— jessica was never the one to be the school's outgoing social butterfly since she was young. the lack of attention from both of her parents made jessica grow up into a shy, reserved and introverted person. she preferred to be by herself and sit at the corner of the room, silently observing. since she was used to be alone, she tends to distance herself from others. making only a few close friends here and there, jessica wasn't the type to hang around in those large groups of friends. meeting new people always brought the shyness out of her. she often doesn't speak unless spoken to and she doesn't like approaching people she doesn't know. but when you get to know her, she'll definitely warm up to you with no doubt.
— due to not being as social in her childhood years, jessica was never the one who could take a compliment easily. she just didn't know how to take one, resulting her in a flustered state. she would only reply back with an even better compliment she could think of. she couldn't help but feel like she was being put up there whenever someone complimented her, and she wasn't a very big fan of that.

BACKGROUND ⚜ jessica was born on cold day of january and she was the result of not wearing a . she was the only reason her father married her mother anyway. since her father was a pastor, god's presence in jessica's life was total. living in her house would mean going to a lot of church activities, not being able to watch the smurfs or noddy not being able to listen to any music that wasn't gospel.
when jessica was 9, her father left home and never came back. she remembers that he slammed the door behind him so hard that it almost shook the whole house. her mother died that day. because, even though jessica was the only reason why her parents married, her mother loved her father and when he left, he took her heart with him. for the next 3 years, she watched her mother get drunk in vodka bottles and depression pills. at school, jessica didn't had any friends and but her grades were the best among the class. even though she had good grades, jessica was the outcast of the class and was always made fun of. due to her thicker body, she was target of many insults and hate. at the age of 13, jessica spent 12 hours in the hospital waiting to see if her sister was going to be okay, after the boy she loved , told her he didn't loved her anymore. there was so much blood when jessica found her in the cold bathroom floor. her mother decided to give her a puppy at the age 14 so she could have something to entertain herself. but soon, jessica and the dog became inseparable. her mother had never seen such strong bound between a person and a dog before. in the same year jessica received the puppy, her childhood best friend killed herself after jessica stayed up for two nights straight with her while she cried, shrieked and threw up on her bathroom's toilet because her boyfriend left her for his ex. that was when jessica finally broke down. first her mother, then her sister and now her best friend, jessica felt her ground falling under her feet. now that the only person who could give her strenght to keep going was gone, jessica felt as she couldn't take it anymore. she was tired of holding everyone up when she was the only who was falling hard. she was tired of the bullies, the insults and the hate agaisnt her. she was tired of trying so god damn hard on school and not receiving any compliment. she was tired of the people around her, she was tired of the world. she was tired of life. so she tried to kill herself.
after the failed attempt of killing herself, jessica come back home, finding kika, her dog, waiting for her. as soon as kika saw jessica, she run to her and start jumping on top of her, while kissing her and yapping. jessica had never seen kika this happy before. so jessica promised herself she would never leave kika alone again. if jessica was gone, who would be there to take care of kika? at the age of 15, jessica had a substitute in English because her teacher was getting divorced and couldn't handle coming out of bed. when she came back she was smiling but her hands shook so hard that you could see that something was broken inside. and when something's broken, it isn't hard to fix. that year, jessica almost failed the year. the girl who used to be the best in her class, almost failed.
after seeing so many heartbreaks thorought her life, jessica is too smart to believe love exists. PRESENT ⚜ at the age of 17, jessica moved to south korea, searching for the father she hasn't seen in years with her sister and kika. she lives in a small house with two small rooms, one bathroom, kitchen and a living room. even though she's been searching for her father for year without any results, she's still searching.
