Her fashion style would be something simple, but would show she's mature since she knows that she wouldn't fit in with a cutesy type of concept, but ofocurse she would be fine with any other ones. For example hip hop. While she's dancing she would use something that's baggy but at the same time something that won't bother her while dancing, something baggy so she can enjoy the breeze of the wind while dancing. Although during the Winter she would using something warm for the outer like a comfy sweater while in the inside she would wear something that's tight but moveable in, so she can conserve heat but also not bother her. She is very arrogant and competitive, she would flaunt her abilities without stopping and showing her true talents, if it gets her to win and be succesful she'll do it. She doesn't like to lose, to her if she does she would practice on that field non-stop to perfect it and try her best. She can be short - tempered towards others, like her brother, especially if something special goes totally wrong. Her answers to questions can also be blunt, and hurtful so if you think a question may end up getting a hurtful answer to you or another person if she does just remember she doesn't mean to be rude to you.
She may have alot of negatives/flaws but everyone always has positives. She is really a warm-hearted person despite her appearance, towards kids and people she trusts is when she'll usually be calm and herself, the side she doesn't really show to public. She's pretty clumsy and derpy, liking kids, yeah she also acts like one too, she'll be derpy even without noticing during her free time, she likes to make weird faces and make people smile despite what everyone thinks. Life of a trainee for Seyoung was harsh, just how she expected. Training wasn't going to be easly like a butterfly taking a stroll in the garden. In fact for practices, she sometimes had to stay up day and night helping choose and write the song, practicing her dances and singing the lyrics. At first she had a hard time memorising lyrics, since she couldn't remember it well or it was because there was no flow to the song. She had barely any time for family time or homework, because she wanted to follow her dream, and achieve it just like her brother, so, she store her phone/electronic devices in a box, put away inside the closet which she would only use after she debuted. When she started her training, it was during her last year of high school too. It was difficult maintaining her grades and priorities at the same time, but she got herself to pass and graduate--barely graduating.
Her brother visited her pretty frequently to chek out how she was doing and what she may need help on. Either with his group or just himself alone. He's like the person that took care of her so she wouldn't be depressed. Of course her brother had his own schedules so he would come and pop up just at different and abnormal times. Trainee life for her -- interacting with other people wise, wasn't that bad. People didn't acknowledge her, but ofcourse she was fine with it and continued on. She really didn't like talking to others while practicing anyways.

Seyoung was born on April 24, 1990. In a family of 4 that consisted of her younger brother Kang Seungyoon, dad Kang Sungdo, and mother Kang Mina. Father who works as a professor at Seoul University and a mother who works at a bakery. Born in Busan and raised there she was quite different from the kids, she didn't really like playing with the other girls with all their dolls, she wasn't really the type to make friends either. Kindergarten she was pretty much alone or talking with the teachers. She wasn't a teacher's pet or anything though. She just wanted some company.
During her first year of primary school, that's when she started making friends, but she noticed every time she would, she'll always get into these arguments with her "friends" because they have different tastes and opinions, she eventually learned how to somewhat deal with it. From grade 1 - 3 everything was a breeze because she was still able to handle it. Grade 4 though, the group of friends she stayed with for 3 years tried to actually throw her stuff to the garbage because it wasn't "pretty and pink". They even told her she should just buy a new one. She looked at them in awe, no anger in her eyes but they were dull. She put her hands in the garbage to get her stuff back, but ended up getting pushed by the "leader". She fell and so did the garbage just right beside her. Seyoung noticed there was a banana peel right beside her, thinking "this is what they do on tv right?" she threw the banana peel at the girl. Kids who were walking at the hallway stopped and started laughing at banana head. She was left sitting on the floor trying to stand up until the rest of the girls started crowding her.
Class president of 6-E came out to the rescue though and helped her out. By threathening to call the teachers on all the girls. Back then, who wouldn't be scared of the teachers? (unless you're a total badass keed then ignore this ehl oh ehl jk xD) You may think this is like any scene from a Kdrama right? Wrong. Goodie two shoes class president ended up calling a teacher and reported Seyoung for throwing garbage and smelling "yucky". So her mom was called and they had to send her home. It was a good thing though,s o she can reflect and how she should be careful with people like the group of girls from before and how she should really find that class president and push him for calling a teacher and getting her in trouble thank him for calling a teacher so she wouldn't be "yucky" all day.
As promised the next day found class president, she thanked him. Probably not how you may think she said thank you...but she did say it. He although seemed like a person who didn't care at all. Though they found out each other's names. His name was (as you guessed it) Lee Jonghyun.
Next year, was basically meeting new people, though Seyoung acted like how she was-- silent and backing away from the crowds. As she backed away she bumped into someone which made that person fall. She turned around and found out that, it was last years class president. She helped him up and go to his feet, although it looked liek it wasn't enough since he started nagging after on how she should look behind her shoulders when walking backwards. After all the nagging they went to their respective classrooms, his being next to hers for some reason. Seeing each other frequently she decided maybe she should sit with him during lunch since she always just sits alone anyways. So during lunch she went to find him in the gym, where pretty much most of the kids hung out for lunch. She didn't see him in sight. So she tried going to other places like out at the soccer field and she didn't really see him there either. So she went to the front of the school and tried to look for him there. Which she did, she saw him there sitting alone under the tree. So that meant he wouldn't be bothered by having another person as company right? She ended up being right and they made a plan which was keeping each other company everyday. That was well until he moved. He didn't say anything about him moving so he might've not known...right?
First year middle school finally started, and that was when she saw a familiar face and of course she couldn't mistaken it, he was actually back and it's him.. Lee Jonghyun. Someting surprising that happened was, when their distance between each other was wider, their bond started to get stronger. They started to hang out more and even chose the same extra-curricular, instrumental music.
When high school came for Seyoung she saw him, and asked him if he wanted to join a band with her since she knew he was talented and she was also good at playing instruments and singing. toomucharroganceforme He eventually agreed because he would decline and she would always pester him to join. This was pretty much how one of the greatest high school bands in Busan was made and without him, there probably wouldn't be a hardworking bassist-composer. Seyoung also eventually got her Gibson Les Pauls, Black Beauty edition. Which she treasures all her life.
Eventually the band needed a replacement bassist since Jonghyun needed to leave and train as a trainee, but she had one last favor from him and that was making another song with her. She would use that song basically for her auditions also. It was probably precious as her guitar, that was how much she cared for it.
Seyoung auditioned to many different agencies, yes she didn't go to any kpop-shows (e.g kpopstar, k-star) she tried her best, starting from sm to jyp to cube and ts but they all said she would need to be a trainee for at least 5 years or more and drop the electic guitar. Which she couldn't do. Lastly, she went to her dream ent. YG ent. She didn't make it till it was her second time auditioning which was a few months later. During this time she pretty much slept and trained only doing her homework during her training time.
She also spent some time visiting her own best-friend to cheer him on so he wouldn't give up on his dream.

Back in high school he was like her guardian, standing up for her, helping her out when she's in the middle of a problem, the one who helps her out making songs (they made their first song toghether which was called "Essence") . Then he was a trainee which sort of ruined their relatioship because they talked less, due to studies and him practicing as a trainee. They were in the same band together during high school, he was the bassist, while Seungyoon was the lead guitarist, Seyoung being a guitarist but main vocals up front, and another friend named Taeshin being drummer.
Even though he barely showed any emotions to the public, when anyone is barely around or he's in a small group with his friends, he'll regulary be smiling and a whole different person than what his outer appearance is like.
