Foreword
This is somewhat different from my past fics since the majority of it is occurring in an AU (alternate universe; JUST figured out what that stands for quite recently).
This was for my NaNoWriMo challenge. November is National Novel Writing Month. You can find more info about it here.
Basically, it’s a writing challenge: within these thirty days of November, you have to write a lengthy work of fiction that is at least 50,000 words long. (It can be fan fiction.) There’s no “prize” in the sense that you don’t get a material award, but it is rewarding to be able to accomplish something like that and say you wrote a novel. 8D
I did this challenge for the first time when I was in freshman year of high school in 2007 (the thing I wrote was complete crap, btw), and the years after that I was too busy to do it. This year, I finally have time again, so I shall be tackling this challenge. I don’t think it will be as hard this time as it was last time because between Risoria and Believing is Seeing, I wrote more than 50,000 words in a span of thirty days, so I know it’s doable even when I’m not pushing myself for that goal. xD The challenge, I guess, will be putting all 50,000 words in one work. Believing is Seeing was almost 48,000 words…so this new fic will have to be longer than that.
Update: Achieved the 50,000 words within the 30 days. 8D
