Today I woke up to a pleasant surprise! My Fic about Ohm had breached the 1000 reads marker :)
In less than 2 weeks ^^

Writing here is going a bit slow. Or rather - I'm not content with the stuff I come up with. I've done a "Hemingway" as well so a bit extra work in sorting
out and typing the stuff. (Ernest Hemingway always wrote all his books by pen, on paper.)

For those of you who follow my original novel - Elias' story - I think I know what the problem is.
The chapter (6) I'm writing on, which I guess I have to have there since I've built up a bit for it, is one I don't find very fun to write. It's about Christmas
and I reeeeaaaaally don't like Christmas... :D So I find it a little bit hard to write it in a good and interesting way when I don't like the subject :P hahaha
The coming two after that, though, that are two chapters that belong together, I am looking forward to writing and I have inspiration for those. ^^

But about half of ch 6 is written, I just need to figure out the rest before i can get to ch 7 and 8, which I am itching to write :P
But I can say as much that the bonehead Elias is about to come to some insights pretty soon :P
Which will lead us to "present time" in his recount of what's happened during late autumn and winter. I hope this isn't something that I've been too
unclear on - that he's thinking back and re-telling these chapters so far... In case it is - I need to go back and clarify a little bit.
(Perhaps switching in past and present tense in telling, won't be enough to make it completely clear.)

Ohm's story is also a bit tricky - the same here - this chapter is one I want there, because of some elements in it, but I have a bit of a hard time making
a good storyline for it without getting repetitive. Ch 4 and 5 are clear for me and I know what I'm going to write about, but ch 3 feels a bit like a filler so
far and I don't like that fact - I don't want to write "unnecessary" chapters that have no real content. I'll keep messing with it and see if I can try to toss
some thoughts and ideas with a couple of my writer colleagues (check their stories - bamburn04 and JaeMi1) to get the inspiration going - that usually
helps all of us. ^^


Phun's story is on backburner until I've finished the other two. But it will come out before next weeks episodes of the series (I don't want to taint my
story by watching the actual episodes in the series.) The two episodes this weekend will cover my chapter "Break" and probably also the beginning of
"Catch."

But I've promised the hardcore Elias fans to get out at least one chapter this week and that will probably be Elias' story :)
But I will do my best to get chapters out for all three stories :)
Today, it's Friday and still only 12:45 pm so I have all day ;) I need to get my pen and notebook (which by the way is gorgeous - hot pink leopard metallic
cover - how cool is that? ^^) or my PC smoking and get something done. Because it's weekend soon! (Which means that it's Love Sick on tv and I will go
all delulu and sail off to that pink and sparkly LS-Land <3 )

Today, it's Midsummer's Eve here in Sweden - an ancient pagan holiday which basically doesn't mean all that much anymore... more than that people
get really ing drunk, eat kinda disgusting food (Pickled herring; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickled_herring - you have no idea how disgusting
that is... I have tasted it once in my life and I will never do it again. Like chewing a piece of really sour and weird tasting piece of rubber... EWWWW!)
But the year's first harvested, tiny potatoes are so good! Served with sourcream and chives <3
And of course Swedish strawberries with cream... <3 Swedish Strawberries are like... the best in the world... super sweet and yummy <3 )
And also, they have a maypole and traditional dances and ...

In case you haven't figured out - Elias' alienation from the Swedish society is my own... :P My background is less exotic than his, since I'm from a
Finnish family and Finns have a culture that's very similar to Sweden's, but I still feel that many Swedish customs, dishes and stuff, are really weird for
me, even though I'm born and have lived in Sweden all of my life... (Although, the most of those criteria go for the Finnish customs and dishes as well...
second generation immigrant "syndrome"... :P Never fully at home in any culture nor country...)

Well, I'm gonna stop my blabbering (another thing that Elias does, that is essentially Me ;) )
