Both of Eleanor's (Korean) parents who grew up in the UK, specifically in Northern Ireland, met in school and fell in love. Now, since they are both extremely driven and practical people, they wanted to date for a while, live together, and all that jazz before they got married. After they had been dating for about 8 years, her mother Julie was offered a job by a business in Japan. Right before they packed thier bags to move over to Japan, he popped the question, and they became engaged. The couple then moved out to Japan, got married and settled,  and after another 3 years, Eleanor was born! The parents thought it would be better to raise their child back in the UK where they were raised so after another 3 years they moved back to Northern Ireland. 

Eleanor loved music from an early age and would always wiggle and dance around whenever she heard it. As soon as she could walk she was just an extremely active child and her parents thought it would be best to enroll her in dance classes. She picked up dance really fast, initially in ballet, in which she continued to perfect and compete. She also branched out and learned tap, jazz, modern, and hiphop. When she began to learn hiphop she gained a love for rap music, and began to teach herself how to replicate the rappers she listened to. When she was 13, her mom recieved another call from a business in Seoul that wanted her skills and they packed up their things and moved to Korea. She continued dancing there as well as attending school, winning dance competitions left and right. She was scouted at one of her dance competitions and when she went to go formaly audition for Pledis, they were surprised to see the classical ballerina they scouted rap instead of dance. Her voice is suprisingly deep for her girly image and she raps very quick and fluidly. (think Yubin from the Wonder Girls) Needless to say, she passed with flying colors. 

Since Eleanor was still young when she was scouted, she still attended school in additon to training. She's super busy, yet she tries to stay optimistic in the sense that things are finally getting somewhere. It also helps that what she does to try to keep her cool is dance, so she can calm down and practice at the same time. Even though she's an extremely outgoing and happy person, the sress in her life can accumulate under her skin. She has had a few mental breakdowns thus far, mostly followed by a Hyuk trying to bring her back to reality. Initially when it first happened he had no clue what to do and he freaked out a bit and in a panic with no idea what he should possibly do he just kinda pulled her into his lap and just hugged her until she got over it. As the pressure continued however he learned to reassure her that he's there for her and just talk through it, letting her calm herself down. Even though she is busy and sometimes gets caught up in the hustle and bustle of stress, she's still has extreme dedication and passion to what she does and wants to improve her skills and talents as much as she can. You always see her putting in extra hours if time allows and you see her trying to multitask as she does so (studying and stretching, listening to audio books while she's dancing, rapping information she's put on flashcards, etc.)

FAMILY.

Julie (Ji) Han. 45. Mother. Business Developer. Business savy, forward-thinking, intellectual, creative.
It was Julie's idea to sign Eleanor up for dance classes, also to name her Eleanor. She's also the reason they moved everywhere. She's very encouraging and always stimulated Eleanor's imagination.
     "I think she has a lot of potential. Plus it's something she's passionate about. I say let her go audition."

Timothy (YoungSoo) Han. Father. 49. Lawyer. Stoic, intellegent, analytical, theoretical.
Even though he doesn't seem as involved in her life, he's very supportive of Eleanor, taught her Japanese when she was young, helped her with her schoolwork, and encouraged her continuously.
     "As long as she keeps up with her school work. I'll help her study for tests if she's training late."

FRIENDS.

Han Sanghyuk (Hyuk). Best Friend. 19. Maknae of VIXX. Hyukawaii, Manhyuk, smart maknae, joyful, troll.
These two went to high school together and were in the same class. They would always goof around with each other in the back of the classroom, and be the class clowns. Although Hyuk was always more successful in school (while she struggled a little extra due to her ADHD) he always managed to take care of her and be her study buddy. They're actually quite precious (and more will be below if you know what I mean)

Kim Wonshik (Ravi). Friend.  22. Rapper of VIXX. Moodmaker, composer, intense, dork, swagalicious
Hyuk introduced these two, and ever since they've met, she has been given the title of his "female counterpart" since they're both super dope dancers, and have slick, deep voices and similar rapping styles. He gives her pointers and works with her as a mentor perspective as well as being really close friends. He writes raps for her and she slays them. 
    "So I wrote you this sick rap. I'm thinking if you like it, you can feature next time VIXX goes on tour! Whaddaya think?"

Amber Liu. Friend. 22. Rapper of f(x) and soloist. Llama, hilarious, real, chill, everyone's friend.
Since Eleanor danced backup for several artists under the label as well as other artists in the industry, she met Amber backstage after one of the filmings. Amber also introduced her to all the other foriegn stars (Eric Nam, Kevin Woo, James Lee, Brad Moore, Ailee, Peniel, etc. etc.) She was also in Amber's Shake That Brass MV.

Eleanor is a very happy-go-lucky, live in the moment kind of person. She is extremely quirky and quick witted and can crack a joke at just about anything. She's goofy and silly, bringing a natural cuteness upon her. Her laugh and smile is contagious making everyone around her get the warm fuzzies. She's a real moodmaker and is also very diverse and inclusive, wanting everyone to be a part of her happy family. She's probably the least discriminating person ever and is never one to judge others. She's rather lighthearted and would rather keep things light then put a damper on things.

Eleanor is also very smart, although not as smart as her parents. She has ADHD and therefore does things a lot slower at processing things than others and in turn isn't as "smart" even though she is extremely well studied and cultured. She can joke about this however and often does to, as I said before, lighten the mood. With the ADHD she is also extremely easily distracted, especially by animals and children. She'll instantly run over to play with them without a second thought. Because she's so easily distracted, others characterize her as unfocused. However, she is extremely determined and passionate which powers her through her training and developing her talents.

When she begins to feel defeated or overwhelmed, she can get into what I call a funk, where she can get easily depressed and emotional. She'll just break down in tears because she masks all her inner emotions and feelings behind her bubbly personality. When they all come overflowing and just can't help but come out she's a mess, and just needs some time to vent. She'll cry, raise her voice, and even unintentionally get mad at whoever is trying to help her. It's just that people need to understand her and then they can deal with her existential crisis. (she's never done this in public luckily, just behind closed doors and normally alone. Hyuk's the only one who knows how to comfort her in these situations)

Since she herself is rather sensitive, she knows how to be gentle and considerate towards others herself. While she seems like an ignorant goof, her members really admire her sense of empathy in which she can pick up on others moods and try to help. Eveything listed above, made her quite the little heartthrob in school. She's the girl that all the boys drooled over and wanted to date. She had the golden ticket- the looks, the talent, and the mindblowing personality to boot. Not that she minded. She's kind of a natural flirt, and will do so without realizing it (she's just really good at flattering others) which added to the appeal. Let's just say Hyuk did not like this one bit and always got quite jealous and protective of her around Valentine's Day. 

Interaction. Like I said before, these kids have been the best of friends since grade school and are always getting into mischief. They're kind of inseperable and it's absolutely precious. Hyukkie would help Eleanor with her school work and studying, and she also helps him with his English, although her accent makes it difficult. They tease and joke around a lot, while also being super cutesy and flirty. (Like he'll run up behind her and just pick her up and spin her around while roaring or like she'll spontaneously jump on his back, they'll have ticklefights, all that stuff) They're kinda immature together, but in the best way. He's also one of the few people who knows how to deal with her mental breakdowns without taking offense and just keeping her calm and protected. He's also really accepting and accomodating of her ADHD and slow processing, staying encouraging and knowing that's the one thing he's not allowed to tease (even though everyone else does because they don't get it)

To be quite honest, Hyuk had a bittersweet relationship with her driving on the road to becoming an idol. Since she was scouted at 14, life became hard for her amongts school and training. The freetime she had became very little and it was getting more difficult for Hyuk to see her outside of school, although he always made the best effort to be by her side. He was extremely supportive through her journey, even deciding to take part in it as well (although he'd never admit it that she was actually the reason he wanted to try his luck in the entertainment industry. freaking kid claims it was Justin Bieber... we can see through your lies Huyk.) They're still absolutely inseperable when they can be, and hang out as often as they can just like old times. 

PERSONALITY.
Hyukawaii vs. Manhyuk. Enough said. 
Basically a joyful, bias-ruining troll. He is the "smart maknae"/"maknae on top" and a mixture of a cutepatootie, teasing know-it-all, and devilishly handsome. He's a balanced mixture between mature and immature and is extremely intelligent. He wants the best for his hyungs and others around him, but won't shy away from giving them a bad time. I just love this dork. He is a beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world, too pure.

MEETING. These two met the first day Eleanor transfered to their school from Ireland. First day of class when she stood up at the front of the room, some people were in awe of her cuteness, startled by her confidence, or confused and giggling due to her odd accent. Reguardless, Hyuk couldn't give one crap about any of it and just minded his own business. She was assigned to be in the seat next to Hyuk towards the back of the room. Eleanor was desperate to make friends since she was new there, and it wasn't very difficult for her with her bubbly personality and all, but Hyuk still didn't know what to quite think of the girl. Although it took them a little bit to warm up to each other, they quickly discoverd all the things they have in common and just kept getting closer and closer. Now they're inseperable and the best of friends and nothing could tear that apart.

Ahhh!!! This app is so fun, and twenty girls will be really difficult to write!! :O FIGHTING!!!!
When I saw that this was a plotline I just stopped and was like "this is 100% Eleanor. O.O" and had to recycle the character. But she's so precioussss. I changed a few things about her character to fit the app better and I think it turned out really well! I hope you enjoy!! Let me know if there's anything I need to change or add!
