Soiree or Concert? Help TT
I'm in 10th grade already and the school will hold a Soiree for our batch. Last year, we had promenade. (I attended last year)
My mom told me to not go to the party anymore but she will give me money for a concert I really want to attend. It's on July. It's BTS Episode III my gosh! The last time BTS held concert in our country, I was so sad, I'm close to crying since it's impossible for me to go. Now that theyre returning, how can I miss that?! But then, Soiree will surely be a very unforgettable high school memory! Everyone will talk about it and all. It's both once in a lifetime chance! Concerts, yep there are many. But BTS? So close already. Parties, there will be many especially that many of us will turn 18 and I bet many will have their debut party.
I asked for the opinions of my friends. They said, if I'm a normal or typical student, Id choose soiree, otherwise concert.
How 'bout you guys? TT (Thank you for reading lol)
Note: Just so you know...
Prom: a formal party held for older students at the end of the school year, at which there is dancing (last time, we had slow dance and a live band, we partied until midnight)
Soiree: Soiree, pronounced "swah-RAY," is a French word. Soir means "evening" in French, and soiree is literally an "evening party." But this is no Super Bowl party with potato chips and people slouching in easy chairs — a soiree is an elegant affair. Though often held in someone's house, people dress up. There may be music provided by a classical pianist or a jazz combo and fancy food.
