I was halfway on eating my bowl of (leftover) stir-fried rice when I heard it— the banging, the panting, the creaking, the and the grunting— from above me that it made me choke on my food and glare at the TV.

And to me (or to my utmost disgust), it was pretty obviouson what was happening, so annoyed that after all those times I wished for peace, my toerag-of-a-brother decide to break the agreement we've deviced once he started dating his lover publicly.

Didn't they tortured my innocence enough last month? And didn't Myungsoo promised to keep it down when I'm at home? Didn't they had enough revenge against me? It's not like I know a thing in the first place— in fact, I was the one who was played!

I'm so going to kill that bastard for this. Ugh!

To be very precise on my side of the story (and to clean my stained record), I have to tell you first that I— Kim Yerim, or Yeri for short— am innocent.

I am a champion— passionate, smart, diligent, amazing, friendly, witty, competitive at its finest and would win in any bets against the idiots who try to challenge me.

Sadly, it takes one Oh Sehun to kill my confidence (mockingly; that boy has a death wish, I swear) and ending up with facing a deathly revenge from my brother, Kim Myungsoo.

It all started when I sat down on my usual lunch table (six weeks and three days from now), admiring my plate of ice cream sandwich and ignoring the talks between my peers.

Everybody was loud and alive that it made my ears ring a little but I chose to ignore it, squealing to dig in to that dairy goodness that's coaxing itself to be eaten.

But then, Joy began to screech like a whale—

"Oh my, God!" she exclaimed, grabbing me and the others' attention, "Look! Someone's confessing again!"

Turning our heads to where she was pointing, we were once again surprised to see that there, in a table not so far from where my classmates were seating, stood one bashful girl offering a box of chocolates to a guy— who's quite popular amongst the female population (bull)— that I know so well.

It seemed that the tactic had gained so many on lookers that I had to surpress from rolling my eyes, already figuring out what's going to happen; even the others boys on the particular guy's table were sure of what will unfold.

"Poor girl," one of my friends said, "she's got guts, though. I'll give her that."

This time, I sighed. "They never learn."

As if on cue, we looked away from the impending doom that's about to happen and I was ready at the stares I received from them.

"Why is your brother like that, anyways?" Yeeun, the one who symphatized awhile ago, asked me after popping a grape inside . "Is the rumor true?"

Joy grumbled and defended, "Of course, not! I mean, with a guy that hot, why would he be gay? Don't be absurd, Yeeun." When the other girl nonchalantly shrugged with a sheepish grin, Joy turned to me. "You know that I've been stanning your brother and all since freshman so I know that he's not. So, can you please— please!— tell us all that you were joking about Kim Myungsoo being gay."

I rolled my eyes at her; Joy can the bestest friend there is, but her unhealthy obssession with my brother's clique was  plain creepy and unsettling. "Firstly, it can't be absurd—" Yeeun threw a wink at me and I grinned back "— and it's pretty obvious. Secondly, you should stop using the word hot and my brother's name in one sentence, it gives me ugly chills. And, thirdly, when did I ever lie to you?"

Joy looked a little offended and was about to open to reply, only stopping to close it back again, and turned to look at the scene behind us.

Apparently, Girl Confessor #52 was turned down again, leaving as dejected as the former brave admirers of my stupid brother who was slinging an arm over Sungyeol's shoulder... and laughing like a maniac that he was.

Smirking, I leaned closer to Joy and whispered, "See what I mean? He's gay."

"I beg to differ."

There was a fat pause as some of my friends glanced at the one who spoke, seeing an expressionless Oh Sehun staring straight back at me. "Excuse me?" I asked with a raised brow, my arms automatically crossing over my chest— and ice cream sandwich forgotten.

Sehun, who was across me and ignoring the warning glares from everyone in our table, simply grinned and shrugged. "I said that I beg to differ."

"I know what you said," I told him, my blood boiling a little from the way he looked smugly at me. "I'm asking what you meant by it."

He seemed to think over about his reply, having that brooding expression run across his face, before saying (with confidence), "I meant that I know that your brother isn't gay."

I couldn't help but laugh at his statement. "Excuse me? Are you implying that I'm wrong?" At the sound of my voice, almost everyone seemed to flinch and scoot back their chairs away for a few feet, ready to scatter off if I had the inkling to murder those who wanted to be killed. "Are you implying that I, Kim Myungsoo's only sister, am wrong?"

He smiled like a normal jerk would: mocking and fake. "You are, yes."

"I— uh, Sehun, I think you should stop now while yo—"

"Shut up, Taehyung! I'm not talking to you," I interrupted, glaring at the now tight-lipped friend of ours who glanced down to avoid my deathly stare. Looking at Sehun again, I grounded out, "You're pretty cocky today, doofus. It's been so long and I kind of missed it."

"Your cheerfulness is overbearing now that we're friends so..." he trailed off monotonously without ending his sentence; I immediately understood what he's trying to say.

I hummed. "You miss us being enemies, then?"

He wordlessly nodded before smirking once more.

"Great, you're the biggest moron to challenge me down so I wouldn't complain," I said, grinning at him with mischief. "And since that's obvious already, I'm guessing that our bet is about my brother— whom you're as probably gay as."

At the fire burning in his brown eyes, I couldn't help but feel triumphant. He remained a good sport and ignored my last comment, though, and replied with: "It is about him, Sherlock. And it's to prove if he's... what you think he is or not."

I eyed him for a long time, barely having enough time to see what he's looking at somewhere behind me, before turning his attention back to me. Annoyed, I jabbed, "Fine; if I win the bet— because he is gay— and you lose, you'll wear Irene's five inch heels for ten days and you're not allowed to take them off unless it's the final ring of the school bell."

Sehun didn't seem to be affected with what I said, in fact, he seemed even more relieved with it! (He even put the whole table's occupants to shock at his reluntance; he's too prideful for this.) "Fair enough," he replied without any hesitation that it made me confuse for a second, before adding, "but, if I win and
