I am so disappointed with Tao.

I was happy for Tao when he decicded to leave EXO to heal his injuries. I think that Idols work to hard and they deserve rest. So I was happy for Tao. I feel that SM learnt that fighting with people who want to leave is not the best option and so they let Tao leave peacefully despite Tao leaving under similar reasons as Luhan and Kris. (Health and other.) So when the news broke out earlier this year i thought that there would be less drama and both parties could come to a mutual agreement. Tao was able to get jobs in China and support himself while SM focused on EXO and other artist such as Shinee.

But then one day I was checking my weibo account and saw the Tao was having a solo album, I was like wait whoa! Not a good Idea! I think you should rethink that! Other member who had left, lived a rather low profile life, I mean it was like 3 months (or so) before Luhans was even spotted out in public. So when the first promotional picture came out, one word stood out for me and that was the word COMEBACK! That just rubbed me the wrong way because techinically Tao never debuted as a solo artist and now he is having a "comeback'? That just made me feel that he was indirectly using EXO's popularity to boost himself. At this point I was not happy with Tao. When mini album came out I wasn't even planning on listening to it at first but curiosity got the best of me and I ended up listening to T.A.O. His vocals were good, but I didn't really like where the lyrics are going. Soon after he started rapping I stop listening to the song. I didn't think much about it until the next day when I went on instagram and saw the full english (translate) version, and it fully comfirmed my fears. I feel like the lyrics are a bit disrespectful to every person who had helped him get to where he is now (fans, SM, EXO members and other people behind the scene.) And I was and still am disappointed. 

There is nothing I can do except hope that things get better and not worse. 

PS: this is not a post to hate on Tao in anyway, but rather to express my own personal disappointment (as the title suggests) that there is still drama despite me hoping that there isnt.
