( extra? ) : remi's parents often nag her to dress her age, however, remi just whines about how she just really likes fashion and wants to leave good first impressions. but really, remi just wants to reassure herself, and others that she's a confident, matured young lady who can think for herself and be independent just like how her dressing seems to imply.

curious - just like a lil' smol child, remi always seems to have this spark in her eyes which others her age lost a while ago. she tends to have this urge to want to find out more about everyone and everything around her just like a child. however, now that she's older and constantly bugging her parents with random questions is no longer socially acceptable, Google and siri are her best friends. this trait often causes her some trouble as others may misunderstand her intentions as one of a busybody's, but really, remi is just genuinely curious, she can't help the urge of asking questions though it sometimes put people in awkward situations. this trait works in her advantage however, as teachers tend to favour her since she participates so actively in class by asking a wide range of questions. (whether intelligent and insightful or just plain hilarious and entertaining)  

bold - one for spontaneous activities, remi comes off as a rather confident gal. She ain't afraid to stand up to figures of authority if misunderstood and isn't afraid to try new things. she's that friend everyone loves as a classmate, since she's not afraid to stand up to unreasonable teachers who are just plain bullies. If she ever decided one day that she wanted to go bungee jumping with a group of friends, she'd be first in line and would jump without hesitation (though she'll probably regret it later because she'll only realise mid-jump what a potentially dangerous situation she's in. too late, oops.)  this causes her to be rather reckless at times, but remi is sensible enough not to do something too dumb stuff unless blinded by emotions.
 

sentimental - just like a grandma, remi seems to really like reminscising the past and talking about how much times have changed. she really treasures the little things in life, from the fact that she is blessed enough to still be alive and breathing, to the fact that she has a group of friends who love and care for her, remi is eternally grateful. in fact, if you'd ever given a card or a heartfelt letter to remi, it'd either be pasted somewhere on the wall in her room, or under her bed in her shoebox of memories. her parents sometimes about this by calling her a 'hibernating bear storing her food away for the winter'. but really, remi is just really thankful for everything as this is her way of staying positive. basically, remi just really appreciates the company of her friends and loved ones, though she isn't one to show it off with skinship or through words. though she's known to write the cutest most heartfelt thank you letters and constantly reminds herself to be the best friend she can be by being really helpful and being there for them. 

persistent - some might call her stubborn, but remi's actually pretty loyal and purposeful if you look at it in a positive light. she's one to stick to her word. told her your deepest darkest secret? even if someone bothered her to leak your secret, she'd normally slap you, ask you politely to mind your own damn business. she's mature enough to know how to respect everyones privacy and would not hesitate to tell you off and refuse you more than once. when she's passionate about something, she wouldn't let it go even if you tried. Failed a test? that wouldn't discourage remi, i mean, to her, 'grades are just a number' she wouldn't give up. 

sensitive - be careful what you say around remi, she may not really show it, but she really cares about what her friends think about her. thus, just a little insensitive careless action on her friends part can make remi emo for days. she tends to get upset easily to the point where it makes her appear childish and petty. she's quite the tantrum thrower, especially when things don't go as well as she planned. 

clingy - one thing about being someone who's sentimental is that you tend to hold onto the past, making it hard to accept the current situation and move on. remi always tries her best to think positive of everyone, and others may exploit this trait as she would just overlook the action and worry about it by herself (thus activating remo) remi's good nature has been exploited several times as she tends to stick to friends she's had good memories with, and even if they don't seem to treat her the best, she still clings to them, somehow making her seem almost desperate since she can't let go and accept the fact that her friend is no longer the same good natured one she befriended. 

prideful - confident remi, bold remi, brave remi, prideful remi. This girl somehow holds herself to such high regards that she appears to be an at times. remi has a hardtime saying sorry. she just finds it hard to swallow her pride and put herself in such a vulnerable situation. instead, remi is the type who counts on her friends abilities to get over things quickly so she doesn't have to apologise.this is one of remi's greatest flaw and she has lost quite a number of friends over it. remi just can't get herself to apologise and this really frustrates her friends at times. i mean, sure if remi accidently trips you in the hallway, she'd apologise, but when it comes to social situations where others would just apologise to end the drama, remi would refuse to apologise unless totally neccesary and she is obviously in the wrong. if she insists that she is not wrong in the situation, remi will never in a million years apologise. 

old-fashioned - remi has some pretty old-fashion ideals. here are some things remi still believes in: 
1 ) asking someone out is that guys job. (she grew up with this expectation because really, remi has n o experience with guys and relationships ) 
2 ) sleeping with a spinning fan in an enclosed room will kill you (old korean superstition) 
3 ) shaking your legs will ward off good luck and wealth (remi will literally reach down to stop you from shaking your legs if she sees you doing so) 
4 ) never write anyone's names in red ink or that person will die soon (remi watched death note the anime as a child korean superstition) 

 

( background ) : boo remi was born into a typical korean familiy in bucheon, south korea. remi had a happy and uneventful childhood as far as she could remember. little remi was apparently a rather obedient child. she attended bucheon girl's elementary and middle school since they had a joint campus. being in an all girl school meant that there was a bound to have drama constantly plaguing every clique she joint, but remi didn't really let those things affect her. all she cared about was what her small group of 3 friends thought of her. she understood that she should just enjoy her life and find fun in everything she does since all she was concerned with was making great memories with her friends which she can look back upon and be proud of in the future.
to remi, being in a girl school didn't make much of a difference to her, i mean, she was too young to care about boys, but she couldn't help it, a little part of her was worrying about the possibility of never meeting a boy and ending up alone. BEING IN A GIRL SCHOOL WAS GREAT AND ALL, SHE GOT TO CHANGE OPENLY IN CLASS, AND DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BOYS BEING BULLIES LIKE WHAT SHE'S SEEN IN MOVIES, BUT WHAT THESE MOVIES ALSO BEEN TELLING HER, IS THAT ONE DAY, EVERY GIRL IS GOING TO FIND A PRINCE CHARMING WHO'S GOING TO MAKE HER LIFE A FAIRYTALE AND REMI COULDN'T HELP BUT WORRY THAT AT THE RATE SHE'S GOING, SHE'D FOREVER REMAIN MALE FRIEND-LESS, AND IF SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MALE FRIENDS, HOW COULD SHE FIND HER PRINCE CHARMING?  ALSO, LITTLE REMI MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE developed A MINI-PHOBIA towards BOYS, SHE SOMEHOW FOUND THEM SCARY. REMI CONSIDERED HERSELF ONE OF THE MORE SOCIAL TYPES, BUT SOMETHING ABOUT BOYS JUST MADE HER... ASDFGHJKL. 
THUS, WHEN REMI ENTERED HIGH SCHOOL, SHE WAS AT A LOST. HER 3 CLOSEST FRIENDS FROM MIDDLE AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WENT TO DIFFERENT HIGH SCHOOLS AND SHE WAS left ALONE TO MAKE FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOl. WHAT MORE, THERE WERE BOYS THERE! REMI WAS A MESS. BEING THE SOCIAL BUTTERFLY SHE IS, SHE EASILY MADE FRIENDS WITH most of the girls, BUT SOMEHOW SHE SHUNNED AWAY FROM THE BOYS, EITHER BLUSHING LIKE A FOOL WHENEVER ANY OF THEM TALKED TO HER, OR MAKING EXCUSES FOR HER OTHER FRIENDS TO REPLY HIM INSTEAD. REMI REALLY NEEDS HELP, AND WHEN SHE HEARD OF JOORI'S WEIRD MATCHMAKER SERVICES, SHE MADE THE DECISION TO PLUCK UP HER COURAGE AND APPROACH SAID GIRL. they'd met one day through a mutual friend and somehow got along decently well, though they weren't the closet friends. remi really likes the chill and straightforward vibes she gets off joori though, and this contributed to her ultimately entrusting joori with her tragic non-existant love life : " )

remi is a lucky little kiddo to be born with super chill parents. they are the occasionally embarrasing over-enthusiastic, over protective parents who dote on their only daughter and remi has a rather close, friendly relationship with them. so much so that remi is often asked if her mother is her older sister. they are indirectly one of the reasons why remi has her boy-phobia, since they were the ones who decided to send her to the all girl's school.

Embarrassed, he'd try to salvage the situation by quickly straightening up and plastering the goofiest looking grin on his face, jokingly coughing out, "I guess you could say, i totaly fell for you", totally shocking poor remi speechless.

( status ) : tbh, namjoon thinks remi is a lesbian since she hangs out with girls so much and after a few meetings, remi would start suspecting that namjoon is gay, but really, they're both straight as a pole and both just really awkward cinnamon rolls in general.
