ROUNDS   ROUND 1   In Round 1, the judges have chosen the poster title, genre/theme, and bonus. The designer may choose the cast.   ROUND 2   In Round 2, the judges have chosen the poster title, cast, and bonus. The designer may choose the genre/theme.   ROUND 3   In Round 3, the judges have chosen the cast, genre/theme, and bonus. The designer may choose the poster title.     BONUSES   The bonuses are meant to be somewhat challenging. We may ask that you manipulate characters, use certain techniques, incorporate certain imagery, or create a certain type of look or mood.    TYPES   "Edit" bonuses ask that you manipulate one or more characters in some way. For "Edit the character(s) as royals," for instance, you might edit a character as wearing a regal robe, a hanbok, a crown, etc. These edits must be your own to count as the bonus.   "Use" bonuses ask that you use a particular feature of your design software. This is the only place in the contest where you might see animation, a technique not otherwise allowed.   "Incorporate" bonuses ask that you bring in some type of image either as a png or stock.    "Create" bonuses ask that you demonstrate some sort of impression. For "Create a stormy look," for instance, you might incorporate rain, lightning, or use textures that give the poster a wind-like effect, etc.    SCORING   If a bonus is incorporated, the entry will earn ten points. How well it was incorporated will be scored in other parts of the rubric as appropriate.
