+"If all else, make them laugh!" When she's not belting her lungs out and proving she deserves to be here on stage, Chai is probably one of the biggest goofballs off camera, well, sometimes. She's very outgoing and silly and all around a good energy to be around. She loves making people laugh, and frequently does silly, sometimes outrageous things just to see a smile on her groupmembers/friends faces. Image isn't really important to her, what you see is what you get with Chai. After all, she's done her time, in her opinion. She works hard and practices everyday, even on her days off she's running through her music or doing her vocal exercises, so she thinks that she deserves to be able to be herself and be silly. She frequently teams up with Kate and "What the Hell" to become the clowns, sometimes ending up getting scolded by the manager because it wasn't the right time to do so. Chai has this intutition in her, making her very in tune to how the others are feeling and is very much a sympathetic person to people who are telling her their troubles. She's got a big heart and doesn't like people who try and brush off feelings. She wants people to be able to express themselves and come to her when they have problems. However, because she's usually so playful and silly, most people don't take her all that seriously.

-"Tell me, am I ugly underneath the face?" To Chai, she has a tendency to overreact for laughs. However, there are times were she takes it too far. Did you accidentally spill her milk? She'll cry over it. Are you wearing a shirt that she wanted to wear last week? You're a theif. You know that last pudding you ate because she said she wasn't going to eat it? Well now she wanted it and now she's going to starve. Usually, her groupmates and close friends will ignore her, leaving her to get over herself before rejoining them, but it does get annoying. She's also very blunt because of the communication barrier. Chai just tells it like it is, thinking that straightforward is the way to go, even though sometimes it's really not and makes things worse. Even though she's apart of the older line in the group, Chai frequently acts like the maknae. She likes to whine, asking the leader and the others for food or to do something for her, attempting aegyo. She's very critical of herself, of the group, and of others. She works hard, and expects others to do the same and wants results in good time. Unfortunately Chai's not very patient either, and it sometimes come across as too harsh when she's stressed and wants to get it done. She's the type of person that if you tell her something with a serious enough face, she'll fall for it. She once fell for Kate telling her that there was a giant pudding cup in the living room to get her up to do something for her. She hates that she is, but it's definitely not a trait to be broken or changed anytime soon. 

BACKGROUND

+"The beginning is a very good place to begin..." Chai was born into a very loving and well off home in Pattaya, Thailand on May 23rd, 1994. She was the first child, and her parents were overjoyed to have such a perfect little girl to call their own. She was much loved by her family, and was soon given a little sister two years later, Chonnasorn. Their parents both wanted them to be well rounded and well versed, so they were enrolled in an international school from the very beginning of their education, learning English to communicate with the other children there. Both of them went by more English and easier to pronounce names, her younger sister becoming Sorn and herself becoming Chai. They both had a knack for music, and liked it, so their parents let them take lessons and involve themselves in extracurriculars to do so. Since both of them had so much in common, it wasn't unusual to see the two practicing together, laughing and learning from each other. They were always very close, sharing secrets and dreams long after they should have gone to bed. 

+"In comes the wind, in comes the change." When Chai hit her teenage years, it became a lot of pressure in order to achieve what she wanted. She needed to audition at places, get her name out there, and be in the right kind of friend group. This led to her distancing herself from her younger sister, much to the latter's dismay. Chai was changing, trying to fit into a place that she really didn't. When Sorn came into high school with her, Chai tried to ignore her as most older siblings would. It wasn't cool to be seen with freshman, least of all her little sister. Sorn had more of a strong Thai facial features, while Chai had softer features, though the Thai blood still ran thick in her veins. The same girls she called friends found fun in putting Sorn down, often making nasty comments on her skin or her face. The girls frequently made Sorn cry, but only when Chai wasn't around. One day, they were really laying into her, saying she wasn't beautiful and she wouldn't make anything of herself, and Chai happened upon the scene. And that was it, seeing her baby sister's eyes b with tears and looking dejected and so, so, heartbroken. Chai wasn't going to stand for that. They could bully her into doing whatever, but the minute they brought Sorn into it, and tried to hurt her, did Chai really put her foot down. She had pushed them off, telling them to get lost, and after throwing one girl off of her that tried to touch her, they did leave them. The next day, Chai got a lot of hate for being so rude to the popular girls. They had few people who actually talked to them aside form teachers after that. It wasn't the best high school experience, but they knew they had much bigger dreams and plans after graduating. After that, she and her sister made a pact: Ignore the haters, focus on showing them all up in the later years. So they did.

+"It's our turn to shine, let's go." Once Chai graduated, she and her little sister went to perform anywhere and anytime, mostly at late night cafe open mics. They got a decent amount of attention, about as much as you'd expect from two sisters singing with a old rickety guitar late at night. Eventually, Chai asked if they could go around during the summer to the global auditions for certain companies, and their parents allowed them to go, after all, it was what they wanted to do, and it wasn't like they absolutely had to go to college. Sorn was able to enter CUBE Ent. surprisingly easy, and Chai couldn't have been prouder. At first, Chai was a trainee at Big Hit, but was transferred to JYP to audition for upcoming girl groups, and trained at the huge company for almost a year and a half. She was at Big Hit for almost 2.

LIKES

→ Converse / I LOVE this brand of shoe. I'm always wearing them when the coordi-unnies don't require a certain type of shoe!
→ Pranks / I believe in the pranks that are harmless but hilarious! My groupmembers get annoyed, and trust me, my sister was when she was living with me too, kekeke~
→ Languages / I really do love learning languages, and it's easy for me to pick them up. I think that if I wanted to go into college, I'd study linguistics. 
→ Singing / Performing, singing, all of it, I love it! It really is my calling, I believe. I want to do musicals one day, I think it'd be a lot of fun!
→ My name... as tea! / I think it's quite funny that my favorite time of tea is Chai tea, especially with boba. It's so yummy~

DISLIKES

→ Mistakes / I do not like it when people make mistakes, myself included. Especially when they can't admit they were wrong and fix it quickly.
→ Bullying / For my personal experience, and my baby sisters, I have a very low tolerance for such things. I won't hestitate to call someone out on what I think to be bullying.
→ Sour candy / My baby sister is fond of sour candy, but I am not. I feel like my taste buds have melted!
→ Sit still! / Stay still? How can I do that when I have so much to do? Have you ever tried staying still? It's not fun at all!
→ Giving up / That is not in my vocabulary, nor in my nature. I won't allow it in this group!

HABITS

→ Wrong tongue! / I sometimes speak in the wrong language, sometimes switching over to Thai or English when in a fast paced enviroment.
→ Tap, Tap, Tap / When someone corrects me, or finds the thing I was trying to say, I tap my nose three times to tell them they're right.
→ Crossing my eyes / When annoyed or hungry, I cross my eyes. It's a guessing game sometimes on set or in interviews to figure out which one it is.
→ Whining / I know I'm one of the oldest, but when I want something and I don't get it, I tend to whine~ I don't mean to be this way, I was just very spoiled growing up.
→ Humming / I am ALWAYS humming a song, whether it be one of our own or someone else's. I get caught humming other group's songs frequently during shows. 

HOBBIES

→ Cover songs / i like covering other group's songs, especially boy groups or one of JYP's girl groups. I like 15&'s songs the best~
→ Online Shopping / What?? Those Converse were on sale, don't judge me! The dress wasn't though...
→ Variety Shows / I love variety shows! I wanna be on them all. I think We Got Married, Immortal Songs 2, and One Fine Day are my favorites! I hope to go on all of them one day.
→ Musicals / Lately, I've seriously been into watching staged productions of musicals on Youtube. Singing in the Rain and Little Shop of Horrors are my top ones to look at!
→ Practicing / Be it dancing, singing, or languages, I love to do it! I set a time aside everyday so I can practice. Surprisingly enough, it relaxes me.
→ Scary Games / I LOVE playing scary games like Slender man or Five night's at freddys. Others don't *coughcoughKate* but I think they're great.

FEARS

→ Failure / I don't want to fail or disappoint anyone, most of all my little sister. If I fall short of my expectations, I understand. I raised the bar pretty high personally, but falling short of anyone else's standards is unacceptable.
→ Heights / Anything about three floors, I'll do it but if you try and push me closer to the edge I will throw you over the edge. Or throw up. It's usually throwing up. I really hate heights.
→ Supernatural / Say what you want, but ghosts, curses, all of those things exist! I'm not going to piss anything on the other side off, so you can go ahead and laugh, but when you're haunted don't come running to me.
→ Hospitals / I haven't had to visit one so far besides being born, and I'd like to keep it that way. 
→ Growing up / I might be one of the oldest, but I'm so young. I don't want to loose this feeling of being young.

→ She is the older sister of CLC's SORN.

FAMILY

→ father, Piyabutr Sajakul ⋮ 55 ⋮ business private planner ⋮ charming, generous, and intelligent ⋮ "Take care of your sister, and don't forget where you came from." Her father is one of the smartest, if not the most, that she knows. He always knows what to say and how to cheer her up. He never once doubted his daughters abiliities, and although disappointed that they aren't debuting together, eagerly awaits both their group's debuts.
→ mother, Saengdao Sajakul ⋮ 50 ⋮ nurse ⋮ clever, loving and devoted ⋮ "Go get them, honey! We'll be here till the end!" Her mom has always been she and her sister's number one fan, and was all for them going and auditioning. Like her husband, she's sad that they aren't debuting in the same group, but at least she gets to brag to her fellow nurses about how successful her two baby girls are. She's very much for her girls being themselves, and not to be someone they aren't. She wants them to understand that there's a difference to who you are on that stage and who you are truly. 
→ sister, Chonnasorn Sajakul, aka SORN ⋮ 18 ⋮ Idol, member of CLC ⋮ cute, funny, and energetic ⋮ "Unnie, let's sing together one day, okay?" While they had their distanced phase back in school, Sorn has always admired her big sister, always looking to her for advice and as a rolemodel. Because of this, Chai promises to be the best she can be so her sister can't be disappointed. It'd be very hard for her to disappoint Chai. Sorn hopes that one day both CLC and high5 can collaberate. After all, CLC, B1A4 and GOT7 have already collaborated for 'Family'. She thinks that high5 should be involved soon!
 

FRIENDS

→ My baby brother... or child, either works., Bambam ⋮ 20 ⋮ Idol, member of GOT7 ⋮ childish, sincere and playful ⋮ Both being from Thailand, Chai immediately was drawn to him. They both got along wonderfully, and Bambam calls her 'noona'. He's even met her parents, who want to set him up with Sorn. Both parties are extremely embarrassed about this. Regardless, Bambam can either be called her baby brother or her child. It depends on how they're feeling. There was one time on the radio where Bambam actually called Chai as a punishment and called her "umma" and to which she responded, "hello my son, what's wrong?" 
→ Forever Platonic and Pranking, Jackson Wang ⋮ 21 ⋮ Idol, member of GOT7 ⋮ energetic, funny and caring ⋮ Jackson and Chai got along right from the get go. They're both loud, they both like to tease others, and they're both hardworkers. Jackson and Chai can be seen goofing off in others practice rooms, especially a certain member of 15& or of high5. They're especially close because they can relate with not being able to see their family. Sometimes Jackson claims to be Bambam's father, to which Chai usually responds "You have your own wife, make your own child!" 
→ Wife and Bae, Kim Suyeon ⋮ 19 ⋮ Trainee at BigHit ⋮ quirky, happy, and passionate ⋮ Suyeon is another one of her younger friends, but none the less one of her closest. She watched Suyeon during training, and greatly admired her vocal prowess, and when she got the chance to actually talk to her, immediately wanted to be best friends with her. Suyeon was more than happy to be her friend, and they grew closer over shared stories and opinions. They refer to each other as 'bae' in English conversations, which Chai and Suyeon are trying to further their education in, and Jackson usually tells them to get married if he's nearby. Suyeon then yells that Chai's already married, but she's ready to get run away together when Chai's ready to leave her "husband".
→ Partner in Crime, Jung Hoseok ⋮ 21 ⋮ Idol, member of BTS ⋮ happy, hardworking, and charming ⋮ Hoseok was the first friend she ever made as a trainee, and he will always hold a special place in her heart. He was an extremely talented dancer, and while she wasn't the best, he humored her and taught her some of the dance moves he learned in his academy. They frequently keep in touch, exchanging ideas on how to prank their fellow members or just to talk. Hoseok and her want to collaborate for something. They don't know what, but they're sure they can figure it out, right?

OTHERS

→ ...Child? But why me???, Jang Yeeun ⋮ 18 ⋮ Idol, member of CLC ⋮ bubbly, eager and witty ⋮ Yeeun is the maknae of her baby sister's group, and so that means Chai comes to see them a lot. Yeeun has taken a sort of admiration towards the older girl and calls her 'unnie' and sometimes even asks if she'll adopt her and let Yeeun become her child. Chai's not used to this sort of attention, and it sort of flusters her. Yeeun frequently tags along with Sorn to see Chai. She's still set on being considered one of Chai's 'children' and Sorn finds it hilarious.
→ Teach me, please?, Kim Namjoon ⋮ 21 ⋮ Idol, member of BTS ⋮ goofy, determined, and kind ⋮ Namjoon wasn't the greatest singer or dancer, but the boy knows how to rap and how to lead. Chai has somewhat of a crush on the BTS leader, admiring him greatly and sometimes asks to practice English with him. He finds Chai's enthusiaism good, and tells her to keep working hard. She always looks forward to having conversations with him. Many a time she's been asked if she'd date 'Rap Monster' and she replies, "No, I'm married. But I might consider dating Namjoon." mostly because she likes his normal, off stage persona better than the Monster Leader. It's not that it's not cool, it's just not the person she was first drawn to.
→ Bambam's "father", Im Jaebum ⋮ 21 ⋮ Idol, member of GOT7 ⋮ kind, moody, and cool ⋮ It was Bambam's fault, honestly. They asked who his father was if Chai was the mom, and he answered JB. So now they're considered married and Bambam is their child. Despite seeming somewhat cold and distant, he's really just a quiet, kind leader. He and Chai both take care of their younger members almost meticiously, never wanting to say no. They get along very well and even admitted to liking being 'married'. "It saves time from dating, that's for sure." They'd joke.
→ Who said we were ever friends?, Choi Chaejin ⋮ 20 ⋮ Bully from high school ⋮ bratty, self-centered, and bitter⋮ These girls faced off in high school, right from the get go. Chaejin was the queenka of the school, and wanted people to be the way 'it should be', and be the certain way she saw them. Chai, at first, seemed willing to do so, and she hesitantly let her join the little group of minions she had. Once her little sister joined, and made it clear that she wasn't about to change herself for them, Chaejin was very, very angry. The school (and her mind) had a system, and it was to be followed. So with the Sakajul sisters went against that, especially Chai, who threw her off of her when Chaejin attempted to push her, she had it out for them. She made a vow to make their lives miserable in any way possible. Nowadays she sulks in the shadows, wishing she could find some dirt to ruin the two Thai girl's careers.

TRAINEE LIFE Being a non-Korean, her trainee life was very difficult at first, especially at Big Hit. The language barrier was a still wide, regardless of her English skills, and she was teased every so often by the Korean girls with perfect face proportions and milky legs. She found friends in Rap Monster and J-Hope, who were very willing to let her in and hang out with her. Eventually, her talent got noticed by JYP, and she was requested to transfer to the company. It took her a couple of months to come to the conclusion to do so, not wanting to leave her friends. She didn't want to start from the beginning again, and asked J-Hope and Rap Monster's opinion. "We can't decide for you, Chai. Just do what will help you achieve your dreams."  It was the following week where she transferred to JYP. She started working even harder, meeting her fellow group members and GOT7, even befriending 15& and finding her home there. She's extremely thankful towards JYP and promises to always do her best, even after debut.

It was later cleared by both companies by revealing that both parties were going to the shooting site for BTS' comeback MV.
→ HIGH5's Chai broke down in tears backstage at M!Countdown // summer 2015 // true // Fans sighted the main vocalist in tears being comforted by various members of her group and of GOT7. It was later explained by Chai herself that a saesaeng fan had threatened her sister and herself and it had scared the living daylights out of her. Extra precaution will be taken with the Thai sisters for a while.

RELATIONSHIP

+"Just let me take care of you." JB is always there for Chai. He's the first one when Chai says she needs help to come and try and see what he can do, and he can always make her smile. Chai, being the headfirst person she is, went straight for it, making the first move and bringing them together as a couple. At first, they could keep it under wraps, not wanting to alarm or push it into their companies and group's faces. They were just super cute, always teasing each other and dancing, JB being the leader guy he was and correcting Chai, and she being super silly and being dumb, but instead of being more firm like he used to be, JB would just smile and giggle at her. That's how the groups first knew that something was up. JB just loved taking care of her, and Chai didn't mind being taken care of. 



+"Tell me why i'm not the center of your attention?" Chai is definitely the initator of their relationship, wanting JB's attention a lot of the time, even when it's not good time. But it's not like the boys exactly stop her. They find it hilarious that their leader is so easily swayed by this tiny Thai girl, and frequently let her into the dorm to wake him up with her loud whining, asking why he isn't up yet, come eat breakfast with her, or something strange. He finds that it gets on his nerves sometimes, but when he seriously asks, she'll lay off for a bit. At photoshoots, she's always messing with him, trying to get him to smile and laugh and break character. It depends on whether he's actually focused on work if he'll break it or not. After he's done, he usually goes over and scolds her a little. She always gets especially jealous and clingy when he has to act with other girls, even her own group members. However, JB assures her that there's nothing between he and another actress, his eyes are only on her.



+"Every touch, every kiss, every look. There's electricity. Do you feel it?" While Chai has no shame with admiting when she figured out she liked JB, he is a little more subtle about how his feelings came to be. If he were honest, it'd start with her smile, and it grew, ironically enough, when they became "married" and he realized just how well they were together. They're able to figure out what the other wants, what they need, and work together on it. He loves that she's comfortable around him, especially when it comes to consent with physical affection. He doesn't want to do anything she's not ready for, so when she initates it lets him breathe to know she wants him too. Chai loves that he's so attentive and loving towards her. Whenever she needs him, he's there. She's made a promise to be there for him too, knowing that being a leader can't be easy for him. They know they're young, and that it might not work out in the end, but they both want it to work out more than anything and are very willing to put everything they have into this relationship. They aren't the type of people to just give up, so they'll be together for a long time, even if it gets rough. 

HISTORY

+"I know you want me, let's start talking~" They first met when filming GOT7's debut video. She was the girl who found the club and JB's earring, and since she already knew Bambam, it was even better. Bambam introduced her to everyone, and she was a very energetic, happy soul who got everyone to like her and want to at least talk to her a little. Because JB had to go by her and notice her a couple of times, they were able to talk. Although she stuttered over her Korean, she was more than happy to talk to him, and he found that he really enjoyed having conversations with her. So he promised to help her whenever Bambam wasn't available, and that he hoped that she debuts soon.

+"Stop it Stop it, I want to hold you tight" JB knew he was going to be seeing her a lot more after they announced HIGH5 as GOT7's partner group. He was taken aback when he discovered her singing being as strong as it was. It was definitely an attractive quality, and he approached her to compliment her. She smiled so brightly at him, making him stare. She thanked him, saying it was great to be complimented by someone so amazing and accomplished as him. He stumbled over his words, thanking her back and eventually, he was talking to her again. That smile of hers played by in his head every day, wanting to find some way to get it directed at him.

+"Hey baby, I think I wanna Marry You" Although it was profusely embarrassing on the radio show when he was picked as Bambam's dad to Chai being the mom, he was more than happy to accept the position, especially when he found that fans shipped him and her together because of that. They were able to see each other more and talk more, eventually adopting the nicknames "husband" and "wife" and becoming their personas, becoming close and more into skinship. While fans loves the cute dynamic between the two, their groupmates started to notice the attraction and obvious chemistry between the two. They couldn't say they didn't feel it either.

+"But I am a Woman Too" When Chai confirmed her feelings for JB, it was all because of Kate in Dream Knight. When she kissed JB, something surged inside of her, saying "But he's mine". What made it worse is that JB didn't seem to mind kissing her groupmate, and she hated that the most. So she decided to take matters into her own hands. When he came over to ask how the scene he had just filmed went, she just flat out kissed him, only to pull away and say "You did well." and leave set for the day. It left him really confused, and when he saw her later that night, he asked what the kiss was about. She looked at him, "What do you think?" and he was kissed again. "Why do people kiss each other?" And it clicked for him. Ever since then, they've been together.
