JYP had wanted Star to be in the music video of Big Bang and he had lied to SM that he wanted Star to be in a music video for his future boy group that he was creating and of course SM said yes (they had no choice since JYP had told SM when she had became a trainee for them that he was her god father.) but they didn't know that she would be part of Big Bang's music video. the history and the people of my life

BACKGROUND ☆ 

On February 14, 1991 Bituin Tala Marie Kyong Manahan - Yang was born at a hospital in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines to a full Korean father named Yang Hyun-Suk and a full Filipino mother named Divina Bisay Manahan. She was born into a broken family, her mother and father went their separate ways before she was born and when her brother was just 4 years old. Her mother raised them in the Filipino culture until she was just 3 years old it was enough for her to pick up the language then they moved to Beijing, China to live with her aunt Mulan and her daughters Jingfei and Lijuan. There she fell in love with dancing and new languages so her aunt Mulan signed her up for ballet and jazz classes with her cousins Jingfei and Lijuan and hired her English, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin tutors so she can learn the languages. Dancing took Star to the path of wanting to be choreographer but Mulan and Divina wanted her to be a doctor and a CEO of her own business but Star didn't want to be those at all. She was four years old when she moved to New York City, New York with her aunt, mom, two cousins and her older brother because her mother had found out she had stage four cancer and her aunt said that it was better if they went to New York for her to get better. Moving to New York, she found her love for music when she saw the Broadway signs. She would sing any song she heard on the radio and Mulan and Divina instantly knew that she wanted to be part of the industry and they couldn't change her mind at all because set herself wanting to be an idol and be just like her father. They knew that one day that if she became an idol, Hyun-Suk might not know who she is but they hoped that one day that father and daughter would be reunited.

Around five years old, her mother wanted her aunt Mulan to adopt Bituin and Danilo because she was scared of that government might break them apart. Mulan didn't agree to it at first but she knew it would be the best because they didn't want Hyun-Suk to give up his career for Bituin and continue to live his dream. Around that age she learned from her mother that her father is Yang Hyun-Suk a famous idol in South Korea. Her mother Divina told her that if they had their way they would of been still together but his career was in the way but she said that she never regretted falling in love with her father Hyun-Suk because he gave one beautiful angel which was her. She never really thought her father was a bad guy for leaving them, she always thought that her father just needed to think about his career just to give them a better future. At six years old, Mulan and Divina signed up Bituin and Danilo to learn karate because they thought it would be a good bonding experience for the siblings. Bituin really liked karate but not as much as she loved singing, she told her mom and her aunt Mulan that she wanted to stop with karate and learn more about singing. They agreed on letting her giving up karate for singing, during her first singing lesson the teacher was amazed by her voice including her mother and aunt as well were surprised by her voice. Everything ended when she was just seven years old, her mother Divina lost her battle to cancer, she was heartbroken losing her best friend and her strength. She promised herself that she would make her mom proud by chasing her dreams and making it reality and reuniting with her dad.

She moved to Seoul, South Korea when she was just eight years old, her aunt Mulan thought it would be nice for her, Danilo, Maja and her three cousins to know about their Korean heritage. Bituin saw how beautiful Seoul was and smiled because this is where her mother and father's love story started. She was sad that her mother wasn't here with her to experience the beautiful sights of Seoul again. She knew that her mother always wanted to go back to Seoul to seek forgiveness from her father for leaving him. She hoped that one day she would meet her father and tell him personally what her mother would of said to him. Growing up without her mother was pretty hard, she was glad that she still had her aunt Mulan who she called 'mama'. She wanted to chase her dreams to become an idol just for her mother and find her father and tell him who she was. But she didn't know what label to go to at all until she got noticed by a representative from Cube Entertainment, they saw how beautiful she was and asked her if she wanted to be a trainee for Cube and she instantly said yes and soon she knew it her life was going to change forever. Few years after training in Cube,the CEO of Cube knew that Charity was too talented for Cube and he wanted her to transfer to SM since he knew SM can challenge her more than she can then being in Cube, she was sad because she didn't want to leave Cube at all because of all the friends she had made in Cube but he promised her that he would help her out any way that he can since he took her in and treated her as his own daughter. She began to audition for SM Entertainment with the help of the CEO of Cube. She auditioned with singing 'Jewel Song' by BOA and danced Candy by HOT, Lee Soo Man instantly fell in love with her voice and agreed that she should be in SM Entertainment. The CEO of Cube was proud of her and gave her a hug and told her that she would change the world and when she arrived to SM, Lee Soo Man smiled and gave her a hug and welcomed her to the family.

FAMILY ☆ 

— Mother, Divina Bisay Manahan ☆ 28(41) ☆ Former Actress/Model in the Philippines and Seoul ☆ Decreased ☆ Divina is full filipino that was born in Manila, Philippines but she was raised in Seoul, South Korea. Her mother was the first filipino model in South Korea that was well loved by the country. Divina had always been in love with Yang Hyun-Suk when she was growing up, he was her neighborhood oppa that was really close to Divina and they became best friends right away. Everyone had thought that they would end up together when they grew older but it didn't really happen. Lee Jae-Hwa who is Danilo's father well in love with Divina but she was never in love with him at all since she was in love with Hyun-Suk when Divina turned down Jae-Hwa, he had gotten mad and he her and left her pregnant with Danilo. She was heartbroken and was scared of being a single mother but Hyun-Suk had promised her that he would always be there for her and the child no matter what happened. Soon Hyun-Suk and Divina well in love and they had planned their future together and how many kids they had wanted in the future but everything changed because he wanted to focus more on his debut with Seo Taiji and Boys then having a family. When they broke up it tore Divina into pieces, she wanted forever with him but he had chose his career more than having a family. When she found out she was pregnant with his child, she had decided to retire from the Korean industry and she moved to the Philippines with her family where she gave birth to Star and raised Danilo for awhile. Growing up, Star always looked up to her mother because of how strong her mother was. She had admired her mother for being a single parent and working in the Filipino industry and taking care of her and her older brother. Her mother had turned away from the industry when she found out that she had cancer and she just couldn't the pressure of the media finding out and wanted to be a good mother to Danilo and Star until she had to go. Star will forever love and miss her because, Divina had always believed in her dreams and hoped that she will make her dreams a reality. When Divina died, Star thought she had lost her best friend because Divina was always there for her but she had promised herself that she would do everything she can to make her dreams a reality and find her father and tell him why Divina had left for the Philippines and never told him about her but also she knew that her mother would never get to see Star and Hyun-Suk reunite at all.

— Father, Yang Hyun-Suk ☆ 45 ☆ CEO of YG Entertainment ☆ alive ☆ Divina's first and only true love, he had given up his family for his career because he wanted to give Divina and their future children a better future but it didn't happen since Divina ran off to the Philippines without a single word to him at all. So he had focused on Seo Taiji and Boys and tried to forget his heartache with Divina. He would always think about Divina whenever they would sing 'To You' because he had dedicated that song to her and hopefully whereever she was that she would think about him and their happy times together. It took awhile for him to be in love again because of what had happened to him and Divina. He never really knew that Divina was pregnant with his child at all, but he had always wondered if Divina told him that she was pregnant with hils child would his life be different now. Even if he is happily married now, he still thinks about Divina now and then, he will always love her and that love would never fade away at all because Divina was of course his first love and first girl he truly loved. When he first Star, she was still a trainee for SM Entertainment and she was the leading lady for Big Bang's music video 'Haru Haru', she instantly reminded him of young version of Divina and he would see how Star and Divina were much a like. He didn't know that Star was his daughter at all but Star would just remind him of Divina a lot. When he had found out that Jin-Kyong and Ji-Yong instantly became best friends, he had to protect him from Jin-Kyong because he didn't want her to break his heart like Divina broke his heart at all also the fact that she was a trainee for SM Entertainment because he always thought that SM artist and trainees were just too stuck up. Years passed but Jin-Kyong really changed his mind about her, he saw how loving she was and sweet she was. He saw how Jin-Kyong really cared for Ji-Yong and how much she appericated his friendship. When he found out that Jin-Kyong and Ji-Yong were dating, he wasn't too happy at all because he just didn't like her for Ji-Yong. He didn't know why at first but when he gotten to know her better and her life story, he finally realized that he judge her so fast. As he gotten to know her better, he saw her as a daughter he never had at all. Sure he already had a daughter but she reminded him alot like him and Divina when they were younger and sometimes he would question if Jin-Kyong is his daughter or not.

— Older Half Brother, Danilo Manahan aka Lee Kang-Dae ☆ 28 ☆ Fromer manager of Wonder Girls and manager of Got7 ☆ Alive ☆ Star and Danilo may not have the same father at all but it doesn't mean nothing to him at all. Star will always be his little sister, he is very protective over her, sure she may not be the maknae anymore in the family but to him, she will always be the maknae because they've grown up together and much more closer than Danilo is to Maja but it doesn't mean Danilo loves Maja less than Star. He doesn't have favoritism with his siblings he loves them all the same but he is much protective of Star because of her not having her father around at all. He had a father figure which was JYP and sure JYP can be a father figure to Star as well but he just wants the best for his sister. He would of wanted to be a manager for SM but he knew that if he was put to be the manager for Ethereal, he would of been more over protective to Star than he is now. He wants her to learn and fly but if ever she does fall down and get hurt no matter what he will always be there for his baby sister always.

When he first transferred to SM, he did not get along with Kris at all because he always thought Kris was such a flirt and he would always make Star cry so he would always start an arguement with Kris even if he knew Kris was his sunbae, he just didn't like how Kris would treat her at all. Even if he is younger than her, he would always want her happy then being sad.

So she doesn't have much memories of Divina at all but she is very close to Star and she looks up to her so much. When she was just 11, she was a trainee under YG but two years later she became a trainee under SM. She is happy to be under the same label as her older sister. She wants to be just like Star. She is one of Star's best friends, she has always been there for her sister no matter what she's been going through. She has never really liked Kris for her sister because he left her crying and heartbroken when he left for China, she really likes G-Dragon for her sister because he always knows how to make her older sister happy.

Jeremy and Mayumi are Star's world, she would do anything for them and will always give them everything. She is the best aunt she can be to them because she loves them with her whole heart. She just can't see her life without them at all.

HOW YOU TWO MET ☆  Kris and Star met when they were just trainees in SM, she was coming back from the taping of Big Bang's music video 'Haru Haru', she was heading back to the training room to practice on her singing and dancing and he had noticed her coming back from taping and he quietly followed her to the training room she was headed too as he heard her sing, he had instantly fell in love with her voice and always thought she was an angel with that singing voice she had. He had immediately fell in love with her from that moment on but she never fell in love with him instantly at all, she had thought he was her stalker always following her where ever she went but sometimes he would just show up to her training room and just surprise her. During the times she was training, he would always love to say hi to her and sometimes make her mad since he would always pick on her for no reason and she would always tell him that they would never even become friends because how different they were but it all changed they started to become close and become good friends with one another it literally took their friends and their fellow labelmates and trainees by surprise that they became close with one another. HOW YOU TWO MET ☆  Jin-Kyong and Ji-Yong both met each other during when she was the leading lady for Big Bang's music video 'Haru Haru', she was a trainee under SM Entertainment waiting to debut as an idol pretty soon and he was the leader of the popular and well loved boy group Big Bang. No one really thought that these two would ever become friends at all but they did, he was the one who introduced himself to Jin-Kyong and he would always try to make her feel comfortable around set and around other people so she wouldn't be scared at all. He instantly saw himself in her because how hardworking she was and how she started to being a trainee in SM and try to get used to a different label enviroment from her last entertainment label she was trainee for. He would always give her advices and always tell to keep fighting because he knew one day that she would be well loved idol one day and make her dreams a reality. The staff who were working on Big Bang's music video was surprised that a trainee for SM was actually a leading lady for a YG boy group music video but what they didn't know that JYP her god father had lied to SM that Jin-Kyong would be a leading lady for one of his upcoming boy groups in JYP and begged SM if she could be the leading lady and SM agreed to it but they never knew that she was going to be the leading lady for YG's music video at all. The other members of Big Bang saw how close Jin-Kyong and Ji-Yong got and they would always make fun of them that one day they would end up together and become husband and wife but Ji-Yong and her would always decline that because they just saw each other as best friends and knew that they would never fall for one another at all. When YG and SM realized that these two were becoming best friends and they would often hang out with one another it actually scared both labels because SM didn't want her to ruin their plans about her and Kris getting together and YG just didn't want Ji-Yong to be friends with someone who was not in YG at all. Both labels had tried to break their friendship but it never did work at all because they would always find a way to hang out with one another. When he had found out that Kris had broken up with her via weibo, he was pissed off at Kris for breaking his best friend's heart and he wanted to hurt him because he left his best friend crying and heartbroken. He would always check up on her so he would know that she was okay and that she didn't do anything stupid at all.
