Traits: passionate, introvert, shy, quiet, absent-minded

Soomi is pretty passionate in her opinion. Even though so many people told her that dancing wasn't the best career, she always knew that she was meant to memorize dance steps and groove on the floor. Dancing seemed to be part of her blood. The moment she hears music, she's always imagining how she would dance to it and what kind of steps she would take to emphasize the song and her move. If she really likes something, she'll take it all the way through, despite the difficulties.

Soomi knows that she's not exactly the best person to be an idol. She doesn't really like the spotlight and prefers to hide in the shadows. Whether it's because of the heat from the light or because she can't see any of the audience's faces, standing on stage at the center of attention isn't exactly her favorite thing to do. Not only that, but she's really shy around boys. Going to an all-girl's school made boys seems like a foreign topic to her. She has absolutely no idea how to get close to guys. Her cheeks would usually go red and she would avoid looking at them. If she can, she'd let someone else do all the talking with them while she's left hiding behind someone else.

Most of the times, Soomi tends to be distracted with her thoughts. Whether it's thinking of dance routines or trying to memorize her lines, she's always thinking about something else. Some people mistaken this as being rude, but she's really just absent-minded and can only focus on one particular thing. The people she works with always tries to help her focus on the important thing: being on stage. That's why falling in love or getting emotional can affect Soomi is a negative way.

Soomi was born in Seoul, South Korea as the second child. She has two doting parents and an older brother . She grew up with quite a normal childhood. Since kindergarden, she loved dancing in front of her parents. Even though it was just jumping up and down, she still liked seeing people laugh and clap for her. It made her feel kind of special, as if she had some kind of unique talent that her parents would be proud of.

In middle school and high school, she attended an all-girl's school. Reasons? 1) Her mother attended an all-girl's school and found it comfortable to attend there; and 2) her older brother was bullied once and her father didn't want that happening to her. She had a pretty good school life, though. However, attending an all-girl's school meant that she had little to none connections with boys. The most time she spent with a guy was her older brother, who was constantly mistakened to be her boyfriend. 

Soomi wasn't sure what she wanted to be when she grew up, but one event in high school helped her narrow down her path. When she was dancing at her school festival, an S.M. scout came over and asked her to audition. She did, and she was taken in as a trainee. At first, she was thinking of becoming a back-up dancer who worked for S.M., or a dance instructor at the company. Her goal was to not debut in S.M. at all. In fact, she thought that if she stayed quiet and didn't try hard during inspections, then she wouldn't debut at all! Unfortunately, it seemed like she was good enough and debuted in Time.

Sehun is just as quiet as Soomi is, except since he already debuted, he's a lot more social compared to how he was before. He's more close with the noonas in S.M. Entertainment (more specifically SNSD), but he's still close with some girls of his age and younger than him. At first glance, people just see him as a cold-hearted boy, but in reality, he's just shy. He's socially awkward, can't make the right faces most of the time, and has no adorable charm in him. Some people claim that he sounds like an old grandpa when he raps on stage, which he uses to humor people (but it doesn't sound very funny). He's always practicing, especially how to control his breath when he's dancing. With EXO's tough choreography, he knows that he needs to step up his game and make sure that he's at his best with his other members.

Taehyun is as sassy as the world will let him be. He's got just enough sass to annoy s in Winner and other people. Coming from YG Entertainment, he's cocky and sometimes get too full of himself. Despite this, he's really afraid of everyone else, especially the talented people out there. He knows that he has much to improve, and he always lets words get to him. He tries too hard to make people laugh or get people to like him. 

Soomi and Sehun first met when her group was introducing themselves to EXO. She was (unfortunately) left alone with Sehun when her members found something better to do and when the rest of EXO were busy preparing themselves. They had a few small talks in the beginning, but eventually they began to keep in touch by texting or calling. Eventually, Sehun became one of her best friends in the entertainment industry. Whenever they can, they'd get ice cream together or get coffee in the morning. Soomi becomes aware of her feelings when she realizes that she and him have similar traits and understand each other best. Sehun discovers that he has feelings for her later, but that's when he sees Soomi talking to one of her member's love interest (ooh, drama~). At first he thinks it's because he's acting botherly, then he thinks it's because he just doesn't want the best friend position to be taken away from him, but later understand that he has feelings for her. If they ever do date, they will date in secret.

Soomi and Taehyun met before they debuted. He was one of the guys that Soomi was able to strike up a conversation with back in high school. The two only met when Taehyun and his friends came to visit her school when her school held up a school festival. At first, Taehyun was hitting on her because of a dare he had with his friends, and Soomi awkwardly mistakened him for actually liking him. When Taehyun successfully did the dare, he made sure to keep contact with Soomi, promising her that he'd give her a signed album when he debuts as an apology for messing up her mind. The two became somewhat good friends, and remained to be good friends when both got on stage and debuted. It's difficult for these two to meet up, so whenever they do meet up, they tend to spend a couple of hours together. Sometimes they'd get in disguise and go watch a movie, or other times they'd take a walk at night and talk about any gossips in the entertainment business.
