chapter one  We're Monsters                "Min listen to mama very carefully, okay?" The little girl nodded as she sat on her mothers lap obediently listening to what her mother had to say. Her mother smiled looking down at her innocent child and smiled sadly. "Well you see Min you, you're..different and mommy is too. So in the near future people will want to take you." The girl tilted her head to the side unable to comprehend what she was being told. "Min, you're not human neither am I. Because of that they'll take you away." "What do you mean mommy? What are we?" Min asked as she furrowed her eyebrows. Min's mom once again smiled that sad smile as a tear rolled down her cheek. "We're monsters sweetie."      A girl lay there upon a bed she stared up at the ceiling of an unfamiliar, dark, and spacious room. Only the sound of her steady breathing and a clocks ticking could be hear. Tick tock tick tock. Minutes later footsteps could be heard, the noise progressively getting louder as the person got closer; the door opened. "Rise and shine...Alice." She sat up and the man left afterwards. She looked at the closed door "Alice huh?" She silently whispered.       Min who was now Alice stood in front of the vanity mirror examining herself, she looked different. Her hair unlike before was blonde and short, no longer the bright and vivid pink that she had originally dyed it. Her face smaller no longer as round as before. She looked down at her body which was covered in an elite looking school uniform, which had been composed of a white blouse layered with a signature school blazer, her bottoms a simple plaid red skirt, with a matching red tie completing the look. Her waist dainty and slim, the only physical trait that had stayed the same was her petite stature. She looked up from her body and met her own gaze smiling bitterly. 'Guess they found me' she whispered and walked out of the room.      Stepping out into the halls the girl looked around the empty halls. The lack of students in the building shocked her. Aimlessly she walked until she managed to stumble upon a group of student who had on the same uniform as herself. The group of boys stopped conversing with one another sensing her presence.
