style — She isn't really pale but she is a little bit tan and short brown hair sometimes she would dye her hair (when it comes to comebacks or if she ever feels crazy to change her hair color). She's skinny, some say she looks like a stick but she really isn't at all but she loves to eat (it's just so weird to fans that she never gains weight at all). She seems tall but she really isn't, she thinks she's the shortest (because she's 5'4) from all the members in Reason. Her style is really depends what mood she is in sometimes she would dress all girly but then she has her mood when she would dress really casual at times. Her type of shoe that she would wear is sometimes sneakers or flats it just depends on what she wears or in her mood. She doesn't have any tattoos at all but she is planning to get some pretty soon

She's is really a sweet, bubbly and loving girl that everyone adores. She's so passionate about her career that she always wants to learn more about it and learn more just for her and her fans. She's very caring towards her family, friends and of course her members in Reason. She's known to be the Park Chanyeol of Reasons, fans love seeing how outgoing she is during her vlogs on YouTube, on stage and also on variety shows. She's loud, yes she's loud not loud that you can tell her to shut up but loud that makes you laugh and brighten up your day. She's one of the nicest girls you can ever meet and one of nicest idols you can ever meet. She's hardworking and passionate on what she does when it comes to practice she'll stay until 2 in the morning just to make it perfect just for the fans.
Every person has their flaws and she has hers as well. She's childish, she always acts like a kid and sometimes she isn't really mature on what is going on at times. Since she's part of the industry it made her really insecure about her self. She would always be insecure about her weight or the way she looks but her members and the people she love keep telling her she's perfect the way she is. She's sensitive, she easily cries so when someone brings the subject mom or death she easily gets sensitive and cries about it. She's stubborn as hell, she always wants everything her way and she will never admit she is wrong even if she is. She's blunt, whenever she is in an awkward situation of she feels awkward she would literally blurt out what she feels. She's sassy, she's kind of the fashionista of Reason and sometimes she would tell them what to where and it gets on their nerves. She's cold but she's only cold when she first meet people but that's it. She's a perfectionist, she always wants everything to be perfect.

She was initially in JYP because of her looks but they realized her talent as an artist. Though she wasn't disliked, she was bullied because of her mother dying when she was young and her coming from a broken home. So she liked to stick with a few people in her clan it was much better than hanging out with a ton of friends. She loved being in JYP because she was close to some of her fellow trainees and her sunbaes but JYP felt that she needed more training that can bring out her true talents as an artist. He instantly called his good friend Yang Hyun-Suk about her and sent over a video of her singing and dancing also sent over one of her compositions as well. YG instantly saw the talent in her and said that he would take her away from JYP. When JYP told her all about it she was wondering why her own god father had to switch her out to a different label but she was excited for the new environment.
When she transferred to YG, she felt right at home. She didn't know why but she felt like she belonged here. She was greeted by some of her sunbaes in the industry and she felt more secure. The training period was so much harder than in JYP, there were times that she wanted to quit because she couldn't handle it at all but she would stay in YG until 1 or 2 am in the morning to perfect her dancing or singing. YG saw how dedicated she was and gave her the mission that he gave G-Dragon and she had to write songs every week so she would stay later than any other trainee but she did it because she wanted to prove to YG that she could handle it. background — On February 14, 1991 Bituin Tala Marie Kyong Zhao-Lee was born at a hospital in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines to a full Korean father named Lee Jung Jae and a Chinese-Filipino mother named Divina Bisay Zhao. She was born into a broken family, her mother and father went their separate ways before she was born and when her brother was just 4 years old. Her mother raised them in the Filipino culture until she was just 3 years old it was enough for her to pick up the language then they moved to Beijing, China to live with her aunt Mulan and her daughters Jingfei and Lijuan. There she fell in love with dancing and new languages so her aunt Mulan signed her up for ballet and jazz classes with her cousins Jingfei and Lijuan and hired her English, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin tutors so she can learn the languages. Dancing took Star to the path of wanting to be choreographer but Mulan and Divina wanted her to be a doctor and a CEO of her own business but Star didn't want to be those at all. She was four years old when she moved to New York City, New York with her aunt, mom, two cousins and her older brother because her mother had found out she had stage four cancer and her aunt said that it was better if they went to New York for her to get better. Moving to New York, she found her love for music when she saw the Broadway signs. She would sing any song she heard on the radio and Mulan and Divina instantly knew that she wanted to be part of the industry and they couldn't change her mind at all because set herself wanting to be an idol and be just like her father. They knew that one day that if she became an idol, Jung Jae might not know who she is but they hoped that one day that father and daughter would be reunited.
Around five years old, her mother wanted her aunt Mulan to adopt Bituin and Danilo because she was scared of that government might break them apart. Mulan didn't agree to it at first but she knew it would be the best because they didn't want Jung-Jae to give up his career for Bituin and continue to live his dream. Around that age she learned from her mother that her father is Lee Jung-Jae a famous actor in South Korea. Her mother Divina told her that if they had their way they would of been still together but his career was in the way but she said that she never regretted falling in love with her father Jung-Jae because he gave one beautiful angel which was her. She never really thought her father was a bad guy for leaving them, she always thought that her father just needed to think about his career just to give them a better future. At six years old, Mulan and Divina signed up Bituin and Danilo to learn karate because they thought it would be a good bonding experience for the siblings. Bituin fell in love with karate, she would always practice at home and sometimes Mulan was scared that she would break something at home so Mulan had to tell her to practice her ballet then her karate. Everything ended when she was just seven years old, her mother Divina lost her battle to cancer, she was heartbroken losing her best friend and her strength. She promised herself that she would make her mom proud by chasing her dreams and making it reality and reuniting with her dad.
She moved to Seoul, South Korea when she was just eight years old, her aunt Mulan thought it would be nice for her, Danilo and her two cousins to know about their Korean heritage. Bituin saw how beautiful Seoul was and smiled because this is where her mother and father's love story started. She was sad that her mother wasn't here with her to experience the beautiful sights of Seoul again. She knew that her mother always wanted to go back to Seoul to seek forgiveness from her father for leaving him. She hoped that one day she would meet her father and tell him personally what her mother would of said to him. Growing up without her mother was pretty hard, she was glad that she still had her aunt Mulan who she called 'mama'. She wanted to chase her dreams to become an idol just for her mother and find her father and tell him who she was. But she didn't know what label to go to at all until she got noticed by a representative from JYP Entertainment, they saw how beautiful she was and asked her if she wanted to be a trainee for JYP and she instantly said yes and soon she knew it her life was going to change forever.

relationship  — When she first got into YG, the first person who welcomed her to YG was Ji-yong himself. He instantly saw himself in her and wanted to become friends with her. She felt shy every time she was around G-Dragon and she never felt that way when she was with Seulong at all. He would always wait for her when her training was over and they would go out and grab something to eat and get to know each other more. During her training period, she would stay late to write songs or either practice her dancing and he would just watch her and just give her some tips. Their friendship grew, she would always hang out with him in his studio, whenever she was around him, he would always fake that he was sick so she could take care of him and he would always do that to her whenever he saw her and to only her which made his best friend Taeyang laughed because he knew that Ji-yong had a big crush on Star but wouldn't even tell her. During her trainee days, Ji-yong had his bad days, he passed by the practice center and he saw Star smile everything changed. He would go to her whenever he had a bad day and he would just see her smile and her ageyo would show instantly everything felt was gone. She became his source of happiness. While she was training, he would ask their common friend Dara to tell him what was happiness in Tagalog and she told him it was ligaya and he couldn't wait to call her that. Months turn into years and when their YG Family expected for them to end up together it didn't happen. He ended up with Japanese model named Kiko and Star just ended being his best friend who still has feelings for him. She hides it pretty well that she's jealous but she wishes she could tell him how she truly feels but she knows it's to late for her.
"Ligaya I'm not feeling well. Can you take care of me?" Ji-yong asked as he laid down on the couch in the recording studio faking his sickness.
"Oppa, I'm sorry I can't take care of you today. I'm going out tonight with Seulong oppa for dinner." Star said as she was writing a new song for Reasons. "It's been awhile since I last hung out with him. It made me miss him so much."
"But don't you have taping tomorrow for your debut stage for Reason? You shouldn't even be going out at night because of your upcoming debut."
"Actually it's okay because his apartment is close to the Reason's dorm and plus he wants to celebrate the success of my debut and his solo career."
"So is he your boyfriend then Ligaya because you rather be with him then with me. Why is that Ligaya do you like him more than me."
"No but he is someone dear to my heart that I don't ever want to lose. Plus why do you care oppa you already have Kiko."
"Don't say that.... Ligaya you know you mean the world to me."
