Mistaking Attachment for Love
This is PATHCODE KYUHYUNWIFEY.
You don't need to guess anything. It's just a clue for my future here in AFF.
Attachment is poisonous, and it kills love. When a person is attached, he tends to possess, to imprison the other, but to love is free. People who are attached cling to the idea that we only feel loved if we control the situation because we are afraid that the other may leave. The ego possesses the other and kills him, when in fact, love gives life to the other (Rajneesh 1975:173-175)
The person who is attached is afraid of rejection, afraid that the other might change, might be seduced by another. Love is not possible because fear in attachment compels the attached to build walls, impose rules and harbor doubts. We think that it is love when we control the situation. We think it’s love when we simply follow the rules, but in reality, not saying no is a lack of dignity on the person’s part. Love has dignity.
Sooooooo.
