cha ching

 

“thanks for stopping at Oh’s Cupcakes, come again” Smiling I waved the customer off with my signature eye smile. Today was going well so far, woke up on time, fed sprinkles and every batch came out perfectly. Smiling  I made my back to the kitchen, switching places with Baekhyun, him managing the cashier while I continued to frost the cooled cupcakes. Taking the raspberry frosting I began to make a swirl around the cupcake covering the moist bread completely. Taking a fresh hand picked raspberry I gently pressed it into the frosting and set it on a tray before bringing it out to be displayed. Setting the tray down  Baekhyun took ahold of his wrist softly stopping me in my tracks.

“Neh Baekhyun-shi?” I asked fully facing him. Baekhyun was much smaller than me, barely even reaching my shoulder blades, with his soft features and eye smile it almost seems that he’s supposed to be a mother.

 

“Could you be a flower and go serve the tables for Yixing, he’s running late again” Baekhyun sighed as he clicked his tongue.

“What’s up with Yixing- shi lately” I questioned removing my kitchen apron to slip a fresh one on.

 

“All I know is that, his cousin Luhan is staying at his house and that they went drinking last night because he missed ‘family love’ time ” Baekhyun shrugged slipping two blackberry cream cheese danishes into the bag

 

“Miss family love time my frosted mini wheat ”

 

“well what do you suppose Luhan’s here for ?” he asked his voice ranging in pitch

 

“obviously to be pampered by Yixing like the pretty he is ” Sehun puffed, he hated how oblivious Yixing was to Luhan, I mean of course Luhan loved him but he loved being treated like royalty more than respecting his cousins feelings.

 

“Well if Luhan’s here for that than its not our problem, Yixing is a grown man  and if he wants to pamper the little then so be it” Baekhyun sighed “didn't I tell you to go waiter those tables” Baekhyun questioned

 

“Oh yeah, right on it Baek-shi”

 

“Aish children these days” Baekhyun said his hand on his hips. as he watched sehun waltz over to a table.\

 

“Welcome to Oh’s cupcakes were our cupcakes make you say oh, I am you waiter Sehun” I smiled. I could tell by the way his face turned red and his cheeks puffed out he was trying not to laugh……. I dont blame him the slogan is pretty lame and it made it even worse that we had to wear customized shirts that said “Did somebody say oh’s cupcakes” but hey I didn't make it my dad did so he should be laughing at him not me. Puffing my cheeks out, I looked at him only to be met with a soft smile.

 

“Your cute” the young man said as he tilted a little, a soft giggle slipping from his plump lips.

 

You will not let this get to you, you will not, I rep… oh crap. I could already feel a soft blush tickling my cheeks.

 

“Uh, hello” the stranger said snapping me out of my dazed state.

 

“ Oh. my apologies, what would you like to order ?” I questioned unintentionally squeezing my pen tighter

 

“Uh, I’ll get the, berries cream cheese delight and a cup of pomegranate tea” he nodded feeling satisfied with his order.\

 

“Would you like your beverage hot or cold” I asked as I continued to scribble down what he ordered

 

“Hot, just like you” he smiled feigning innocence as if what he just said didn't make Sehun look like a red balloon.

 

“Your order will be out shortly sir”

 

“Jongin”

 

“Excuse me”

 

“The names Jongin ”

 

“Oh, um Sehun”

 

“ do you guys  sell cutie pies”

 

“No, but I will recommend them to the baker” I said fidgeting on my feet

 

“Are you sure cause i’m looking at one right now” he smirked, lightly tapping his fingers on the table \

 

“I’ll be right back with your order Jongin” I smiled as I sped walked away back to the kitchen. Once in the confines of the the kitchen I let out a nervous laugh.

 

Aish Sehun get yourself together, I scolded as I lightly patted myself in the face

 

Sighing I went to put his order together. Making my way out of the kitchen I arrived back in front of Jongin’s table with his order.

 

“Berries cream cheese delight and a cup of pomegranate tea. Please enjoy” I said setting his pastries and drink down.

 

“Oh, I will enjoy it” he smiled.

 

“Can I get you anything else jongin” I asked

 

“Your time, my house,movie night, 8:30, don't keep me hanging baby” he smirked  his hands folded under his chin.

 

“are you asking me out on a date ” I asked flustered, once again I can feel the red flowing to my face

 

“ So is that a yes ?” he questioned full blown smirk plastering his face as he played with the straw in his drink

 

“What do you think hot shot” I laughed as I walked away back to the kitchen.

Jongin’s smirk fell a little bit till he found a note next to his napkin

 

Meet me here at 6:45 don’t be late.

 

Smiling, Jongin got up stuffing the pastries in his bag before heading to the cashier. Handing in his 5$ he slightly brushes his hand against Sehuns.

 

“See you tonight” he whispers, sending Sehun a flirtatious wink before walking away, leaving Sehun with a smile and plans of tonight.

A/N so sorry for not updateing in like almost 2-3 years, alot of stuff went on and then my computer broke so sorry about that.
