"what? don't think you think the name is purrfect for our cat cafe?"

calling all cat lovers and lovers of all cats! what. my name is lee jooyoung and I'm one of the two owners of purrfect— a cat cafe located in hongdae. if you love cats or just love cats and happen to be looking for a job or a place to hang out, I'm 100% sure that purrfect is the purrfect place for you. oi, can you stop with the "purrfect" so if it already wasn't obvious from jooyoung's recruitment ADVERTISEMENT thing, purrfect is a cat cafe located in hongdae. they have only recently just started their business and are hiring people preferably girls to help out around the cafe and yeah. this story is going to be revolved around the silly and crazy that the ragtag team aka. the purrfect employees get up to while at work, with a PINCH of romance, dash of drama and sPRINKLE of comedy on the side
we're not too picky when it comes to choosing staff and as long as you intend to do your job properly, jinyoung won't throw you out on to the curb. as stated before in the foreword, you can basically use anyone you want as your faceclaim. oh, if your faceclaim just so happens to be an international one, please do have an explanation as to why your character is living in south korea. once again, byun baekhyun and oh sehun are taken as faceclaims, sorry
Everyone who works at the cat cafe is expected to do every duty within the cafe – there is no such thing as the phrase “that’s not my job” in PURRFECT. All staff are charged with the same goal: to care about and constantly strive to keep the Customers, Cats and cafe happy, healthy and safe. no work experience or pet handling skills requried but it would make a world of a difference if you are someone who is comfortable with or around animals, more specifically, cats. the age limit for applicants is because idk what the legal working age in south korea is so i'll just stick with the one in new zealand lol
hey, do you wanna know how to easily get a job here? it's simple really. just apply. it's up to you how you decide to make your character and as long as you don't make those maru-sues or gary-stus that people don't like, you'll be good to go. i won't mind what kind of personality you give your characters and idc if they're considered stereotypical because variety is love. don't fret over having to write loads for the personality, i have a short attention span so i'd appreciate if what you write is simple and straight to the point. with that being said i won't mind if you rant a bit or write a lot because idk, i just idk
oh don't forget to tell your family and friends about this place too. we may be new but we're just as good as starbucks or any other cafe out there, maybe even better, thanks to me. feel free to add any relevant persons eg. family, friends, lovers, etc related to your character. you can also collab with others if you'd like. no harm in doing so. also, love interests are completely optional, you don't have to have one if you don't want one. with that being said, you have free reign over who your love interest is, be it another applicant, idol, oc, etc
while you're here, why don't you suggest some names for the three cats we found a while back—look at the gif above for a reference of what they look like.
01 you can apply twice, once as female and once as male
02 lgtb is allowed but limited because i prefer hetero over and yuri
03 your character doesn't have to be an employee. they can also just volunteer
04 the app is relatively short and straight to the point
05 trivia is great. the more the merrier
06 oh my girl, the ark, BAP AND bts are my weaknesses
07 jooyoung is a lazy + flirt whereas jinyoung is a momma's boy
08 incorporate these two embarassing step brothers into your app if you want
09 they're also avaliable as love interests if they suit your tastes
10 if you desire another applicant as your love interest and want to leave the match making up to me, just add that somewhere so your app so i know okay
11 it would be great if you could suggest some names for the precious cats haha

PONEGLYPHS NOTES I did a lot of ranting and went off topic here, sorry for that but anyways, here is the cheatsheet. for jooyoung and jinyoung's example app, I didn't want to spoil anything (jokes I was just way too lazy to do two apps) so I put both of theirs on one blogpost and made it more simple by only filling out the basic info, personality and some trivia (lol that's basically the whole app) aside from that, I hope that this fic interests you and I look forward to seeing your apps if you do decide to apply :))
