Why do I write?

Why do I write?

One of the major reasons being that I enjoy doing it. It’s how I express myself. I pour everything out on paper and create a world where there are no limitations. Anything is possible since you are the creator of it all. Your imagination is a unique and powerful thing. Use it to the best of its capabilities.

You can build a city out of gold.

Create an entire new world.

Go to different dimensions.

Time Travel.

Create cures for fatal diseases.

You name it!

The possibilities are endless.

It’s where I dream. It’s a place to escape the troubles of my world for a moment and immerse myself within a new one. I create a world where my subscribers can get lost in and enjoy.

I realize that some of you may not like it, but that’s okay. We all have different tastes and I respect that, but please don’t try to make my imagination conform to yours. I write solely to express myself, not to please every person that comes across my stories.

If you try to please everyone, then where does your happiness go? Your place of escape becomes a place you never want to go to anymore.

Where does that leave you?

That’s why I write to express myself and not to please others.

It brings a bright smile on my face.

It makes me content with myself.

That's all I need.

Writing is something like a story or a poem are way expressing how a person feels or see things. Everyone has their own idea in writing and expressing them. Pleasing other is something writers are usually not meant to do. It's for their imagination run free and wild and letting readers find to what appeals to them.

I enjoy writing bc I love having ideas in my head (even if its all I think about until its in words and it leaves me alone) and putting a small or large story together. Anything is possible when you set your mind into play ~

I agree with you. If you try to make everyone happy you just make yourself miserable. I hope you always write with your imagination, not someone else's.
