appearance » With sharp, dazzling blue eyes, fair skin, pale blond hair, and light pink pout, Ivona looks like a gem that can only be stared at. Her eyes are constantly alert and can cut into your soul if you look at them for too long. Her elbow length hair looks soft enough to touch, but she'd probably hex you if you did that. It is often in loose waves, framing her face and laying on her back. She stands at 178 centimeters, slim and statuesque, often intimidating others with her height. She seems beautiful enough to be a queen at first glance, but if one looks close enough, they will notice that she has a faded scar running from her left eyebrow and all the way to the back of her neck. 

style » Ivona's clothing choices can often be summarized as: fabulous over comfortable. She endures the pain of high heels-although she is already a little gargantuan height-wise-, skin tight pencil skirts, stiff blouses, etc. So basically she looks like a business woman most of the time, but there are times when she does allow herself to a teensy-weensy amount of comfort. The word "casual" is not in her fashion vocabulary. She refuses to be caught wearing a plain t-shirt with jeans. Never. Never in a billion years. Even her pajamas make her look fit enough to be a runway model. And she despises cheap clothing that try to look expensive. Newsflash! It's not working. Her clothes are of the highest quality. Conceited-Ivona is vain to the point where she is almost borderline narcisstic. She takes great pride in herself. She thinks she has it all--no she knows she has it all--beauty, brains, and an actual personality! She holds herself to a very high standard, and thinks of herself as higher than most of the people she sees. Because of her (over)confident nature, most people tend to, I wouldn't say hate, but if there were a petition to try all the Cruciatus Curses on her, a lot of people would sign it. She always has to make sure she looks better than everyone ele, get bettergrades than everyone, etc. She will not allow herself to be surpassed. Everything she does is perfect, well, that's what she believes. The simple idea of her ever making a mistake makes her laugh at how stupid it is. It's just not possible  to her. A lot of people don't agree with her decisions most of the time, but she, being the prideful person that she is, just ignores them. She doesn't take critism very well either. She believes herself to be almost perfect and finds it odd that some people would think otherwise when they are nowhere near her level.

Indifferent-Zero a.k.a the amount of craps Ivona gives about you and your opinions. She was not put on this earth to please everyone, and she knows it. Crap, she can't even please herself sometimes, how can she please you? You can talk and blab in her face about how awful she is and she would most likely just get bored and leave you mid-sentence. ", , ,"--she has heard it all. You're not special. She actually finds it amusing that people actually think their words affect her. So go ahead, insult her all you want, but you're probably just going to waste your breath so.... She also doesn't care for other people's problems either. She isn't nosy and doesn't care for gossip. Nosing into other people's personal lives aren't really her thing, and she absolutely hates it when people gossip around her.

 

 

"The fact that you just sit there and whine instead of doing something about your problems disgusts me."

 

Insensitive-Ivona rarely ever feels sympathy for herself or for others. She can't understand why people would just rather wallow in their own self-pity instead of actually doing something to solve their problems. People who pity themselves and cry all over the place are simply just attention-seekers to her. She finds it absolutely revolting. Most people don't come to her for comfort, but for the very few who do, they're not going to get all the hugs and pats on the back like they want from her. Instead, they're going to receive Ivona's infamous harsh reality checks and scolding--no sugar-coating included. Because of her insensitive nature, she tends to be quite judgmental of people who come to her telling her about their mistakes and the dumb scenarios they walk themselves into. Most people would undertstand, and laugh, but she would just scowl and leave the conversation. She can't deal with excuses, tears, or whining. It just makes her irritated.

Dedicated--Most people would think that someone like Ivona would be very lazy, making everybody else do the work for her. When in reality, she is the polar opposite of lazy. She works her off for what she wants, and nothing can stop her.Even sickness can't stop her from working towards what she wants. And plus, if she makes everyone else do her work for her, it's not really her success, is it? Plus, she doesn't feel like giving credit to anybody else, really. She knows that perfection is not born, it's made--and perfection is exactly what she strives for. Waking up at 4 in the morning to work out for 5 hours is nothing to her. Neither is doing all her homework early and getting excellent grades. She does all of this for herself--nobody else (contrary to other people's beliefs). She rarely ever has any fun in her life. She thinks it's useless to have fun when you can be doing something to be the best you can be at something. She hates laziness with all her heart and her soul. It's stupid and the fact that so many people relate to it disgusts her, and the fact that the people who are passionate and want to work hard for what they want are considered uptight flabbergasts her. She absolutely hates it.

Witty--Ivona might as well have a picture of herself next to the definition of witty. This girl thinks fast and can put you in your place even faster. Ivona usually doesn't really bother with other people, but if someone decides to swerve in her lane, she will happily tell them to stay in theirs. She usually just ignores and laughs at these type of people, but sometimes they just need a ever-so-friendly reminder who their dealing with. Not once has she lost a verbal fight with someone. She plays it calm, classy, and clever. She doesn't resort to direct insults very often. Instead, she attacks with various amounts of shades at a time. She refuses to let anyone else have the last word. She won't lose. Period. Her wittiness also makes her kind of fun to hang around, if you can ignore how arrogant she is. She always has some joking, witty retort to anyone who jokingly tries to catch her off guard. She is surprisingly quite humorous and can make you laugh with her clever and snide remarks about some things. 

 

 

"Simply knowing things and getting decent grades does not define an intelligent person."

 

Intelligent-The one thing that saved her from getting into Slytherin. Her ability to analyze everything and notice every detail is what puts her at the top of every student. She has knowledge, but she knows that that alone does not make you any smarter than anybody else. She is quick on her feet and is able to calculate her way out of any bad situation. She notices everything, nothing can get past her. Instead of keeping and storing everything inside her head like most "smart" students, she uses everything she learns to her advantage. She makes sure to remember everything and forget nothing she learns. Who knows? She might find it useful someday.

Unforthcoming--Ivona isn't exactly...introverted. She socializes just fine, and she is fine with conversing with others as long as they aren't stupid. She just tends to smoothly change the subject when people ask her about her personal life. Either that, or she just tries to avoid it altogether. She has a lot of  personal info that she would rather keep to herself than share with people. Because the point of keeping your secrets to yourself is so that people don't use that information to destroy you, and having people ruining you is just too much of risk to take. She doesn't even tell her friends her secrets. She doesn't trust anyone enough to tell them. She hates lying, but she will do so if it keeps her secrets hidden. She reveals what she wants to be seen, and hides what she doesn't. And if people do pester her about her secretive nature, she will happily remind them to stay in their own business.

 

 

 

"Nobody in this school can have that dress besides me."

 

Greedy--Ivona must have everything that other people can't have or afford. As soon as a new line of expensive something is released, she must get it before everybody else. She wants everything and nothing can stop her from getting it. She hates it whenever someone has something expensive that she doesn't have already. If that happens, she will do whatever it takes to get something better. Once she has her eyes set on something, not even a steel wall can get her to give up on it.Too much is never ever enough for her. She has 167 lipsticks in her makeup collection--and she still wants more. She wants better grades, more attention from her teachers, more clothes, more makeup, just more, more, more, more. Nothing less than what she wants can ever satisfy her. She always has to be superior to everybody else. Always. That's the price to pay for perfection, right?

 

 

Animal-Loving--Ivona always had a love for animals (except birds). Even when she lived in Prague, she would go around and play with her neighbors' cats and dogs. She just has a secret soft spot for them. She can't get mad at them for anything, even if they scratch her or bite her. Animals amaze her because they are so much more complex than people give them credit for. A lot of people think they're dumb, but Ivona knows better. She knows animals can be as clever and intelligent, if not more, than a human being. And that's why she admires them so much. Plus, animals have never betrayed her like humans have.

background » Once upon a time, Ivona's biological mother was . She was only 15 years old and she already had a child. People ridiculed her and judged her, but she loved Ivona all the same. Ivona was ironically the best thing that ever happened to her. She thanked God every single day for blessing her with this child, and she would spend hours on end singing to her little baby. Ivona had a stable chidhood. She went to school, got excellent grades, had a few friends, and her mom worked two jobs while her grandma took care of her. All was well.

 

Then one day, when Ivona was 8, her grandmother was looking for her and found her in the garden. Her grandmother thought she was talking to someone, and was about to remind her that she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers. But as she got closer, she realized that Ivona wasn't to another person.

 

She was talking to a squirrel as if it were a human being.

 

Her grandmother ignored this. She convinced herself that it was just Ivona having an imagination. However, later that day, her mother came home from work and found Ivona in the garden again. This time, instead of talking to animals, Ivona was playing with the leaves on the tree. Except, whenever she touched a leaf, it would slowly turn from it's normal golden, autumn color into a vibrant green one would usually see in the summer. Ivona told her mother that she didn't like how the leaves were dying, so she helped them live again.

 

At that moment, her mother began insulting her. She called Ivona a demon, an incarnate of satan, a freakshow of a child, etc. Then before she knew it, Ivona was told that she was never welcome in the house again and to leave immediatedly out of Prague before being angrily thrown out, the door slammed in her face. Ivona spent the night banging the door, and screaming for someone to let her in until her hands were raw and bloody. She didn't understand why she was thrown out. She thought her mother would be proud of her for helping the leaves live again. No one came out of their houses to help her. Word spread quickly around their neighborhood. Ivona was then known as the demon child, and nobody wanted to help the demon child. She sobbed herself to sleep, laying against the door. 

 

When she woke up, she found herself in another person's home. She later met her new little brother Jonathon and had all of her questions answered. Where was she? In the United Kingdom in a city called Windsor. What is she doing here? She was taken here so that she be raised as a witch and so that she could be taught to use her power to her fullest potential even before she went to Hogwarts. Could she ever go home? She could, but her grandmother and her mother wouldn't remember who she was. They had been brainwashed. How can they understand her when she isn't even speaking English? And how can she understand them? They cast a spell over her so that she could understand them and so that they could understand her. It was quite a troublesome spell.  

 

She found out that she now had a new mother as well. Her new mother, Audrey Clayton, was a very rich auror working in the ministry of magic, and had volunteered to take Ivona under her wing after the ministry had heard about a young witch being banished from her home. They have heard about wizards and witches being thrown out of their homes before because of their true identity. They usually had plenty of volunteers, both wizards and muggles who were willing to take a witch or wizard into their home. But in Ivona's case, there were no more volunteers who were willing to foster yet another witch. So, Audrey secretly took her in as her child, promising to raise her, changing Ivona's last name from Dobransky to Clayton. 

 

Ivona spent an entire year hating herself for who she was, hating her little brother, hating her new mother, hating England, basically hating everything. She felt worthless and awfully insecure about herself. She would look down at the floor and fiddle with her fingers whenever someone spoke to her, she wouldn't talk to anybody unless she really had to, and she would immediatedly leave the room whenever someone spoke of magic. 

 

She hated herself. Her self-esteem was at an all time low. Her brother taught her how to speak English, since casting the translating spell all the time would be tedious. She proved to be diligent, even if she felt miserable most of the time. She still felt awful, despite learning something new. That was until her little brother started doing magic whenever she was near so that she would get interested in it. At first, she ignored him, and then she started showing interest in it, asking him questions and letting him teach her how to do magic. Then soon enough, she was better than him at it, and started trying out new spells by herself. She loved the feeling of being confident and being better than someone else. She felt like she was on top of the world. She vowed to never let anyone surpass her and take away her confidence like her mother had. She promised to never lose. She also vowed to never feel sorry for herself since it made her feel so terrible. 

 

Ivona had everything she wanted and asked for. Audrey was rich, after all. She lived her new life drowning in riches and glamour. Savoring every luxurious moment that passed her way. From here, her arrogance grew and grew until it was larger than life. She loved that she could have whatever she wanted with a snap of her fingers. 

 

 When Ivona went to Hogwarts, she wasn't all that popular. A lot of people admired her beauty and her brains and would try to talk to her, only to discover how annoying her arrogant and secretive nature was. Everybody knew her, but most people didn't like her very much. Though, there were a few witches and wizards who loved her witty and confident personality, finding it refreshing amongst the boringly polite nature of their peers. She soared in her studies, surpassing everybody else. Hence, how she got the nickname, the second Hermione Granger. So, despite some annoying people here and there, Ivona loved Hogwarts. It was the place where she could be better than everybody and they couldn't do a thing a

about it.

Audrey gets along with Ivona well enough. She loves Ivona as her own child, though finds her arrogance quite annoying at times. She is a single mom, so she sometimes struggles to take care of both of her children sometimes, but she manages. Although, she wishes she was home more often so that she could spend more time with her kids. Audrey is calm and composed. Nothing can phase her, and if it can, she won't show it. She is the rational thinker in times of crisis, and can easily solve many problems.

Jonathon loves Ivona, but, like his mom, get's annoyed with her sometimes. Her ego sets him off sometimes, but he lets it slip since he knew of her past life. Like most siblings, they annoy each other and enjoy getting on each other's nerves at times, but in the end they love each other. Jonathon gets jealous of Ivona's grades sometimes, but that just makes him strive to work harder and beat her someday even if she doubts that it will ever happen. Jonathon is laid-back and curious about everything. Sometimes, a little too curious. His nosiness sometimes gets him in trouble and makes him hard to get along with at times. He just can't help it.

Sunhee is more like Ivona's frenemie than friend. She is one of the people who find Ivona's personality more refreshing than those of her peers, but she hates the fact that Ivona gathers more attention than her. Worst thing is, Ivona doesn't even care about that attention. Her and Sunhee often get into arguments about this, but they always make uo so it doesn't really matter. Sunhee loves Ivona to bits, but can't help but be secretly jealous of Ivona. Everything she is good at, Ivona is better at. So, she sometimes hates Ivona for that, and becomes irritable to the point where she picks a fight with Ivona for stupid reasons. Sunhee is what most people would call an attention-seeker. She craves the spotlight more than anything else, and often goes out of her way to make people notice her. Talking really loudly, dressing scandalously whenever she can, anything to get people to pay attention.

Isabelle really gets along well with Ivona. They rarely ever have arguments as opposed to Sunhee's relationship with Ivona. Isabelle understands Ivona's strive for perfection. There isn't anything wrong to her about wanting to reach your fullest potential. Unlike many others, Isabelle doesn't get peeved at Ivona's greed and arrogance. She understands that that's just Ivona, and it's not going to change. Isabelle will do anything for Ivona, including defending her when Ivona isn't there to defend herself. Ivona is one feisty girl and doesn't really think twice before she does something. She is known for standing up for people and causing quite a few scenes here and there. Isabelle just does what she feels like, often not thinking about her actions. Which is why she gets detention so often.

Charlotte is more of a nuisance to Ivona then a rival. Ivona honestly could care less about her, but Charlotte does everything she can to try to mess with Ivona. Charlotte was used to being the smartest and the prettiest wherever she went. People acknowledged her as such, until Ivona came along and had to ruin her parade. She has basically made it her life's goal to ruin Ivona'a reputation of being one of the smartest and the prettiest people in the whole school. She often challenges Ivona, works her off trying to beat her, then loses to Ivona, who barely even has to try to beat Charlotte. Charlotte is often described as flirtatious. She flirts with multiple boys at once, often leading them on for fun before dropping them later when they prove to bore her. People nickname her as Hogwart's , but she really doesn't care. She actually takes pride in the ability she has over boys.

Weird--Jungkook often says and does a lot of strange things. People think he is just being funny before they realize he is actually being serious. Sometimes he says and does things that don't even make sense to most people. He randomly makes comments about the weirdest things. He often comes up with really strange theories and does even stranger things to test them. For example. one time he thought that the floors were haunted, so he purposefully slips and falls on the floor to provoke the supposed ghosts in them. When that failed, he tried casting spells on them. He ended blowing up the floor and was successful only in getting detention for the next 2 weeks. He knows he is more odd than most people, but he doesn't really care. Like Ivona, he doesn't really bother with what people think about him. 

 

 

"Revenge is never going to get me anywhere."

 

Forgiving--The one thing that Jungkook has that Ivona wish she had--the ability to forgive. Jungkook rarely ever holds grudges against anyone. He does get mad when people do him wrong, but he rarely acts upon it. He does get annoyed at times, but he just moves on with his life. He wants to surround himself with positivity at all times, and he knows he can't do that when he is just angry and bitter all the time. This good, kind side of him also makes him a little vulnerable and naive. He is too merciful at times and he can't really tell if someone is just using him or not. People often fake being mad just so he feels guilty and does whatever they tell him to do.

Sincere--Jungkook is known for his genuine, sincere nature. He really does mean everything he says. He rarely ever has an ulterior motive behind what he says or does. He just says it because it's true and it's how he feels. Jungkook is horrible at lying anyways so that's out of the question for him. He isn't fake. If he acts like he cares, he really does care. No bullcrap, no hidden motive behind it. Just sincerity all around.  A lot of people don't believe his sincerity, so he does everything he can to prove it to them, even if they tell him to stop. He won't stop until you believe how sincere he is.

Ivona always knew Jungkook as that really nice, but really weird kid who always got into detention because always broke something trying to test out his "theories". Ivona always secretly praised him for not caring about what people thought, even though she hated his lazy side. Jungkook didn't like how overconfident Ivona was, but he did like how dedicated she was in everything she did. 

The Ravenclaws and the Hufflepuffs had Charms together one time in their 4th year and Jungkook came in late and sat in the only seat available--the one to Ivona's left. Jungkook proved to be very tired and kept on bobbing his head up and down during class. Ivona didn't really mind him until he leaned on her shoulder and started snuggling on her arm. They both got detention that day. Jungkook was used to it, but Ivona wasn't and she was peeved. Jungkook decided to try and be friendly towards her despite her irritated and snide remarks toward him. Ivona held a grudge against him for getting her into detention when she didn't do anything wrong. So, they didn't really start off as friends because of that. But Jungkook, being the sweetheart he is, felt really guilty about her taking some of his blame. So he would buy her gifts and write her cards apologizing over and over again to the point where Ivona just got so annoyed that she agreed to forgive him. 

Ivona thought that Jungkook would leave her alone now, but he was just getting started. Jungkook started taking, not necessarily an attraction, but an interest to Ivona. He was curious as to what was underneath that tough exterior. So he would greet her and talk to her whenever he could, not really caring how people reacted to him talking with her so easily. At first, she was aloof and rude to him, genuinely annoyed by his sheer presence near her. But he wouldn't stop, and soon enough, he grew on Ivona to the point where she was being some what nice to him too. He still annoyed her a lot, and she still often questioned his weird "theories" about some things, but she found that she genuinely liked him as a friend. They tease each other, try annoy each other, debate about Jungkook's theories with each other, walk in the Forbidden Forest with each other, etc. Jungkook soon became Ivona's closest friend. Sunhee and Isabelle were great and all, but they just felt more like those friends you just hang out with once in while rather than friends where you're so close you can speak to each other without saying anything. Ivona only felt the latter with Jungkook. Ivona is always alert for what might happen next and arrogant around other people, but she is completely relaxed and comfortable around Jungkook. Jungkook always shows more of his weird side whenever he is with Ivona. Saying strange things out of nowhere, casting weird spells he made up on inanimate objects, only to set them on fire a few seconds later, and Ivona having to extinguish the fire before they both got in trouble. Their friendship was a little different from everybody elses. 

Even though, Jungkook was the closest friend Ivona had, she still didn't feel comfortable about telling him about her past life and showing him her more vulnerable side with animals that aren't birds. Everytime she tries to tell him about it, there is just a side of her that just can't seem to fully trust him not to use her secrets to his advantage. She knows how naive and sincere he is, but she just can't seem to get the words out. Plus, she just started to like him. No matter how kind he is, he is human. She normally doesn't really give two craps about what people think about her, but she does care about what he thinks of her. She is afraid that he'll judge her because of her past and then she'll lose him because of it.

Jungkook notices Ivona's distrust towards him, and he wants to fix that. He likes Ivona too, and he wants to know more about her. He just wants her to trust him like he trusts her. He does everything he can to prove that he would never hurt her intentionally, and that she could confide in him whenever she needed to. Jungkook is still currently working on trying to get Ivona to trust him.

comments/suggestions » So excited for this fic! Ivona is in 7th year and is still 17 because she has a late birthday, unless I'm wrong about that. And sorry I went all story-mode on some parts. I just like to be detailed at times. I don't know what happened with the love interest section. It is a little spaced out, and I tried to fix, but I couldn't. I'm sorry! Please don't hex me! I also think you should take your time with this fic instead of trying to update quickly. Harry Potter is quite popular,but even so, try not to be too pressured by it all. One awesome chapter always beats 6 y chapters. Always.
