the past made me who i am now

BACKGROUND // she had a fairly normal childhood, her father was often gone for work and her mother owned a flower shop where she would spend hours and hours in there learning about the flowers and the language of the flowers, and as she got older she helped her mother take care of her shop. but when she was 12 her parents divorced, her mother saying she was tired of being alone, her husband rarely there for her or their daughter. surprisnlgy her father agreed and left with out a word much to chaerin's dismay since she adored her father and treasured every moment she had with him. even though he left he still kept in touch with his daughter often through the mail or email, they communicated through that chaerin learned with the language of flowers and that's how they kept in touch but he was been doing this since she was little by sending gifts but never writing until after her parent's divorce did he give his email address so they could write to each other. But when ever she got mail she couldn't send him a thank you card since there was no address and her father felt guilty and in one of the  letters gave chaerin his email address that they could talk. soon her mother remarried again a year later to a guy named mr. do who had a son named kyungsoo. it was awkward for charein since she has known mr. do and kyungsoo when she was little. chaerin and kyungsoo grew up as play mates and best friends that lived next to each other but she knew that mr. do liked her mother but he never made a move on her since he respected that she was still married and when cchaerin's mother got divorced before asking her mother on a date he asked her permission to date her which chaerin gave him since she knew that he would be somone that her mother would rely on and she liked him as well chaerin felt out of place in her new family since she refused to change her last name since it was her last connection to her father but admist her mother's protests her stepfather let her keep it. she slowly got along with her new stepbrother who was similar to her quiet, serious, observant while their parents were loud and out going.

but she was fine with it and when she was 16 she applied to go to japan on an exchange program that her school was having with another school and went there living with a host family that watched her while she was going to school in japan, what changed her life was when she was out late one night picking up some food since she promised her host family that she would make some traditional korean dish for them  and was about to be mugged when someone came in and saved her. and that person was her father, she never knew he could fight since she thought he was a booring old buisness man, not his... fit person that could handle himself. eventraully he told her the truth and explained the reason he was gone so much was because of his job and to keep her and her mother safe since he was an assassin and was in japan for a job. he apologized for giving them grief and chaerin didn't care since she learned the truth that she was so curious about and was relieved that even though it's not a good profession it wasn't that he was doing druhgs or worse. so being a father's girl she wanted to become a spy as well to catch up to her father and to protect those that are defensless since she has seen local gangs attacking shops for money and such even seen threats and violence on those that couldn't pay up or refused, but strangely they never picked her mother's flower shop it may have been her father in his way to keep them safe. so she wanted to do that as well, protect those that are weak.

positive:

calm: chaerin is very calm and rational daughter and always has been, she had to be since her mother was very bubbly and out going but very forgetful. she had to be the calmer one out of them and she took it after her fatehr who was a calm serious person and she admired him. she learned to be calm when she was she was able to see more and learn more blend in you can say so people wouldn't notice her and she liked that and used it to her advantage meaning that she was very silent personality wise and is a silent walker so hardly anyone knew she was in the room or not until she spoke or someone was looking for her making her a cameleon in the crowd blending in and not being seen unless she wanted to be noticed. so being calm she's a very quiet person also a very patient person.

Respondsible: she is a very respondsible person since honesty is her best policy and if she messed up she will take respondsiblity for her mistakes and takes the blame from others to herself. she hardly ever lets anyone else take the blame when it was her fault she will take the punishment. beause of this she can be a bit of a perfectionist working and striving to do her best that makes her very hard working and she never gives up and she works hard to prove herself making her a perfectionist in everything she does.SHE'S VERY GOOD IN WORK ETHIC, VERY GOOD AT GETTING THINGS DONE ALONE rarely with others unfortunately.

observant: as a child she was a quiet child because of that it gave her the chance to observe and analyze things better. So she hasvery good analytic skills making her very keen on details such as observing the situation and knowing what happened and why  and how to handle the situation, or a person knowing what makes them tick, find their weak spots and use them against them. so because of her observant skills she's good at blackmailing people by revealing their secrets that they didn't want anyone to know like they're addicted to drugs or are having an affair and so on. 

NEGATIVE:

BLUNT: SINCE HER POLICY IS HONESTY SHE BELIEVES IN BEING HONEST WHICH MAKES HER VERY DIRECT AND BLUNT PERSON RARELY MINCING HER WORDS. WHY WOULD SHE? SHE RATHER BE HONEST AND HANDLE THE SITUATION HEAD ON THEN TO SKIRT AROUND THE PROBLEM. BECAUSE OF THAT SHE RARELY TALKS SINCE WHEN SHE TALKS SHE'S TOO DIRECT AND CAN HURT OR OFFEND THE OTHER PERSON SO SHE FINDS IT EASIER TO NOT TALK THEN TO TALK SINCE SHE FEELS OFTEN UNCOMOFRTABLE TO MAKE SMALL PLEASANT CONVERSATIONS so she's awkard at this so she rather be blunt then mince her words and is very direct in giving her opinion which is rare.

aloof: she's very reserved person not liking to reveal herself so she keeps a distance from everyone even her family making her look aloof when she's simply just reserved and doens't like people in her buisnes, liking her privacy and that makes her aloof and cold when she doesn't mean to be. sometimes her actions can make her look very confident. she's a confident person but not so much that she's arrogant but she knows her strengths and weaknesses.

reserved: she likes keeping things to herself and rarely likes talking about herself or anything. so she rather listen about others then about herself and is very quiet about her life and past. she's very emotionally reserved often leaving her looking very expressionless and she rarely is emotioal or acts on it. being reserved makes her very analytical and techincal as well but because of that she can adapt to her situations as well.

1. why did you want to be a spy?

So i can catch up to my father and to be strong, I want to be a good spy. I just want to get stronger

 

2. how do you feel about kapae co.?

I heard alot about them. I know that you have an impressive history for making talented spies, also impressive weapons that aren't out yet in other places I'd like to get my hands on them and try them out.  and I wonder how it will be when I join. I hope that I can do my best and rise up the ranks to be a good spy for you.

 

3. what is your best and worst skill?

I'm good more on fighting, poison and agility then communicating. I'm... charming as a rock as you can say but I know I'm a hard worker and I learn quickly. I'm known to finish my missions efficiently and flawlessly meaning that I can do it without getting caught or tracing it back to you guys who were behind the mission. I'm also good at gathering information from an event to a person and more. I know how to recieve information on anything.

 

4. how is your relationship with the girls? do you have anyone you particularly dislike or is not close to? if so, why?

I'm fine with them I just... don't talk to them unless it's mission wise. They're all nice just a bit loud, I'm.... not particularly fond of the Jokester or the worry wort they can be too.... loud or over dramatic in ways.

 

5. you will be trained by agent kim nam joon how do you feel about that?

I don't know, I've heard alot about him but  he's kind of arrogant isn't he? Very charsmiatic and brash at times but he does his job well so it would be interesting to learn from him.I've heard that he has alot of potential.

He's a very charismatic person good with his words and how to use them to charm and trick people into doing things. he's also a ladies man because of his charming and flirty personality ladies are drawn to him like moths to a candle. he;s a very confident person, confident in what he does and knows he'll do well and he's a perfectionist as well and prides himself in doing his missons top notch. He can be a bit brash kind of rude, agorrgant and mr. know it all since he's been a spy since young so he knows things well and because of that he's very cocky and brash and a bit overbearing at times. He's also sometimes reckless when he's angry he does become irrational but it's very rare that he would go into something recklessly unless it's his anger or something interests him. he's an very loud and cheerful sort of guy that likes to smile and make others feel good, he believes you have to be happy AND OPTIMISTIC TO GET THE JOB DONE.

They met on the first day of meeting each other and her impression of him was good since he was quiet and serious but once they were alone that went down the drain when he became flirty and CONFIDENT since he found out he was paired with chaerin and he had noticed that the others seemed to be charmed by him but chaerin....  didn't even glance at him or react in anyway even when they wre alone she was immediately all buisness and he was not. SO SHE'S BEEN EVADING HIS FLIRTATIONS FOCUSED ON TRAINING AND MISSIONS USING THOSE AS A BARRIER BUT NAMJOON IS VERY PERSISTENT AND STUBBORN WHEN HE HAS SOMETHING HE WANTS AND FOR NOW THAT'S CHAERIN.EVENTUALLY CHAERIN AND HE'S CURIOUS ABOUT WHY SHE'S LIKE THAT AND WHY IS SHE SO DETERMINED TO WORK SO HARD.  He would do things to make her angry such as skipping practice, making her do all the work in missions, pretending to make chaerin think she lost something when he had it, swapping her food to sour foods that he found out that she hated, and likes to with dirty jokes and such, the list goes on.

I THINK FOR THEM TO FALL IN LOVE CHAERIN OBSERVES HIM AND NOTICES HOW HARD WORKING AND SERIOUS HE CAN BE AND HOW PASSIONATE HE IS THAT MAKES HER SOWLY GET INTERESTED BUT WHAT REALLY PUSHES HER OVER WAS WHEN HE SAVES HER FROM A GUN SHOT THAT WAS MEANT FOR HER,

NAMJOON AT FIRST WAS AMUSEMENT THAT SHE WOULD BE BLUNT AND NOT CHARMED BY HIS CHARMS AND CURIOUSITY BUT SLOWLY FALLS FOR HER WHEN HE TRIES TO FIND WAYS TO MAKE HER TICK, AS HE WATCHES HER HOW SHE WOULD LOOK AFTER HER MEMBERS QUIETLY AND PLACES THINGS FOR THEM THAT THEY WOULDN'T NOTICE LIKE A WATER BOTTLE, TOWELS, ANYTHING. SHE CARES FOR HER TEAMMATES MORE THEN SHE LETS ON AND THAT INTERRESTS HIM AND HE FELL FOR HER QUIET CHARM AND NOTICED SHE LOVES FLOWERS and she had mentioned breifly that she was the daughter of a florist so that became namjoon's motivation and spent hours online and the library to research the language of flowers snce she sommeones when they would go together for a mission she would mention what the flowers meant if she saw them, namjoon SLOWLY AND SECRETLY STARTED SENDING HER FLOWERS TO CONVEY HIS HONEST FEELING BY USING THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS  BUT THE DAY HE WAS SHOT HE WAS GOING TO REVEAL TO HER THAT IT WAS HIM THAT SENT HER THE FLOWERS AND HAD THE FINAL FLOWER WHICH WAS RED LILIES WHICH MEAN DECLARATION OF HIS LOVE FOR HER.

Chaerin doesn't really like him, she acknowledges his skills but doesn't mean she has to like him as a person since he's a bit overbearing and flirty which is the opposite of her. while she's quiet and serious he's loud and cheerfulAND LIKES GETTING ON HER NERVES. HE TENDS TO AND SEE HOW MUCH IT CAN TAKE TO MAKE HER LASH BACK BUT FOR NOW cHAERIN IS HOLDING HER OWN BUT HER PATIENTIENCE THAT SHE'S VERY WELL KNOWN FOR IS SLOWLY WEARING DOWN, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE SHE LOSES HER TEMPER? nAMJOON WOULD CHARM AND FLIRT HER ONLY FOR HER TO BE BLUNT AND DIRECT FOCUSED ON WORK NOT ON HIS FLIRTING AND THAT AMUSES HIM SINCE ALOT OF PEOPLE FALL FOR HIS CHARMS ALL BUT CHAERIN AND HE'S CURIOUS ABOUT WHY SHE'S LIKE THAT AND WHY IS SHE SO DETERMINED TO WORK SO HARd. -CHAERIN LOVES HIS PET DOG KAI AND NAMJOON USES IT AS A SORT OF TOOL TO USE TO HIS ADVANTAG, she met his dog quute by accident, one day she was at the park wanting to read when a cute little fluffy dog came up to her and she was surprised seeing a cute little dog alone and looked for the tags to call the owner and when she was about to she heard a voice say "I'm sorry my dog took off when I went to clean up after it' making her widen her eyes and looked up and behold there was namjoon who was looking just as surprised holding a small poop bag and she said "that's your dog?" and there on he learned that she loved dogs and often would mention his dog casually like it learned a new trick or got a new outfit or so on.
