Jongin would be lying if he said he wasn't following the smaller guy around the store. Upon entering the produce section of the overly large Walmart, Jongin laid his eyes on a beautiful short boy with plump red lips and big round eyes that were inspecting a cabbage. Jongin's never stepped foot in the produce aisle, he always passed it for the frozen pizza and the tv dinners; but today, he made a beeline for the mangoes that happened to be right in front of the cabbages. The shorter male looked at Jongin and gave him a friendly smile before putting his produce in a clear, plastic bag.

Jongin grabbed a mangoes and put them in a bag in his cart. He waited a minute for the stranger to walk away before he timidly followed behind him, his cart making more noise than it should. This was stupid, instead of watching the guy choose pita bread like a freak, Jongin could go up and ask for his name. But no, it wasn't that easy for him. His roommate sehun had previously told him he was socially challenged and at this point, Jongin was beginning to believe.

The boy weaved through the bakery section, looking at the several different breads and then stopping at the donut aisle. He picked his already plump lips and looked at the colorful array. Jongin watched behind a shelf of pies and watched him give in and put a glazed donut in his cart. The guy looked over at Jongin, and in a state of panic, Jongin grabbed a stack of pies and dropped them in his cart before running away. He could've sworn he saw him smile, but he wasn't going to go back and check.

Kyungsoo watched the college boy grab six different pies and throw them into his cart. He couldn't help but to laugh at how unbelievably awkward he was. Kyungsoo was used to be hit on by guys, especially guys younger than him. Getting hit on by college boys who were too shy to even introduce themselves, though, was something he hadn't experienced just yet. But the way this golden boy acted, with his university hoodie and his mismatching shorts, made Kyungsoo feel a little soft for him. That, and he wouldn't exactly mind finding out what he hid under his shorts and hoodie. Kyungsoo laughed at himself again mainly because he was thinking about some kid's while he chose what kind of cereal he wanted. He shook the thought of the boy away from his head before he began to reach for his cereal on the tip of his toes. Kyungsoo let out a frustrated huff and leapt a little until he grabbed the corner of the box, but he slipped and grabbed for shelf to stabilize himself. Instead, what happened was that the entire self of his favorite cereal fell on top of him and Kyungsoo fell on the floor, surrounded by the ugly Tony the Tiger.

Kyungsoo let out a groan and pushed the boxes off his body before slowly getting up and rubbing his head. He looked around to see if anyone had seen, but the noise made was enough for the whole store to look at him funny and Kyungsoo felt like he was going to die from embarrassment. As if it couldn't get any worse, he saw a familiar pair of ugly shorts run up to him along with beat up sneakers. Kyungsoo groaned again.

“Oh my god, are you okay?!”

He looked up at the concern college kid that had been following him around. Kyungsoo nodded and took his extended hand as he rubbed his forehead. “Yeah...yeah. I'm okay.”

“You didn't hit your head too hard did you?”

“No, I'm fine. Promise.” Kyungsoo finally looked at the younger boy and couldn't help but to wonder how someone could be so beautifully tanned in the winter.

Jongin felt his face get warmer and warmer with the scrutiny of the smaller man in front of him. He cleared his throat and looked around to see that the people that surrounded them were now gone. Jongin looked back at the man and saw that he was still looking at him, Jongin only looked at his feet.

“Look like you don't like being watched either, huh?” The man teased, making Jongin's hand sweat.

“You saw me?”

He laughed and nodded, “I saw you staring at me when I was find vegetables and I also saw you staring at me buying a donut and I think I might've seen you stare at me to find what kind of meat I wanted.”

If Jongin was warm before, his face was definitely on fire now. “, sorry. I didn't know how else to introduce myself.”

“Coming up to me and telling me your name would've been a start, you know?”

Jongin winced, “Yeah.”

“So, are you going to keep apologizing? Or, are you going to tell me your name?”

“Jongin. My name is Jongin.”

“I'm Kyungsoo.”

The two shook hands and Jongin couldn't get over how soft Kyungsoo's hands felt compared to clammy ones. Kyungsoo only smiled at him though and then looked at the boxes of Frosted Flakes around him. “If you're not busy, I was wondering if you wanted to maybe help me pick up these boxes? In the meantime, maybe I can give you some help.”

“Help?” Jongin repeated.

Kyungsoo peered over at Jongin's cart that was full of six pies, two mangoes and then filled to the brim with pizza boxes and tv dinners. “I could probably give you some recipes because it seems to me that your diet is...questionable.”

Jongin looked at his shopping cart and laughed, “Yeah. Okay, I'll help.”
