TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] During her 1 year and 6 months in JYP she realised that, this was not the agency for her. Not because of what was being told to practice..but actually how people treated her there at that time. She knew she wasn't the prettiest of them all, her singing skills were only decent at this time, and everyone would always try to pick on her. She wasn't that bad at singing or dancing, it's probably because when people look at her they would think, weak. and. childish. She wasn't childish, she just liked to get along with others and not be all so serious all the time. She did make a few friends here and there. It wasn't enough to make her stay though. So, she tried to audition for other agencies that would like to be looking and accepting trainees. She went to entertainments like Starship, Top Media, Pledis, Dream Tea, and YG. Out of the 5 she was only accepted 2/5, Top Media and Starship. She was going to accept one of them until, mail came for the results from her YG audition. They said her voice was great, but she needed more control and volume over it. Confindent overcoming this, she practiced 2 years more until it got better. That was how she got into YG's trainee program. Enjoying that many people didn't bother her, nor talked to her she didn't mind it. As long as she wouldn't be judged straight right at her face about her appearance. Trying to balance school work and training was hard. Even for her, but she managed to do it accordingly. Sometimes she would be sleeping until 4 am just revising on what she had done, or finishing projects that were given as homework.  Her motivation though was trying her hardest since the work that has gone to sacrifice with effort would pay off. Which did. 

When that day of her being accepted in #Hashtag came, she was ectastic to hear it. She eventually cried due to happiness. After years of training she thought she was never going to debut, and she would have to go back to science and continue her career from there. She was shaking as a representative had told her. It looked like as if she was going to get a panic attack, from her reactions. Shaking, heavy and hard breathing, not being able to stand somewhat properly. At that time she just didn't know how to react...happy, relieved, mad because she took so long to perfect her skills and it hadn't been perfect, but she was forever trying.

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] 

// Starting with positives. Seyoung is a very optimistic person who thinks that anything is possible. After having done research and all. If a banana has a chance of 0.00000000000000000000000000000000003% of passing through a wall (this is a true fact but I don't know the exact number of 0's all I know is that it doesn't fit on the calculator otl.) then she would be able to do anything, and accomplish her goals. She's not a person to give up on something so easily, if she has her mind towards it, she has not problem of going towards it. She would have a tough time to let go, even if someone intervenes and tells her to stop. Her optimism is great, that most people who have problems just by doing certain work go to her for counseling/looking towards a solution. Just like in the past, she has always been caring towards others. She may not look like the person who does but it's true. She doesn't like to see others suffer. People tell her she looks like she's full of arrogance. In reality, that's not true and she would try to prove them wrong, she's not a person like that. To people that are younger than her, she would take care of them like they're her own younger siblings. Even though she doesn't have any younger siblings. If anything went wrong, she would try and prod into something that was probably not her business. She's just like that though. She'll try and help you out either way. Responsible. Being a person who was really neat -she did NOT have OCD- if there was work that had to be done, she would do it as perfect as she can in the given amount of time. She is also able to be trusted without supervision to get her work / things done. She's reliable if anyone needed support. Being a very responsible student also, she has done her work all up to date and handed in on time, with her room at her house being clean and neat. Some of her family members even say it may be one of the neatest rooms in the whole house because she keeps it in such a good condition.

// Negatives. She likes to be in people's businesses's even though it has nothing do with her. She's just a person that wants to know everything that's going on around her.  Sometimes she may come off as bossy towards people, and she may not notice it until told by others. She just wants things done right, without problems. When a problem occurs, as in like fist fight or real verbal cursing here and there happens, she usually doesn't know how to react to it. So, the only thing she would do is staying silent and not being able to actually solve it. In certain situations she may not be helpful at all. Some deemed her useless if they were real life situations and not something that has to do with music. Sensitive, she's a person that likes to joke around a lot, but sometimes if things can go too far she would react to them really badly. Either she would end up crying or getting angry over things. She's always been a sensative person and never really has known how to be less sensitive about it. It's just her. As she says, it may be one of her worst traits that she does not like, and would like to get rid of if she had a chance. Mood-swingy her mood can change from happy to pissed off in about an instant. It's not like she can do anything about it since it is in her blood. Sometimes people get weirded out though, like how she can act like that. Sometimes even crying then laughing the next second, for sure it isn't hard to change her mood. Small things even can change it.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Born in a very scientific and professional family, she never really felt how childhood really was supposed to be like. Her father being an actuary and mother being a scientist. Mostly in the house there would be 2 cooks and 3 maids looking out for 2 children. Seyoung and her brother. Joo Sehong. Her brother being 4 years older than her, pretty much was the very clumsy leader at the house. Ordering maids here and there, and cooks tending to his tummy's needs. He wasn't always the brightest leader, or having the greatest balance. Although he was the smartest one between the 2. When he was in grade 2, he managed to get almost perfect on his math marks and astounding the teachers with his critical thinking on solving the problems. Even though it was grade 2, it was still a sight to see for the teachers. Meanwhile, Seyoung just in kindergarten liked hanging around with friends and fooling around. Sometimes even the teachers, would get so frustrated with her, moving everywhere. She wasn't really the best in her classes during elementary school, if there was a ranking she would probably be in 12th. Until grade 6 came, that's when her true colors showed. When she studies she wouldn't be bothered by anything like a stoic rock, this would probably the only time she would stay still. Her science marks were always on top, and after her parents getting her a math tutor and languages, she was finally able to prove that she wasn't lacking behind her brother by a whole bunch. Other than fooling around in school, at home she would be naturally quiet, since that was how it normally felt like other than her annoying brother being here and there. 

Seyoung in grade 5, was finally able to get her first guitar from her parents. It was a Gibson, Hummingbird acoustic guitar. Once she got this she was usually determined to play and succesfully learn this. So her parents signed her up for singing and guitar lessons. After a few years she learned that this was really stressful for her. So she stopped. The guitar was then put inside it's case and hidden by other old memories in the musical room, where barely anyone went to. Being fully into her studies she was able to get in the gifted school for science, Seoul Science High School. The test just to get in was exceptionally hard, but she managed to do it because of her hardwork studying and dedication for science. Noticing that science was her field of studies, she just felt like school was going in a breeze. Except maybe when group work comes along. Clashing minds would go against each other to make a plan, but sometimes it breaks teamwork instead of assembling an idea.

Even in high school, even though it was mostly a gifted school. There were many people joining bands and clubs that were involved in the arts. She managed to pass her school's audition for their first ever rock band. Her being the lead guitarist and main singer of the band. She didn't know how she got such an important part, but she took it gladly. As a band she made friends, the lead bassist (Jeon Gyu) who was her crush in her little Seyoung days, keyboarder (Kim Aeyeon) who later became her best friend as time went, the drummer who was her best-guy friend (Kim Youngjae), and her other fellow guitarist and partner in crime who was an international student. (Zhao Wonchu) Together they joined many rock festivals and performed there for fun / competitions and being in the school talent show every year. 

When she eases her stress she tries and looks back..what can she do? Finally having an idea, she rushed into the music room and started looking for her guitar, there and then her passion and light for music lit back up again. Moving from acoustic guitar to the electric. It then made her enjoy and play from energetically, she sometimes wondered if she looked crazier than her brother when playing the electric guitar, even if she didn't care it was always a thought she would laugh at, to herself. Singing to english songs, making a youtube channel to record her singing, making covers. She didn't get really anywhere but she enjoyed it, listening to her voice and catching wrong pitches and how she could improve her singing by listening on and on. Even though her parents didn't approve of it she still went to audition for jyp when she was 15. It took her awhile until she was accepted and became a trainee. Her brother on the other hand rooted for her to follow her dreams, while he would be working on his goal for a phD for biology. 

FAMILY [ ♦ ]

Even with all the fights she still cares for him and so does he.

// Best-friend, Park Jaehyung ♦ 23 ♦ Singer ♦ Derpy, Childish, Gullible ♦ When Seyoung was still a trainee in JYP they would see each other occasionaly either staying at the same room writing / practicing their songs or just casually passing by the hallways ♦ After talking with each other for a while, they managed to get along with each other. Of course, it wasn't a perfect relationship with each other since there's no such thing as perfect if you were good friends. They did have some fights here and there.
// Best-friend, Jang Jinnie ♦ 21 ♦ Cafe manager ♦ Bubbly, Smart, Pessimistic ♦ During high-school they were paired up as partners occasionaly since theire seats were next to each other.♦ Jinnie being pessimistic and Seyoung being optimistic thoughts clashed often during work. They get along just fine if it's not work. How they became best-friends was pretty complicated after they saved each other's lives...from the cranky old math teacher.
// Partner-in-crime, Zhao Wonchu ♦  Quirky, Joker, Simple-minded ♦  Her partner in-crime during high school, even though they had tough times trying ot understand each other, time got them to overcome this obstacle and they were able to understand each other..sort of. There was a little mis-wording / mis-spelling here and there at times.
// Friend and ex-crush in the 7th grade, Jeon Gyu ♦ Impulsive, Picky, Calm ♦ He was pretty much the opposite of Seyoung, and she doesn't even know how she liked him- now that she looks back at the past. They get along pretty well now even though they're opposites. Being together in a band made her realise, it's better just as friends. 
// Best-guyfriend, Kim Youngjae ♦ Calming, Friendly, Shy ♦  Once he got comfortable with Seyoung Mr.Shy guy was gone, and instead was replaced by a really hyper giant who is 6'2ft (188 cms), who she really looked up to. Also another former rock band member during Seyoung's high school days who she still keeps in touch with, even though sometimes she's way too busy. 
// Friends, Kim Aeyeon ♦ Sweet, Athlethic, Daring ♦ Dare-devil of the group, she was the one who would pretty much solve Seyoung's problems, and get her to try new things and push her out of Seyoung's comfort zone. They still keep in -touch although both of them are busy due to Aeyeon being ina highly competitive university field and Seyoung's training.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] Jaehyung had always went to the small practice room to record his songs, until he noticed that there was a tall girl sitting with headphones on, singing while play a highly graded guitar, the gibson. Not was it the acoustic, but the electric guitar, singing to Maroon 5. Thinking in his head why she was even here and not the other big rooms, he cleared his throat trying to get her attention. Nervous, not knowing who this person was he poked her back and then grimaced thinking that she was going to yell at him after she gave a blank look. Little did he know, she was just tired from practicing her voice and playing the wrong chords every time. Him being a nice person and helping out a fellow trainee, they stayed together in that room playing the guitar. That was only for a few weeks until she did move. Singing one last song to him (B.A.P's Goodbye) and a letter she smiled at him. "Good Luck." was what she said. Him being gullible he didn't understand what this fully meant (he's not dumb, he just didn't get what this was for) asking her if he can know why she was singing it, all she gave was a smile and a small "you'll see". Another question, him asking if he can open the letter. She wasn't smiling, but wasn't frowning either, and shook her head. Patting his shoulder leaving the room right after and said, "Sorry." as her final words to him that day.

OTHER [ ♦ ] As he debuted, she also visited his first showcase to see him there. Smiling and happily performing on stage. That was when the scandal happened. Not knowing what to do, she told him "let's not see each other for a whie, but let's keep in contact!". They gave their one last hug and left to their seperate ways. Her heart hurting, from the splitting pain.

Doesn't know that she will be debuting, or a trainee in YG at all, because she never told him, and she didn't want to feel like she betrayed him.

Only told him, she was moving forward and away from JYP. He never proded and but wondered where she was now.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] As she entered YG, with her guitar she met up with different people, some were being crowded as she thought maybe they were the ones who won competitions or just really buddy buddy with everyone. Not minding it she continued on where she can learn and impprove her dance and voice. Once she did for 12 hours with some small breaks. She went to a music room, that looked much like a dance studio. Not knowing if she was supposed to be here or not, she looked around to see no one and played her guitar. A knock that came from the door, a man who was skinny but yet had nice cheeks came in. He was surprised that a girl was here alone and playing the acoustic. Why not any other room but his? He wondered. Was she crazy or..? As he was thinking in his mind she continued to stare at him with a smile. "Hello" she said with her hand raised up. He responded back nodding and saying "Just here to get my stuff... you didn't do anything to it right?". Confused on what he was saying, she responded with a bored liik that was supposed to mean 'why would I even touch other people's stuff'. He got the idea and turned his back while she continued to play. Taking notice of her skills, and mistakes he helped her out to tell her where she's going wrong, and what pitch it's actually supposed to be. This was how pretty much they met. Not even a year later he was gone and away from the practice room, to debut in a survival show. 

OTHER [ ♦ ] If there was a ranking for being the best electric guitarist, they would both fight over it but then laugh it off.

They would normally find each other in the practice room where the both met. Continue whatever they were doing there, and just pretend the latter wasn't there. 

It starts with a love-hate relationship, where sometimes they like each other's company but also at other times they get annoyed at each other.
