Hayeon is loyal and trustworthy; a friend can tell her secrets and Hayeon will never tell anyone else. She is nice and friendly, but she will never be the one who approaches someone first. She could be shy, and is a bit awkward at social situations. She tends to stay away from huge parties and other social gatherings, unless she is required to come, or the host is a really close friend of hers, or a lot of her friends would come. On stage, though, it's like she is a different person. She can be very charismatic and charming on stage. She hates disappointing others, especially her parents. Laughter is easy to come by for her; her friends love being with her because, even when the joke is lame, Hayeon finds it funny (so it kinda boosts their self-esteem).
She is quick-tempered and she easily gets irritated, especially when a room or a work place is untidy, but she also doesn't like cleaning up (she thinks it's a waste of precious time). However, she tends to be the one to do it anyway, mostly because no one else wanted to (or because she is the maknae [and only girl] with two older brothers in the family and her parents are both working, so she was always the one who had to do the cleaning at home). She gets frustrated when things don't go her way. She nags a lot (even to her older brothers). Sometimes she says things without thinking them through, and hurts others because of this even if she doesn't mean to. She easily gets jealous. She tends to backstab people she doesn't like. Some people call her "two-faced," because when she's with someone she doesn't like, she could be friendly and all smiles, but when said person is not with her, she rants about him/her to her close friends. She can be a bit violent; she used to pick fights when she was a little girl. Now that she's grown up, however, she tries to stay away from arguments, unless she's sure about what she's gonna say. She hates being wrong. Some people think she's scary, especially when she's not smiling (it's like she gives off a scary aura).
Son Hayeon was born on April 8, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. She has two older brothers, who were very fond of her. They call her "Nuni" as a sign of affection because of her huge eyes. She grew up in a happy and loving family. Her brothers were always at the top of their respective classes. Being the children of a university professor and a high school teacher, they were expected to be at the top 3, at the very least. Hayeon didn't meet those expectations; she was always the 7th in her class (12th in her grade). Everyone (except her parents & brothers) kept telling her to "be like her brothers." For some time, Hayeon hated her brothers because she hates being compared to other people, but her brothers were always supportive and encouraging, she couldn't keep hating them. She still doesn't like being in their shadows all the time, so she wanted to make a name for herself.
When she was 13, her brother Dongwoon was set to debut the following year. This inspired her to make song & dance covers and upload them on YouTube. When she was 15, she auditioned for JYPE and was accepted, but was eliminated from the pool of trainees after 7 months. The same thing happened for four years: she would audition for a company, would get accepted, and would get eliminated after a few months. The longest she stayed in one company for that four years was 10 months. She was starting to lose hope, until Dongwoon showed a Faith Ent. staff a video of Hayeon singing and dancing, which started her career with Faith Entertainment. She was skeptical at first, because she knows she would be compared a lot to her brother again, especially since they were in the same company, but she decided to trust in herself and in her own skills. (Also, part of what urged her to join Faith Ent. was because she has a huge crush on Yoseob, but of course she wouldn't admit that to anyone, especially to Dongwoon. He'd tell Yoseob.)

He is cute, cheerful, and bubbly. He is gentle and thoughtful and cares about others a lot, especially trainees in their company, because he knows how hard being a trainee is. He is really passionate with what he does, and does everything to the best of his ability. He is a bit impatient and sensitive; he easily gets hurt. He is also jealous. He is quite annoying at times. Sometimes he can be very loud and sometimes he can be really quiet.
Hayeon and Yoseob had known each other even before Yoseob's debut because Hayeon is Dongwoon's sister and he (DW) usually invites her to watch their practices. Yoseob treats her like a little sister (partly because she is DW's little sis and partly because her name is also close with his (YS's) older sister's name (Haeyeon)). Because of this, he is very protective of her and takes care of her more than how he takes care of other trainees (e.g. buys her food, medicine when she is sick, etc). When he has free time, he watches Hayeon practice, making her feel a bit uncomfortable, but he gives her advice on how to improve her singing and dancing. He gets jealous when Hayeon and Junhyung write songs together, and tries to distract them most of the time.
