Characters:

Kim Taeyeon (27) has known the mechanics of wealth and status since she was little. When you're born as the daughter of a mistress, and not the wife, you have no choice but to fight your way up the social ladder. In order to get her father's recognition, Taeyeon has worked herself vigorously to uphold a moral lifestyle and get the best grades. As she works her way up the company, she gets more hatred and envy from her other siblings, who refuse to acknowledge her as 'one of them.'  

Despite being the sole heiress to the Jung Group, Jessica Jung (27) rejects her wealthy background and chooses to become an independent fashion designer on her own terms. After the suicide of her older brother, Yunho, every aspect of her life has always been controlled 100% by her parents. Because of this, she has always wanted to break out of the cage that they've carefully kept her in. However, even after moving out and rejecting their money, the label of the 'Jung' family still remains stuck on her. 

Kwon Jiyong (28) has always been a disappointment to his parents. As the youngest child in the Kwon family, while his older siblings were constantly encouraged to study harder in order to work for the company, he was told to simply not cause further trouble and ruin their family's name. Because of this, Jiyong grows up to be a hopeless slacker that does nothing but fool around with girls and drink all day. He has no ambitions or dreams. But he's willing to do anything that will get his parents riled up.

Wildly ambitious and determined, Choi Seunghyun (29) has always wanted to be the one to inherit his father's company out of his brothers, despite being the middle child. Seunghyun carefully constructs a picture perfect image of himself in order to earn his father's favor and does anything he can to maintain it. For Seunghyun, marriage is just another way to get closer to his final goal of obtaining ownership of the company. He wants to pick a marriage candidate that will best benefit the company.
