actually harms the people she cares about, it's like someone flipped a switch inside her and she becomes unpredicatble and extremely cunning, looking for ways to get her revenge. She may not kill, but she would definitely find a way to ruin that person's life, depending on the damage that had been done.

Childhood/Career: Having been born in an entertainer family, it's no surprise that Mieko has participated in various advertisments and CFs for baby products. Despite the fact that her parents wanted to let her choose, she was still young back then adn her mother didn't want to part with her yet. Due to the busy schedules of her parents, she wasn't able to spend as much time with them as other children had, thus deepening the relationship she had with her brother, who wasn't as busy as their parents. However, since she wanted to be close to her parents, she decided to do the only thing she could think of to spend more time with them, which was join the family business. Despite her young age, she was already very talented, honing her skills with the lessons her parents provided for her and her brother. She had been a child actress until she was 11 years old. That was the age, where she got bullied by children who were jealous. She felt like the whole school hated her and her school 'friends' just wanted to use her to get closer to stars. Despite her busy schedule, she wanted to be normal at the same time, having friends to play with, but it was difficult. In the end it was too much for her young mind and she decided to take a break from her career. She had been homeschooled for the rest of the year. Her family were worried about her since she refused to go to school again. It was then that her childhood friend suggested to Mieko that she should try studying abroad. She was smart enough and she could start from new. A country where no one knows who she is and who her family were, sounded tempting. In the end he persuaded her, telling her that he will be coming too and her brother said he would accompany her as well. At first their parents were strongly against it, but after noticing that this may be the only way to help their daughter, they agreed. In the end they lived in America for 3 years, Mieko spent one year studying in Germany and France.

During her years in America, it took her some time to open up again and make friends, but the different enviroment and culture helped her. She managed to get over it and she also still kept doing the lessons her parents taught them or made them do in America, finding facilities that offered them. When she got much better at drawing, she started to look for people who liked mangas as much as her and liked drawing as well and thus founded her doujinshi circle. They sold fanart and normal paintings as well to fund their equipment. One day, she was with all her friends and they were reading a manga they made and one of them started to change his voice, saying they should sound like that, causing a huge palyful argument and as they goofed around, she actually started to find fun in voice acting then. She had always been fascinated by that kind of acting, but never tried it out. With 15 her best friend suggested that they should start their own short cartoon online. It started small and for fun, but it didn't take long, when more and more people found interest in it and it quickly become popular. During that time, Mieko improved her skills as voice actress and seeing how good it was going with the series, she thought to herself that this will be her new career. After encouragements from her friends, after she confided in them, she tried out for more voice acting jobs with success. Of course she didn't abandon her circle. In fact since they seemed to be doing well, they had started to sell some doujinshis and mangas and are taking a trips to Japan to sell them at the Comiket in winter.

Turning Point/Trainee Life: Life was going well for the then 16 1/2 year old, she became more cheerful and was content with life. Her friends were aware how talented she was and accepted her for herself, but there was one thing no one was aware of, simply because she was too shy to do that in front of people. That was her love and talent for music. She had started composing and writing lyrics when she was 13, it was one of the things that helped her cope with her experiences. It didn't mean that they went away, but she learnt how to suppress them and concentrate on other things. On a rainy afternoon, while waiting for her friends to work on the cartoon, she was singing quietly to herself. Ayumu who had been in a hurry to get there due to the rain, heard a beautiful singing voice, but couldn't pinpoint whom it belonged to. His surprise was big when it turned out to be Mieko. He just knew that this voice should be shared with the world. He tried to persuade her to audition, but she kept refusing, thinking she was really bad. This was one of the times she was more stubborn than easily manipulated, but after even her brother joined their force, she gave in. She was aware that K-Pop seemed to be more strict in auditions than the American ones, so she went to (previous) New York headquarters to audition for JYP. However, once she actually auditioned, she was astonished how much she loved singing for people, moving them. She got through the auditions and then came the time,where she had to decide. Was she going to stay there or go to Korea? She had difficulties to decide. She wanted both, but knew it was impossible. In the end her friends helped her. They knew a new dream was sprouting inside of her and let her go with their blessings. They made up a reason why her character had to leave and thus started her new life and one of her fears. She is aware how often she changed careers, despite having been successful in all of them. Mieko also believes that with each job change, she slowly changes as well. She started to fear that she doesn't know what she wants anymore, but she shook those doubts away at first.

Her new life in Korea was hard and difficult at first. Korean wasn't one of the many languages she had learnt, but the grammatics were similar to Japanese so it was ok. However, the different cultures were hard for her to adapt to because she was scared that the past will repeat itself, that she will be bullied again since she had no one there. She was absolutely alone in Korea, which caused her to be lonely and feel depressed, but after meeting Mark, who was a trainee like her, her view started to brighten up. She then met other foreign trainees, causing her to cheer up. She was especially happy about the Japanese and American ones. It seemed that her abilities were suffering from her depression, but once she made friends and cheered up, it was like she was freed from the chains that were binding her. The teachers and trainers were all surprised at the sudden change. They even suspected that she was tricking them, hiding her abilities. Mieko even befriended Suzy, who was a rookie, but same age as her. She accidentally bumped into her while she was rehearsing. They quickly became friends and Suzy told her her worries and she offered advice, telling her about how difficult it was for her at first. They started to give each other advice. She still had trouble with some of the Korean pronounciation, but once it got much better and she improved her vocal skills, she sang a vocal guide for a different girl group. Life seemed to go up for her. She wanted to convey them in songs, so she started to write and just as she was singing her song, testing out the melody, lyrics and how it overall sounded, people suddenly barged into her room. Some were her trainee friends and a represantative from JYP, telling her that she was going to debut. She was speechless, not only did they find out that she was able to write songs (good songs in their opinion, she doesn't know if she can trust that statement), but it had only been a year since she was a trainee, so yep, she was dumbfounded.

Debut Life/Now: At first Mieko was scared that they will flop big time, considering they decided to choose her song as their cover track, but her worries were squashed at their success. It seems that people liked their idea for the MV, the melody, the lyrics, but most importantly the different messages she wanted to send with the song. She was happy with their debut, but she was hesistant to do more. She didn't want to seem greedy somehow. Nevertheless, she enjoyed helping her other members fill their schedules, rehearsing with them. She was also glad to try out different activities without disguising herself since she herself wasn't that known. She also had time to write more songs for the group and continue her hobbies and help others behind the scenes. Still, her members were persistent and persuaded her to do more. They promised that things wouldn't change. They said that her being more recognized will help the group, so she started to take part in sitcoms, variety shows, auditioned for movie roles as well as drama and even musicals, but the only voice acting auditions she visited were for Anime in Japan, thinking it will help the group. As she got more screen time and showed her various talents as well as her amiable personality, she started to gain more fans as well as fame. However, since she was already experienced due to her childhood, it was only natural that she received lots of awards (she's still humble). Although she hadn't acted with her body in years, she still remembers everything, which surprised her. As she observed that each of her members started to focus more in a certain direction, aside from music, she felt the need to do the same. However, there was just one problem. She had no idea what to choose. This caused her to remember her past, she kept hearing them sing 'The monster, the monster, the oh so perfect monster, she's too perfect, she's a robot, she has no personality, she's no human~ No one can see her, no one can see her for who she is because she's too perfect~ The monster, the monster will be left alone because she has too many abilities, she will die alone since no one wants that perfect monster~'. She keeps suppressing those memories, letting no one see her inner conflict.

Now her group's very famous, each member very popular, though she probably has the biggest fandom, which puts pressure on her. However, a lot has happened. Like the passing of her brother, whom she still grieves for. They were all surprised when he died during an accident overseas, but the biggest one was when she had been named the guardian of his children. A big responsibility, but one she loves. She often tells them stories about their parents and shows them their pictures quite often. She takes them with her or leaves them at kindergarten, but she's always the one to pick them up, no matter hwo busy she is. She's in a relationship with Mark and loves him very much, but their relationship is a little complicated since she is still in contact with and close to her ex, Myungsoo, making him jealous and insecure. She doesn't know how to take his doubts away. Not to mention all the working offers she has, acting, animation, MC and more. Add to that, her still living activity in her circle. She can't really help sell them since her scandal, not to mention she is more known now. She has trouble balancing everything out as she pressures herself more, but as she keeps worrying about that, her confusion about who she is keeps growing and slowly she starts to fear if she has to begin from new again. She's scared to figure out what it is that she truly wants, but she knows she can'T just abandon them.

Personality :

Mark may be difficult to get close to at the beginning, seeing as he isn't really that talkactive, but once you manage to break through that wall, you will discover sides to him that you may not have expected. He can be quite the goofball, loves to laugh and join in the fun when his friends play around. He's also quick to join when it comes to playing a prank on someone. He loves to laugh and makes terrible jokes. He's also in the opinion that he can be boring, as he once said that the videos with him were all not funny. However, he is incredibly hardworking and serious, despite the fact that he can be awkward at times and a little reserved. He isn't quick tempered, but can get mad if you push him enough. He has often times, where he'S completely absorbed in his own activities. Nevertheless, he's fun to be around and even teaches others if they want to learn how to skateboard. He can be pout and sulk for a bit or snap when someone steals his food though. However, he can also get quite jealous and possessive if he feels strongly about something or someone. He's loyal to his friends, but can switch sides in a playful match. He will always stand on their side and protect them. Though with Mieko, he tends to talk more and she takes more initiative and makes do things with her. They each balance each other out kind of, despite the fact that it can be difficult sometimes.

First Meeting:

Both of them may or may not remember, but when Mieko was 13 and feeling much better after studying abroad since her bully incident, she and her brother took a vacation to California, where Mark lived. She had been wandering around, looking for her brother, whom she promised to meet at a location near the park. There she came across a skate park, where she watched the different tricks and stunts the kids did there. During a moment of carelessness, she got run over by a skater and they both fell. It was Mark and Mieko immediately rushed over to him, to make sure that he was alright and tending to him. He tried to tell her that it was ok, but she couldn't hear him due to her worries. He found it quite cute. After making sure that he was okay, she apologized and they started to talk, spending quite a lot of time with each other, before she heard her brother calling for her. They had never got the other's name.

When they met again, the situation was reversed. Mark had been looking for a training hall, but heard sobbing. There he found Mieko who was feeling lonely and scared as she hadn't been in Korea for that long and had nightmares from the past. Mark was there to comfort her and cheered her up.

Interaction:
They talk with each other, tell what has been happening in their life, their improvement, when they got scolded or just random things. Mieko sometimes tells him ideas for stories she wants to write and hears his opinion and advices. She often makes him proofread it, to make sure it sounds okay and not too stiff or formal. They always make time for each other despite their busy schedules, still they are both grateful that they are in the same company. They often eat out together with some of their friends or group members or play games or sports. They become known for being close friends. Sometimes they sketch together and then laugh when they compare the others' skills. Sometimes, they just visit each other and do nothing, but their own thing or watch movies together. One of the biggest mysteries in the world of idols is finally being lifted! Sky Flowers' Emi's origin, heritage and past projects finally came to light! Although it's known that Emi is very friendly and encourages the people around her, there are barely any facts known about the idol herself. Even since Sky Flowers' debut, her real name has never been revealed, until now.

As previously mentioned, we managed to find out, where popular girl group member Emi's origins lie and thus finding various interesting information about the enigmatic idol. A sudden surprise visit from Japan reveals that the singer's acting abilities aren't just hard work and talent, but it seems the DNA also played a great role in it, as well as experience. The pair mentioned that they were in Korea for private reasons but it turns out that they were visiting their daughter and grandchildren. Emi's real name is Minami Mieko, daughter of the famous Japanese power couple, Minami Akihiko and Reika. Her father is the CEO and founder of 'Mirai Talent Agency' and owner of 'Namika Rai', whereas her mother is popular and famous actress Reika! Not to mention absolutely confirm and destroying any doubts that the twins she adopted, were her own children. They are indeed the children of her late brother.

This may certainly not be a surprise, seeing as her family being very involved in showbusiness, but Emi had been working as a child actress since birth before taking a break to study abroad when she was 11-12. There, Emi not only honed her language skills, but apparantly also her acting skills. Sky Flowers' Emi seems to be unable to catch a break from getting caught in rumours. Last year people found out about her family, the adoption, her relationship and recently, even about her artistic work.However, this time the topic is quite serious.

According to an anonymous informant, there had been quite a lot of arguments between the members of Sky Flowers, not only about their schedule and work, but also the children. It seems that apparantly taking of care of the children is finally taking a toll on her. Stress seems to be piling up as does her workload. Now people speculate that Emi will leave the group to return to her roots in Japan, by pursuing an acting career.

There seem to be quite a lot of people wanting her to return, but let us hope it's just an ugly rumour. What do you guys think? Should Emi leave or not? What's your opinion on this situation? Will Emi betray her fandom and group? Or just another big misunderstanding?

Sky Flowers' Emi's secret love children! A teenage mother? (2018/01/21).

Shocking news! It seems that Emi had an incredible secret as she has been seen with 2 children as they entered the dorm. They three of them seemed too close for mere babysitting service for friends.

The suspicions rise that they are actually Emi's own children! Thus raising many other questions, like who is the father, were the kids neglected with the idol's busy schedule, who had taken care of them and so on. However, it is incredibly important here to note the fact that the children seemed to be around 3-5, which means that the singer had to have them in either her teens or early twenties!

What an irresponsible and cruel decision if she had decided to abandon them, seeing as they were created while she was active! This may explain, why she had been so reluctant to start her own schedule. Did Emi really avoid getting more screen time and work because she actually wanted to rest for the children and hide her pregnancy? We don't know yet, but we will find out.

First of all, we want to apologize to Sky Flowers' Emi for being disrespectful and any grieve we may have caused. It was not in our intention to open old tragedies again and throw salt on the wounds. Therefore, we apologize deeply and hope this apology will be accepted.

It seems that the articles suggesting, including ours, the children were Emi's were wrong. In a press conference Emi had explained calmly and clearly as to who the children were, their parents and why they are currently with her. The idol had started taking care of them in 2015 due to the unfortunate accident her brother with his wife had. Sadly, they had both passed away shortly after the impact. The twins who had been staying with a friend during that time, were unaware of the circumstances. During the reading of the will, it turns out that Emi had been appointed as their guardian.

For the singer there was no moment of hesitation, They were the children of her brother and she couldn't possibly send them away or to her parents since she doesn't want to trouble them. She already loved the children before as if they were her own and now she will definitely protect them from harm and give them as much love as she possibly can. Just like her brother did for her. There may have been a big misunderstanding in the past few months about Emi's relationship with two members of the group, but luckily it resolved quickly and didn't deter their friendship. As if to show off their close friendship, the idol posted a poster consisting of drawings of each member as they fly around a collage made up with private photos as well as pictures from fan meetings. Beneath everything are the adorable GoToons as they all get ready to fly, surrounding the sentence 'Give it your all GOT7 and fly together with Agahse!', giving a past reference towards their 2016 comeback and the celebration between them, Sky Flower and their fans. Isn't that a sweet support? It seems that Emi had spent quite some time to work on it, let's wish that GOT7 will do very well!

Behind Emi's seemingly innocent facedé! She is really a ert? (2019/02/02).

During a spontanous visit at the Japan's yearly Comiket, a convention, where people are crowding the area to get their hands on products of their favourite doujinshi circle. Therefore it's not uncommon to find a large amount of BL on the market, raging from innocent fluff to hardcore R18 rated comics.

However, an unexpected and very surprising discovery has been made! It seems the saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover' is a very wise and true sentence, since no one would have expected this idol to be here, despite her motherhood. We found Sky Flowers' Emi here in one of the selling booths, but not only that! It seems that she may not only be in the circle, but they might be her own work! Despite the circle's popularity, we were shocked with what we found. We had decided to take a look and the contents certainly weren't for the faint-hearted people.

After having confirmed that Emi seems to actually be part of that doujinshi circle, this discovery made us think. Was everything an act Emi had donve so all these years? Big shock! Sky Flowers' Emi's sudden emotional outburst of rage (2018/12/22).

It has been nearly a year since it has come to light that Emi had adopted and taken care of her late brother's twins for 3 years now. Society slowly accepted this fact and the majority respected her wish for the children to be left out of the media.

However, this doesn't mean that everyone will respect that. One persistent reporter kept following Emi and wanted to take pictures of the twins, but she kept denying his respect and let the children hide their faces. She tried to get a cab to get away from the man, but he didn'T seem to know the words 'give up'. As he called out to the children, trying to make them stop and even tried to grab them. He accidentally made the girl fall, causing her to hurt herself. As if that wasn't enough, he just blatantly told her to get over it, saying it wasn't a big fall and even had took pictures of the crying child.

Of course it's natural for Emi to get mad, but no one would have expected her to react like that. She seemed like a different person from her normal self. Fire seemed to be in her eyes as she picked up the child and gave him to her brother, who had hid her again and tended to the wound. The young mother then marched up to the reporter and ripped his camera from him with a strength, no one would think she has. She proceeded to throw it on the ground, smashing it and trampling on it, completely destroying it. While the man started to yell at her and was about to attack her, she turned the tables on him by flipping him and pinning him to the ground. She then slaps him twice as she starts to yell at him, questioning his sanity and common sense, hurting her children. She even spouted vulgarities, one would never hear from her, she warned him about the consequences if that will happen again. Afterwards she left, leaving dumbfounded bypassers.

GOT7's Mark continues to support Emi by surprising her baskets full of apple treats (2018/12/28).

After her recent scandal with a persistent reporter, Emi has encountered some hardships, but luckily there are still people who continue to stay on her side and support her. For example GOT7's Mark, a close friend of the same label, who visited her during her filming for a new drama, surprising her with several baskets full of apple treats, her favourite kind of dessert. He even brought enough for the other cast and staff. What a close friendship, let's hope this will continue to be in the future as well!

Emi's going to be the new voice of Hani in the new rerun of the old loved animation 'Run, Hani, run' (2019/05/14).

Many years have passed since the old animation was finished, but now it's being renewed. New art, some differences in the plot and new characters, everyone has mixed reactions about this. Some are worried that this will ruin the classic, while some are are excited to see what these changes will bring. Another reason is Emi's first Korean voice acting debut, as lead to boot! It is known that this will not be Emi's first time to voice act, she had her own cartoon with her friends and taken other dubbing jobs in America, even after she debuted, she took various Seiyuu jobs in Japan. People are excited to find out how she will be in Korea.

It's a known fact that Emi is close with GOT7, especially Mark and Junior. However, lately it seems that there's more to the relationship between Mark and Emi. It has been speculated for quite some time that these two are actually a couple. Though neither of them confirmed or denied the relationship. However, it seems there is a new person in this relationship and it's Mark's own group member. Emi's other Sky Flowers members weren't in Korea due to different schedules and filmings, meaning that the Japanese child actress had been staying alone. Her niece and nephew seemed to have been at a friend's. Despite all those facts, Emi still welcomed a man into her home, GOT7's Junior. Was there more to their relationship than it seemed? Is she playing with both of them or is there mmore to the story?

Well, it turns out that there has been a misunderstanding. While it's true that Mark and Emi are dating, she and Junior are just friends. He had been there to help her with some projects. Also, it turns out that the two weren't alone, as not only her niece and nephew were at home, but so were her parents, who had been staying with her during their visit.
