Help

I need some advices from people with dogs. Should I or shouldn't I get a Maltese? Does anyone here have one? It was supposed to be a surprise and I found out about it, so I still have time to do something about it, but I need to make up my mind fast. One of the main problems is that I have a 14 year old cat, and I don't know how they'll get along. Does it get along with other pets? Does the hair fall? How big do they get? Do they bark a lot? Can they be potty trained? How much do I feed them? What do I do?  TT_TT

And we have like 6 cats and another house dog and he gets along well with them for the most part.

I have a Maltese, well my parents do. They're very loyal, they don't shed, the upkeep is very minimal. They don't get over like 15 pounds. Major lapdog. Ours normally gets along well with other animals, though he does tend to bark quite a bit and it can be annoying.
Feeding them once or twice a day is fine. They potty train very well also. I'd say its a good choice for a dog although I'm not a dog person. :)
