Warning this is a slight rant. 

So lately I've been seeing these stories on a few random tags. In the description it starts off the same way with so and so has Alzheimer's disease and the other character of the pairing is forgotten or is being forgotten. As a person who has dealt with seeing a close relative suffer from the disease it is driving me a bit crazy. I don't like the idea of this being used inappropriately. I don't know if it holds any sentimental value to the authors posting these stories. But I do feel uncomfortable with people using the disease as a way to pull interest into people reading their stories. I refuse to read them as it is not something I can bring fiction and romance to....the disease is real and very tragic to deal with. 

I'm just speaking my mind here. I am NOT bashing anybody's story, I'm bringing the subject of importance in topics when it comes to things people choose to write on here and anywhere else on the internet.
