What is roleplay? Please explain this to me...

I have been seeing a lot of it lately around AFF and my curiousity has just had it. I haven't opened one yet because I want to know what it is first. What is roleplay???? What do they mean by slots open? And reserving idolss? What? Help me. Please explain. :(

roleplay is like you pretend to be an idol and talk to other idols ( which is other people pretend to be idols, too )
reserving idols meaning you comment down below and reserve the idol you want to roleplay as, so no one else can be her/him. like if you want to be krystal then you reserve krystal, no one else can reserve krystal after that. then you creat your account, set up the idol's profile then get ready to roleplay!
hm, slots open, i've been roleplaying for almost one year now lol but not really sure, i think that means the idol you want to be is free to be roleplayed so you can go on and reserve him/her.
