Yuna’s pov:

It was Christmas time, when I met this girl at the store, finding a gift for my girlfriend. We accidently wanted the same last scarf at the store. We asked the shop assistant if they had more, but she just said no.

So I insisted to let that beautiful girl infront of me have it. „Listen. You have it.“

She answered „NoNoNo, you saw it first, it’s yours.“

„Please, I insist.“ Putting them back on the place.

„Well thank you then. At least can I invite you for a small coffee talk during this cold weather?“

I just shyly nod.

----At the coffee house name Serendipity----

Yuna: „This will be an okay thank you, it will work. It’s quite good coffee“

„No, but I’m serious, this is the least I can do for you.“

„Well, yeah, thank you but see, now, I have to go find something else for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift.“

„Oh, they were for you girlfriend. Well then I can’t accept them.“

„Well, you have to. Otherwise you won’t treat me like this and have a small chat.“

„The coffee is quite good, where did you find this?“

„Well, probably because of the name? Serendipity.“

„Why?“

„Because it’s such a nice word for what it means: A fortunate accident. Except for that I don’t believe in them. I think fates is behind everything.“

„A little signs, a little luck. Just like Columbus discovered America or Fleming discovered Penicilin?“

„Yeah, like that“

„Just like how I met you, beautiful attractive girl with a boyfriend. Or I think you have a boyfriend.“ Just like that she blushes

„Well, the gift is not for my boyfriend, but I have girlfriend actually.“ Just like that I screamed in happiness. I have a chance. I know I have a girlfriend, but she is something different, something more attractive.

We are leaving the coffee home and just talk about random things. She asks me what I want for Christmas and I ask her if she is going to meet her girlfriend now or nah. And she answers: „No, she is probably doing the same thing like you right now.“

„Like getting a crush on someone else’s girlfriend?“ I see she is caught off guard and to easy the situation „No, I’m sorry. I just meant to say that I had a really great time and you know, maybe you should give me your phone number, you know, just in case.“

„In case of what?“

„I just had a really great time with you and I’d never be able to find you again. So in that case.“

„Well, if we’re meant to meet again, then we’ll meet again. Just like a fate. I’m sorry, it’s just no the right time now.“

„Come on. I don’t even know your name. My name is Yuna, Yuna Kim. Does that make you to tell me something?“

„Yeah it does.“ Just like that she gives me a kiss on the cheek and my heart flutter. „Merry Christmas, Yuna. The fate will decide for us. Bye and thanks“

Just like that she leaves me speechless. Not knowing what to do. I wonder around and hoping for one day to meet her again.
