Hi all! I thought I would go ahead and write up a proper blog post to let y'all know what's going down with me recently :) as you guys know, To Bring You Home is gonna be finished very soon!!! I'm sad that it's going to end, honestly, but also I'm mad at myself cause it should not have taken this long XD c'est la vie... it got there and that's what's important, right? I never expected TBYH to get so popular and so many upvotes and subscribers and people who are emotionally vested in the story (I think to the point where some of you wanted to kill me several times over dramatic turns of events... heh).

I'm really happy, especially since this is a girl-girl romance and that typically has the least audience of the categories in fanfiction it seems. It shows that I was able to write something that transcended gender barriers, to see some of you say it was your first lesbian fanfiction (or that some others of mine were) and that you liked it, regardless of being straight, gay, bi, girls or guys. I'm really seriously happy and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading it and pushing me on with it. TBH, I wasn't sure in the first place if I should post it because I still hadn't come to terms with my own ual orientation when I started it and was kinda scared of the reaction... but it turned out to be a really powerful part of my own coming-out story. I am a confident and happy lesbian woman in part thanks to Chaera and thanks to being able to express through their love stories :)

Anyway, enough with the mush! I mentioned briefly in a TBYH update that I'd be updating Consumed again. And I will!!! I've been sleeping on it for a while but the entire story is plotted out and it just needs writing (I make it sound so simple... HA.) Look out for excellent Chaera fluff, dark drama, and inspiring moments as the characters each grow through the story. I also want to show more active involvement from Bom and Minzy, too, in this one, since TBYH was really really Chaera-centric. Count on a lot of OT4 :) 

BUT. Here is my caveat. It probably won't happen till at least May. I am taking a very intensive course through all of April which will have me cramming in massive amounts of work every night while trying to carve out some time to do more of my art too (which I am trying to do with the goal of being a part-time artisan/illustrator as a profession so... yeah. It has to take priority over writing). After that I'll be looking to find summer work and eventually a full-time position in Taipei (I spent a year in Korea but I never planned to stay there permanently. Taiwan seems like a more plausible permanent option... plus my girlfriend lives there :P).

I also have some fetus fics (still in the oven... haha) that I want to take time to finish. I want to do Forgetting Field, at a comfortable pace. AND I have a new long-format idea for a sci-fi/war/drama story which is actually not a fanfiction at all, so we'll see when and where that ends up happening, if you would like to read something of mine which isn't based in existing characters or worlds. Will keep you posted :)
