appearance » Nari has a beauty mark on both of her collarbones and one on the back of her nape. She also uses contact lenses or glasses because she has a bad eyesight. She's fully aware that her neck is long which is why her hair is always down to hide it. Her hair is naturally wavy and ebony black but dyes it to brown or blonde when she feels like it. Also, she has light bruises on her legs so she always uses leg foundation.
 

style » Nari has a wide variety of clothes, but mostly monochromatic ones. Nari is quite the fashionista, actually. Whenever she dresses up, it seems like she just walked out of a photo shoot. She usually pulls off a chic style, sometimes with a hint of pastel and vintage. She could pull off anything, to be honest. Rings and bracelets are usually her type of accessories since necklaces makes her feel irritated and earrings can't work either for her ears aren't pierced. ". . ." ㅡ Nari is the quiet one among the group. For the fans, they understand Nari whenever she stays at the back. The girl is extremely shy around people and cameras that she'd usually hide behind the members when she sees one; despite the fact that she's one of the tallest members. Whenever the microphone is given to her, she would shiver and immediately pass it to other members. She diverts attention to others as much as possible. Even when the company scolds her, she'd still get scared whenever she publicly speaks.

"What?" ㅡ Nari always has that poker face plastered on her small face. At often times, she'd be misunderstood, labeling her as "rude" or "icy". It doesn't help that her eyebrows are long and thick, making her look like she's always angry. As the members fool around, she'd stare at them with her usual expression. Some people might think that she's unhappy being in the group, but that's just how she is. Of course she smiles, she's still human. But it takes quite the effort. ( Tip: She's ticklish! )

"Never mind then." ㅡ Nari is seriously moody. But is it obvious? No. Analyzing her actions might make you want to bang your head on everything. She's really hard to decipher which always confuses the members. At times, they don't even know what they did wrong, or if they did anything at all. Because seriously, you wouldn't know if she's mad or not.

"Use mine instead." ㅡ Nari is actually one big ball of fluff and shyness off screen. She secretly likes to take care of the members without them noticing. She'd lay your head on her shoulder when you're tired, carry your things when you're having a hard time, exchange her perfectly fine shoes for your slippery one. If ever someone notices, they wouldn't bring it up for it will only make her feel flustered.

"Ah, no. I'm still learning." ㅡ​ Nari never brags, despite being the 'triple threat' of the group. She's a fast learner, something her mentors like about her. She strives to meet everyone's expectations and wouldn't want them to feel disappointed. Her promise is to always work hard, and Nari doesn't like broken promises.

"Really, it's nice." ㅡ​ Nari is honest when it comes to giving opinions. She really cares about others and wouldn't want them to embarass themselves so she protects them beforehand. For example, one member might have a problem with choosing clothes. Instead of making fun of her choices, she'd politely tell her that it doesn't look right and would help her choose again.

LIKES » 
ㅡ Hugs. Surprise, surprise. She might try to pry you off when you try to initiate skinship, but the truth is, she likes to be cuddled. Unconsciously, she sometimes hug the members from the back, making use of her tall height to place her chin on their head or shoulders. 
ㅡ Cookies. Is she ignoring you? Worry not! Use the cookies to lure her in. Cookies were always her weakness. Besides, she has a weak heart anyway, she'd easily give in.
ㅡ B to the I to the BANG! BANG! Nari is a really big fan of Big Bang. She actually likes a lot of groups. INFINITE, EXO, f(x), B.E.G., and Lovelyz are a few. She's a fangirl, too. She understands how fans feel.
ㅡ Hot chocolate. Nari was never a fan of caffeine. So whenever she goes to a cafe, she'd always order hot chocolate. It soon became her favorite because of that.
ㅡ Stationary. Nari suddenly disappeared? Don't worry. She might probably be at Muji or Daiso, her two favorite shops. A little secret, Nari actually writes diaries. She even decorates it. Daiso and Muji has the best stationary in her opinion, which is why she grew fond of the said shops.
ㅡ Rings. She actually has a collection of it. One of the things listed on her bucket list is to design her future wedding ring with her husband-to-be.
ㅡ Horror or thriller related things. If you want to see her scared, that would be a pain for she isn't easily scared.
ㅡ Lip balm. She has a drawer full of lip balm! One is for glossy lips, one is for pinkish lips, one is for pale lips, and the list goes on. She believes that her lips are her asset.
ㅡ Chores. It eases her tension and helps her clear her mind.
ㅡ Taking pictures. She even spends her free time to print it out. Nari compiles all the pictures in a box and sends it to a local photo museum where they display her photographs. In exchange, the ambassadors of the museum give her a decent amount of money which she donates to different organizations.

DISLIKES »
ㅡ Smokers. She wouldn't hesitate to grab that stick and throw it to the ground. Smoking is bad!
ㅡ Fast drivers. She doesn't care if she doesn't have a proper license, she'd ask you to stop and she'd drive for herself. She loves her life, okay?
ㅡ Spiders. Get out of the way for she might hit you as she runs for the sake of her life. 
ㅡ Clowns. Want to see Nari cry? Hire a clown. Though there's a high chance that you might witness a live fight. The girl learned Taekwondo for six years!
ㅡ Neon colors. Just no, okay. Isn't it hurting your eyes?

ㅡ Losing things. Nari is really forgetful. Everything she has to bring for the next day must be listed on her phone for her not to forget. If she manages to forget her phone, then she's doomed and hella dumb.

ㅡ Seafood or any fresh food. She never understood why Koreans like eating alive octopus and the likes. What if it sticks to your throat and you die?! Her eyes which are usually blank would immediately go wide when she sees such things.

HABITS »
ㅡ Biting her fingers. Not her nails, but her fingers. It has been like that ever since she was one.
ㅡ Chopping the necks of the members playfully whenever they . This might sound gruesome but this is how it looks like. ( She's not really chopping their necks. OMG. )
ㅡ Whenever she raises her arms, her shoulders do, too. Because of this, her neck kind of sinks in which happens to look a bit cute.

ㅡ Nari is a Virgo.
ㅡ Nari rarely laughs, but when she does, she sounds like 2NE1's Sandara Park. Also, she tends to quickly stomp her foot or jump lightly. If you're really funny, she might even kneel on the floor.
ㅡ Whenever Nari is asked to talk, she has a lot of hand gestures. Back at the Philippines, it's usually how people talk, so it kind of rubbed onto her and became a habit.
ㅡ When SOLARA films random videos inside the car or at the dorm, Nari would either be (1) sleeping, (2) cooking, (3) cleaning or (4) staring at the members while they talk.
ㅡ As a kid, Nari was really hyper and bubbly. She has a video of her 5 year old self dancing to Macarena. The members saw the opportunity and saved it on their phones for future purposes.

ㅡ The culture gap with Philippines and Korea was a large shock for Nari. She's still adjusting, to be honest. Even after 5 years of living at Korea.
ㅡ Nari doesn't call Hakyeon "oppa" because (1) she's uncomfortable using honorifics with a family member and (2) they're that close.
ㅡ Nari and Hakyeon originally planned for the public not to know about them being related. But when SOLARA debuted, pictures of them together surfaced online with the caption "X and N dating", the two immediately revealed their family status before things get out of hand.
ㅡ When asked about Hakyeon and his relationship status, Nari would scrunch up her nose and say that Hakyeon isn't available. Hakyeon doesn't really have a girlfriend, but Nari wants it to stay like that. The only girl Nami approves for his brother is Eunyoung from Two X.
ㅡ When asked about her ideal type, she'd quietly answer 'Do Kyungsoo'. Out of all the groups she like, EXO would probably be at the lower section, though Kyungsoo somehow managed to grab her attention. Her ideal type is someone who's cute and has a nice voice to listen to at night.

Nari is the only child, for her father's second family atleast. Her Korean dad remarried a Filipina when he went to the Philippines after his divorce. Her dad's parents were forced to accept his new family at first, but then Nari was born and to set a good example, the adults have forgiven each other of their wrong doings from the past. As a kid, Nari first learned Tagalog, which is the language used at the Philippines. The country is known for being a bilingual country for most of the people know how to speak in both English and Tagalog, thus making Nari fluent in the said languages. She conversed with her dad in English and with her mom in Tagalog. To make things easier, the parents decided to teach her Korean. She was only eight when she started learning Korean.

Nari was very active back then. She started attending Taekwondo lessons when she was 6 and stopped when she was 12, a total of 6 years. Learned Korean when she was 8 and stopped when she was 11. At school, she isn't one of the smart kids, but her grades are good enough for her to be able to enter the Top 10 in her class. She also took piano lessons for a year when she was 12. She was pretty talented in singing and dancing, too. She was considered as one of the school's pride back then. When she was about to enter her first year of high school at the age of 12 (turning 13), she wanted to become an idol. Her mom disagreed because she doesn't want Nari to go to Korea. She could be an idol at the Philippines, so why go there? Their parents fought about it a lot which made Nari guilty. Her mom soon realized that she was stopping her child from reaching her dreams and soon gave in. She was sent to Korea first and stayed with her father's first family.

Her step brother, Hakyeon, is actually a trainee from Jellyfish Entertainment. He was the one who helped her pick companies to audition to. Her first option was YG Entertainment, but the moment she stepped inside, she immediately cowered away and ran back outside to Hakyeonㅡshe said the mentors were scary to which Hakyeon responded with a fond laugh and Nami ended up kicking his shin. Her second option was Woolim Entertainment. She managed to make it until the second round but unfortunately, she didn't make it to the cut. Finally, Hakyeon recommended JYP Entertainment. He was always with Nari whenever she auditions and he was really proud when she ran outside with a timid smile on her face with a small business card within her hands.

TRAINEE LIFE»
ㅡ When she was 16 years old, her half brother debuted as VIXX's leader with the stage name 'N'. Nari was really happy, despite her blank expression. Hakyeon was used to it anyway. Nari felt intimidated though, seeing how 4 years was enough for Hakyeon to debut while she has been training for 3 years and their CEO is still not planning to debut a girl group. When she was about to be a 5 year old trainee, the CEO suddenly told her to visit his office. It was said that she was going to debut alone with 6 other girls. She didn't notice the smile forming on her lips, surprising the CEO because wow, Nari actually smiled. After the meeting, she called Hakyeon to tell him the news. Of course, he was happy, he even boasted about it to s.

Though an accident happened which made their debut date move. Nari knew that it was just temporary, that she will still debut, but she can't help it but to be sad. She doesn't blame the member though, it's not like she wanted it to happen. The practices for the group will only resume when the member completely heals, until then, the 6 others were free to train when they feel like it to avoid stress and more problems. During those times, Hakyeon invites the girl over to VIXX's dorm, formally introducing her to the members. When all the 7 members were ready, Nami felt happy once again and started to practice diligently, wanting to show her family and the company that she deserved her spot in JYP's new girl group, SOLARA.
