clear as glass > Ami is very quiet, and only speaks when she needs to. She can enter a room and stay there for hours without anyone noticing she's there. Ami doesn't like being the center of attention and would always stand at the back or at the side. Though Ami is quiet, she can become quite noisy when she's sparring with her brothers. She is very simple and is easily pleased with things. She's not much into fine dining and luxurious things, and would prefer everything to be simple, not finding the need for overly expensive things. Ami is very kind and compassionate to those around her. When not provoked, Ami is very respectful, polite and kind, even to those whom she is not fond to. She tends to easily sympathize with those in need, and she does everything she can to help them. Her compassion can sometimes be called her weakness as she acts too rashly on her feelings of sympathy that sometimes she gets used or tricked by those around her. Though she has tons of dissatisfactions in her current life, Ami is perfectly aware of her responsibilities and tries her best to fulfill them. She tries her best to join her morals and her responsibilities as one, though it has proven to be a challenge. She tries her best to make her parents proud, but finds herself disappointing them from time to time. Ami is very competitive as she always wants to win, and can even leave with a sulky mood if she loses. Ami tends to be cranky and get irritated at the smallest things. She also tends to become grumpy especially when she doesn't get what she wants. Ami is very stubborn and always fights to get what she wants. She rarely takes 'no' for an answer, and when she finds herself doing what she doesn't like, Ami doesn't fail to let the person who made her do it know that she isn't happy. Ami usually tries to keep shut and stay silent, but there are times when she can't help but open to speak her opinion which may seem rude to some. Ami is very open to what she like and doesn't like, and though she doesn't necessarilly have to let everyone know of her opinions, she can't resist saying her opinions when she gets irritated. Ami has a special place in her heart for music, though she hasn't practiced it in her life. Ami is actually a fun loving girl and she loves to laugh, it's just that not a lot can seem to make her laugh.

hard as stone > Born as the second youngest in her family. One would expect that Ami would be pampered with love and would be spoiled by her parents, which she was. She was given everything she needed, wanted and more. Ami was growing up well and just like what her parents had wanted. She was growing up to be the proper princess; respectful, lady-like, and graceful. It was when Ami had turned eight years old when everything changed. One sudden day, Ami and her family travelled to Sevein to attend a ball. On their way home, a bandit tried to rob their carriage. Though the guards have fought hard to protect them, Ami found herself out of the carriage, and due to her fear, she ran away. For days, her family looked for her, and for days she walked around an unknown place, all alone, frequently crying herself to sleep. It took almost a week before a farmer had found her and welcomed her into his home. There, his wife and son, Changkyun, waited for him, and welcomed Ami as well. The family fed her, clothed her, and let her stay in their home. They repeatedly attempted to find out whom Ami was, not knowing that she was a princess. Ami refused to speak, still scared of everything that has happened. For weeks, Ami lived a life different from hers. She lived in a small cottage, slept in a simple futton, and frequently played with Changkyung, playing games that only boys usually play. It took almost a month till the palace guards found the farmer's house to look for the lost princess, and immediately took her back to her family when they've found her. Her parents rewarded the family for taking of her, and Ami returned to her usual life. Things started to change for Ami after. She didn't enjoy going to balls and parties anymore, and she found herself wanting to play with the boys. She refused and rejected the dolls and expensive things people gave her, and she would always find comfort in hanging out with their maids and cooks. Ami developed a strong fondness of the simple life, and her parents had a hard time trying to return her to her usual self. Being her stubborn self, Ami refused to wear dresses and repeatedly showed her interest in learning sports. Unable to say 'no', her father allowed her to train with her brothers in archery and self-defense, but restricted her from holding a sword. It didn't take too long till her mother showed her disapproval and her pain in Ami's actions, which caused Ami to obey her parents' wishes in becoming a proper princess, not wanting to disappoint them. Ami would then wear dresses, let others put make up on her, attend balls, act like a princess, and do everything she had to make her parents happy. But she didn't give up her simple lifestyle as well, telling their maids to call her 'miss' or simply 'Ami' and not 'princess'. She grew apart from her sisters and she found herself spending more time with her dog than her sisters. Ami also grew a compassionate nature to the poor and those who has no family as she sees herself, when she was seperated from her family, in them.

I woke up like this, flawless > Ami wakes up, takes a shower then goes to school and tries to be invisible. After school, she goes home and joins her brothers in training archery, and tries to sneak past the official trainer and join the swordsmanship training, only to be asked to leave as the training is "only for men". When she can, she spars with her brothers, and would even win at times. Ami goes to her room afterwards and does her homework, or reads, with the support of her dog, Shin. From time to time, instead of tiring herself exercising, Ami would just walk around the castle and walk her dog. At times, she joins Adriana, their housemaid, in volunteering to go to orphanages and play with kids, and would donate anything she can to those in need. On the weekends, she watches plays and hears music be played with her family, which she enjoys, and would sometimes join her brothers in watching some sports tournament. Ami never leaves the castle unless she really needs to, and prefers staying at home.

Kogyeol ; It was the day before a ball was to be held at their home, and as usual everyone was busy preparing for it. Ami's sisters were busy trying on their dresses and preparing theirselves for the ball while her brothers busy with their own preparations as well. Ami couldn't stand the happenings at their home and decided to sneak out of the castle and into town where a fun fair was being held, but not before putting on a disguise. There, she saw Kogyeol performing on the streets with tons of people watching him. Kogyeol noticed her due to her awkwardness with so many people around her and decided to introduce himself after his performance. Ami refused at first, not wanting to risk anyone finding out who she was, but Kogyeol didn't stop bugging her and Ami found herself spending the whole night with him. Ami snuck out of the castle numerous times after to spend time with him, but was disappointed when she snuck out one day to find out he had left the town. Years after, she met him again at Sevein only to find out that Kogyeol was the bestfriend of her groom to be.
Wooshin ; Wooshin and Ami knew of each others existence but never thought of each other that much. They only met at balls and parties, and only shared a bow with each other. The only time they took much thought on one another when they were set to be wed and got to know each other as time passed by.

Kogyeol ; Bubbly, funny and charismatic. This passionate performer loves to be in the center of attention, only if everyone is having fun. He loves to sing and dance, and just love making people happy. He is very carefree and optimistic, always finding a bright side to everything and can always be seen with a smile on his face. Most people describe his personality as 'odd' yet charming as he always seem to the unexpected and weird things. He is quite intelligent in both book smarts and street smarts but doesn't give much attention to intelligence and just focuses on being happy. Kogyeol is very confident and is very friendly, easily making friends. He is quite the troublemaker, not afraid to break the rules. He just loves playing around and even play tricks on people, but when needed to, he can be very responsible. Kogyeol is very loyal to those whom are close to him and would always fight for them.
Wooshin ; The Perfect Prince. Quite reserved, respectful, charismatic, smart and strong. Many swoon at his manly charms and intelligence. He has the looks, the class, and the position to make any girl fall for him. Wooshin is quite confident yet tends to keep quiet most of the time. Wooshin is very tough and will definitely stand up and talk back when he needs to. To some, he seems like an angel, but beneath his angelic features is a personality like no other. Those whom are close to him calls him a 'devil' as he likes teasing and bullying those whom are close to him. He is quite affectionate to those whom he loves and can seem quite cold to those he doesn't know very well. Wooshin is very mischievous, causing trouble for his own amusement. He is quite the perfectionist as he always want the best in everything. His main goal is to fulfill his duties as a prince and has devoted his life in becoming the perfect prince.
