Eunji wakes up feeling normal. She doesn’t feel anything different which she finds different… as today is their first anniversary as a couple yet she hasn’t heard anything about him or exo. She doesn’t have any idea if they have flied to London or not as the last time she heard about them was having a multiple event appearances.

She sighed upon seeing no message from him.

“did he forget?” she can’t help but ask as she decided to shrug it off as she got up from bed. Today, she’s got a bit of a jam pack as she’s having two photo shoots, one for a cosmetic product and one for a jeans brand.

“Eunji get ready now, we need to be early.” She can hear Chin knock from the door, most probably she already heard her alarm clock ring and she has turned it off.

“I’ll be ready in a few.” She replied as she decided to shrug off her thoughts of her boyfriend as she’s too preoccupied by her schedule for today.

Nothing’s really special on this day which makes Eunji feel sad. Yes, she may be feeling a bit off with her boyfriend this past few days as he haven’t contact her for almost two weeks though he have spared time to text her good morning and goodnight, but that’s it.

“Eunji what’s with the pout?” her makeup artist making her shrug her shoulder as she let her continue applying her makeup.

‘Too much of thinking about any surprise Eunji.’ She mentally scolds herself as she tried to shrug of her thoughts as she wanted to concentrate on the photoshoot.

And the day ended just like that. She’s now on her way back to her apartment without receiving anything. No text, no calls, no flowers or such… she must admit that a part of her is hoping for a surprise from him but she was just frustrated the whole day that he was unable to do anything for today.

Eunji slumps her body on the bed as she feels tired after two consecutive photoshoots. It’s past ten in the evening and she needs to sleep now or else Chin would scold her and tell her she’ll develop eyebags if she continues to sleep late.

“too much of expecting Jung Eunji, sleep now.” she whisper to herself though she’s still feeling bad. She received few texts from their very close friends who knows about their exact anniversary date greeting her ‘happy anniversary’ which added to her frustration for they have remembered to greet her… and he haven’t. atleast, it was good that no exo member texted her or else she could have felt worse than now.

Eunji wakes up after hearing her phone ring for a few seconds now. With close eyes, she reached for her phone as she didn’t bother to check who called as she’s sure it’s past midnight already.

“Hello?” she said in a bedroom voice but only heard a chuckle on the other line…. And she’s very sure who owns that chuckle.

“Junmyeon?!” she blurted out as she turned to her side to check her alarm clock to see it’s past one in the morning.

“Sweetheart.” He called her which made her pout as she can feel tears form. How she miss him call her that way. With just a simple word, she suddenly felt that all her frustration were gone.

“Junmyeon.” She called him back.

“Sweetheart, why don’t you get up and look around your room?” Suho suddenly said which made her brows crease. She then turned around from leaning on her side and was surprised to see her ceiling…. It was all blue…. Courtesy of the different shades of blue helium balloons floating inside her room. She turned to her side to see a life size blue bear sitting beside her pillow, on her other side was a new blue, red and green handbag and luggage case personalized with her name on it.

“Oh my gosh Junmyeon.” She whispered over the phone which made Suho laugh on the other line…. And instantly, her door opened revealing the man she’s been dreading to see for almost two weeks…. The man she misses the most, the man she loves…. Holding a phone on the other hand a huge bouquet of rare blue roses on the other hand.

“Happy anniversary sweetheart.” He greeted with his phone still on his ears. Eunji tears up as she stares at him finally ending the call and keeping his phone on his pocket. Eunji continues to stare at him as she can’t help but admire his dashing look.

He then walked towards her bed and handed her the bouquet.

“for the very special girl in my life.” Suho said as Eunji accepted the flower but she immediately put it aside as she abruptly circled her arms around his neck for a hug. Suho can’t help but smile as he ended up holding her and pulled her from her bed as he just carried her with her legs circling his hips.

“How could you not contact me for two weeks? I hate you for that! You didn’t greet me on the very special day yesterday, I waited for you the whole day… I must admit that I expected for a surprise but I didn’t received anything, even a simple text… how could you.” she rants but instead of hitting him or something, she tightened the hug making Suho laugh.

“Sweetheart, you seemed to forget something.” Suho whispered on her ears making her break the hug as she felt him bring her back to her bed. She immediately kneeled on her bed as Suho positioned her carefully.

“What are you talking about?” Eunji asked with a crease brows which made Suho chuckle.

“You might want to glance at your television screen.” Suho said which made Eunji turn to her television screen, surprise not to notice that it was earlier. A tear escaped from her eyes upon seeing what was being shown. It was a photo slideshow of their secret selfies that was stored in his and her phone. It was there past time… actually her and Suho was able to adapt it.
