Annyeong!! So please give me some of your time because I really need your opinions. So this is one of 3 essays I have to submit to my English teacher, I think I have to read your opinions if ever I still lack of something hahaha. It's a definitive essay by the way.

Story Turned into a Movie

Love is a feeling which makes an individual live. Living means experiencing countless of emotions and things, and love is one of the things that can give a person these kinds of feelings. We all have a purpose in life as God gave us our lives. As human beings and as His children, God wants us to live our life to the fullest, thus, living and loving is a thing we must experience. Life is your story, and love is when your life becomes a movie wherein you are in your dreamland with your princess with some obstacles that you have to go through to finish your journey with her happily.

Love, they say, is blind. And yes, love is blind, it does not look at the outside beauty of an individual and it does not use only its sight. It makes a person feel different because of the mysterious feelings it gives him. As if she is a goddess, loving her imperfections as well as accepting her weaknesses and embracing them as a part of her whole. Love is not blind too, because it can see much more than a man with eyes can. Its inner feelings, love can see it. As dreams and inspirations in life, love can do so much more if one thinks of it as a positive outlook and meaning of life. And when you first see the apple of your eyes, everything gets in slow motion.

Love makes you want to direct a movie. It makes you feel like you want to write the story of your life as well as to control the time. It always starts with the slow motion thing: making that moment feel like a year; wanting her to be by your side always; seeing her smile; and feeling your heart fluttering in every moment you hear her laugh and hear her voice every time she calls your name. But it always ends with the reality that it happens in just a minute. And you wish it happens everyday… but it doesn’t, but that’s an unforgettable moment, just like the start of a beautiful story.

Love is like an action movie wherein you are the hero and she is your princess to save. You want to protect her, even to the point of sacrificing your life to make her feel safe in your arms. You want her to trust you that you will never let her go. But also, a hero has its weaknesses, just like a person, we all have weaknesses. We cannot help but to commit sins. Maybe because she doesn’t make you feel loved, you cannot wait for her for too long, you cannot help but to turn your eyes towards someone who attracts your attention, and so much more reasons to have your heart broken. But everyone deserves a second chance… and millions and millions of chances to be truthful. God doesn’t give sinners only two chances, but millions and millions of chances. It is just in the individual if he will give himself the opportunity to balance back to life, to love again. Maybe not with the same person, but with a better person God will give us.

Love is like a Disney movie which always ends happily, those movies which seem to be perfect as if you have your own paradise wherein you can do all the things you both want, and even writing your own fairytale just to feel perfection. But you do not write the book of your life, God does. And in reality, we don’t feel only happiness. We must also feel pain so we know what happiness is. Similarly, when poisonous apples, aggressive dragons, deadly thorns of a rose, and bitter stepmothers in these Disney movies entered the lives of the princesses before they get their beautiful endings.

Love is life. This is your best friend who is always around. You just have to welcome it in your heart to feel happiness, safety and comfort, pain, jealousy and wrath, and more emotions everyday when you’re with the one you love, with the one whom God has written as your partner in life. And as your best friend, it will also accept you wholly just like what a best friend is. Even if you did failures in your life, have regrets and what-ifs when you didn’t do a certain thing, or lose your face because of the senseless things you did, you have imperfections as the’ you’ that she has to accept. Just like life, just like a best friend, just like your family, they embrace you as you, accepting your skeletons inside your closet.  Remember to be a hero, you receive praises from the princess you saved, a kiss is just fine; her love is enough to make your world go round. And isn’t it wonderful to have a side-kick and a princess combined into that one person you love? Remember to be a prince too, wherein the princess is serving and comforting you just like a wife. Remember to take things from the one you love too, it’s not a give-and-give situation, it’s give-and-take to have a win-win situation, because you will never be happy if you’ll just give and give. Remember to love yourself too, not merely giving her your whole time to make her happy. You are a human being and a child of God, not a machine of the princess you are serving your whole life with. Remember that love is living as yourself, as God wants us to be. And just like every movies, it always starts with a written story. Just like love, it always starts with your life and her life, combined into one, thus having two journeys become one. That’s why you love to feel loved, you are not the only one who has to be working and keeping this love alive.
