appearance — Vale is a giant at 187 cm tall a bit over 6 foot 2 and weighs 64 kg he's on the lighter side but he's very fit due to dancing or sports to keep fit and to counteract all the sweets he eats, he's unusually tall for an asian which often makes him stand out. He likes dying his hair in different colors, hair styles, he likes seeing what he can do in the hair styles. Vale has a slim althetic or dancer's body that is surprisingly graceful for his tall height. He has lightly tanned skin, his hair is currently blonde, with dark brown almond shaped eyes, full aparently by Key kissable lips and his tall height. He has tattoos mostly on his arms and torso with a tattoo peeking from under his collar at his neck and several ear peircings and debating if he should get another one. He sometimes wears eyeliner or soomething along those lines which makes him look more scarier. He doesn't like to talk much since his voice is naturally husky like a smoker's voice and he doesn't smoke. On his left arm are several scars from his cutting episodes even though he stopped it's still there.

Vale is a very hardworking person, he puts 100% in everything he does and over 100% in his passion, baking, he tends to get absorbed into sketching, coming up with new ideas, baking pastries that is his passion. He likes working hard since it shows in his efforts and it makes him happy when people likes his food. He's also the person that is willing to listen to other people's problems, give advice and be there for them. He knows what it's like to be misunderstood or ignored since he was often ignored or bullied for his looks. He did bottle things up and turned to cutting that was until his best friends noticed and talked to him into going to rehab and he got better. So he's compassionate towards those that are bullied or just misunderstood and wants to help in any way he can. He's a gentle person, and very kind which people tend to take advantage of his gentle nature.He's the type that likes to help others even in the shadows, he likes doing his best for others to make them happy even if he gets hurt. Vale is also a very reserved person, he's not the type to express his emotions and tends to show his emotions through actions like his baking you can tell if he's in a good mood or sad by how the food tastes and looks also his body language. He's a person of few words, he doesn't talk much and is pretty rare to hear him talk alot unless it's something he likes then he's in his chatty mode or with his close friends and family he talks more then just one or two sentences. He's a shy person and doesn't mind that his tattoos and peircings make people avoid him which makes him a bit relieved but then sad since they think he's a punk or a rebel when he really isn't. He's also very insecure about his tall height, deep voice which often led people to bully him in middle and high school since he's very shy and timid. Vale is the youngest in the Jeong family, he was born on Halloween with his twin sister Ha-Nui who's older then him by 15 minutes. He was born and raised in  Gyeongju, Korea which is one of the older cities and a historical one often referred as "History without Walls" since it has so many historic buildings, museums, sights. He loves it there and enjoyed going to the sights in his free time with his family. His mother was often gone when he was younger since she was a Prima Ballerina at the Korea National Ballet, so it was mainly his dad and older brother and grandparents that helped raised him, his sister and older brother.

He lived a relatively normal quiet child hood, and would travel to France  in the summers with their parents and that's where he fell in love with the culture of France. He moved to Seoul when he was 14 after their grandparents passed away, his father had opened up a bakery in Seoul that was part of the chain he owned, so they moved. It was different for him it was so busy, and always busy, noisy like it never went to sleep. It used to bother Vale but he got used to it often after school would head to Dilly Dally to get away from everything, he liked working there, he pretty much grew up in the bakery since he was a child and knows how a bakery should work since he did all the positions growing up before settling as a pastry chef/baker since he loved to watch his dad create magic with the desserts and asked him to teach him. So he did and he learned he had a talent for baking and continued to work there after school,and in his free time. 

Vale loves his family and often wishes he was as confident as everyone else is in his family but he's not the one to complain so he's the silent supporter of his family and works hard in his own way. He chose to continue as a Pastry Chef and went to his father's alumni school in France before returning to Korea to finished off his culinary school and majored in art since he thought why not and he liked to draw and often did sketches of desserts in his free time. After graduating at 21 he worked briefly as a full time employee at his father's bakery before applying to work at Macaron Caffe mainly for experience, and to work in another company that wasn't his father' since he didn't like how people said that his father hired him because he was his son and not for his skills so he wanted to prove them worng. So he's a dedicated pastry chef at Macaron Caffe and sometimes can work as a baker due to his experience. He wants to open up his own bakery, but first is content working at Macaron caffe, and he has to get a degree in business. Sunyoul is a fiesty, 19 almost 20 year old student that works as a waiter at Macaron Caffe. First thing first to start Sunyoul has a complext about his slim short height of 172 cm about 5"5 tall, his femimine appearance, the front buck teeth that's prominent when he smiles or talks, he did wear braces but didn't help much other then straighten his teeth. What bugs him most of all is his high voice, it's not annoyingly high just feminine sounding not male sounding at all which often gets customers confuse him as a tom boy girl and not a guy. Despite his fragile delicate appearance lies a strong person that has done martial arts since he was little, very strong, and a sharp tongue that is seen outside of work. He's also a very confident and outspoken person.

Sunyoul is a hard working person, likes doing his best in everything he does, he's not the type to give up so he's very stubborn and hard headed. He's very polite and charming with the guests much to his dismay he's popular among the male customers and has to endure cheesy pick up lines, flirtations and more with a fake smile, and soon has to head to the back to cuss and vent his anger before returning back to his charming sunny facade that he uses for his waiter job. He is an optimistic person likes seeing the positive or silver lining in everything he does. He is also an observant person, since he adores Sherlock Holmes he taught himself how to be observant and finds things amusing how people interact. Like how he can tell Hana has a crush on Chan who's oblivious to her feelings, How Taehyung acts around Aim. It's kind of nauseating how fluffy everything is at work but he's happy for them. He's a very sassy, sharp tongued person when he's not working and isn't afraid to curse or give someone a piece of his mind. He's not afraid of what others think of him as long they know who he is and what he wants. He's unfortunately short tempered which is why there's a limit to how much he can endure on flirting from men or people asking if he's a girl, and often has to excuse himself to go to the back to curse and vent before turning back his sunny waiter personality when he works. Luckily his coworkers are understanding and don't judge him for it only pity him that he has to endure it or about it.

First of all Vale and Sunyoul didn't officially meet until a week later, Vale met Sunyoul when they closed the cafe for the night and Hana said "Hey Vale you haven't met Sunyoul right?" and dragged him over to introduce them. Vale first thing he noticed was how pretty he was and feminine, he honestly thought Sunyoul was a girl that was until he heard the name and Sunyoul said straight out "I'm a boy nice to meet you" he said making Vale look impressed how straight forward he was and not nervous of him despite his appearance. He is very strong due to his dad owning a dojo and he trained since he was little and can defend himself and can handle carrying heavy things. He loves spicy foods, sweets, and adores horror movies or anything scary he likes. His ideal person is someone that is cute, smart, a good cook and baker, loves dogs, fashion and weaker then him which describes Vale but he didn't know he mentioned that was similiar to Vale until afterwards when he and him ended up together. (hehe)

Rather the opposite Sunyoul thought that Vale looked cool with his tattoos and peircings, his voice and height, pretty much everything he wanted since he didn't like his height, voice and looks. He would follow Vale around asking questions about his tattoos, peircings, curious about him and wanting to hear his deep husky voice. Slowly Sunyoul got addicted to his voice and asked straight out for his number so they could hang out much to Vale's surprise that Sunyoul would want to hang out with a quiet boring guy like him. Vale did find Sunyoul cute, how hard working, optimistic he was, how he would work hard and endure the flirting and everything. He would watch him and before he knew it he fell for the small male but didn't say anything not wanting to scare Sunyoul off since he was straight and much younger then him. So he was content just being his friend, but would get jealous when Sunyoul would come to him talking happily if a girl flirted with him, his crush on his sister or he went on a date. Slowly Vale distanced himself from Sunyoul when he got a girlfriend not talking much to him or keeping in touch. Sunyoul didn't notice at first since he was happy to have a girlfriend but thens lowly noticed when he wouldn't get texts or calls from Vale to hang out, or for him to come over to his place to try some food. He would get jealous when he would see Vale talking to Hana, Yoojin, Aim and the others and that they hanged out. He slowly realizes that he missed Vale, his voice, his presence, the calm nature that he had, who didn't judge him for what he liked or did. He realized that he may like Vale, he figured it out since he had a huge crush on Ha-Nui, Vale's twin who looked similar to him, so he broke up with his girlfriend and started to confront his feelings for Vale. 

Sunyoul went to Aim for advice since he liked Taehyun on how to talk to Vale and to see if he really had feelings for him. Aim simply said to look inside himself and how he felt when he saw Vale with other people would help him realize if he had feelings for him or not. So that's what he did, Sunyoul would observe and would feel jealous when someone got too close to Vale like Hana even though she was seeing someone else, he didn't like how close she would be with him or how Vale would make her a treat would get him all jealous. Soon he had enough and confronted Vale telling him straight out that he liked him and didn't like the idea of Vale being flirted with. Sunyoul made the first move going to him and kisses him saying "you may be older then me, but I like you so can we be boyfriends?" and to Sunyoul's surprise Vale blushed embarrassed and flustered but accepted his question. Soon after that they started dating and Sunyoul likes saying when he sees a coworker or someone too cloe to Vale for his liking "Hey paws off of my boyfriend" and goes over to hug Vale's arm. Vale didn't mind how possessive and jealous Sunyoul was finding it cute.

Just to correct people's assumptions Sunyoul is Vale centric doesn't mean  he fancies other guys just Vale.

They watch them surprised at how much Vale talk and how well they get along before Vale innocenlty answers when someone asks "oh he's my hyung" much to Sunyoul's relief who was jealous watching them? Since everyone knows He's a huge fan boy of Taemin's but didn't know they're related is which why he knows alot about Taemin.
• Clubbing they all go to a dance club and gets surprised by who dances well and who doesn't?
• People getting suprised that he speaks French well due to a phone call with his dad or friend from France, or a French tourist came in and they panicked not knowing French so Vale goes over and speaks it fluently with the tourist?
