"Oppa, you know, crying till late night isn't healthy." Krystal nagged, but she knew very well that even if she screamed till  bleeds, Myungsoo would never be able to hear her.

Krystal could hug him, touch him, and hold his hand. But no matter what skinship she’d try to do, he won’t feel anything

“Oppa please stop being like this. Be your happy self again” She said as she hugged him from behind. When she was still alive, whenever they embrace, she’d be able to feel his warm body, the heat of his love. But now, she can hug him still, yet none of them would be able to feel any neither warmth nor softness. Myungsoo would sense nothing while Krystal would feel as if she just hugged a wall

Myungsoo was on his study desk, books were infront of him, he was trying to do his homework but he couldn’t concentrate. Myungsoo stared at the picture frame infront of him. The picture, it was a stolen shot of them, it was taken weeks before he confessed to her

The ground had snow all around, they were wearing scarves and coats. Winter. In the photo, Krystal had her fullest smile, they were laughing, while Myungsoo had his gaze focused on the younger girl, his eyes told everything he felt towards her and there was a small smile painted on his lips

“If you were here, Science, English and Sociology would have been so easy.” Myungsoo spoke as a tear escaped hi s eye again. He did try moving on, but Myungsoo and Krystal did a lot of things together. Too many things that reminded him of her. “Those were your favorite subjects right? I remember you helping me with those lots of times. “His voice was terribly shaking, more tears started falling. “If I… I should’ve walked you home that day” Myungsoo said, this was the part Krystal hated the most

Myungsoo had been blaming himself for her tragic lost. “It wasn’t your fault you idiot! I wasn’t looking at where I was going. So I didn’t see the car coming”

By now Myungsoo had broken down into hysterical sobs, like he did most of the time.

“You should still be alive and with me!” He wiped his desk clean. Books and notebooks flying off and making a mess on his room’s floor

“Nobody blames you, you dimwit!” Krystal wanted to whack him. It was painful seeing him that way “Mom and Dad never blamed you! I never blamed you! So stop being so hard on yourself!” At times like these, Krystal wished that he could hear her. “Stop it Kim Myungsoo” She whispered as she watched him tear the place down. It was the only thing she could do after all.

“[I was sitting on my bed,thinking about you it’s okay if i can’t see you this feeling of missing you is just enough for now]”Krystal sang as she his hair, Myungsoo had finally gone to sleep “[the vivid memory of yours still remains. the short message of yours is causing heart-rending feeling and tightening my chest, but I want to continue to watch over your everlasting happiness]” She continued, tear marks were visible on his face. “Wasurenaide~”

It was one of Myungsoo’s favorite songs. Wasurenaide by DBSK, he was was a huge DBSK fanboy. That song was the one he often said that he would dedicate to her if she leaves him. He’ll be serenading it to Krystal over and over until she comes back to him again. Funny, the song is as almost perfect description of both their feelings and situation.

“Yah! Jung SooJung!” A guy called out

“Illwoo oppa!” Krytsal stood up and greeted her scheduler

“Aish this punk! Have you forgotten about your mission? We only gave you half a year to do it, you’ve wasted a whole month already” Illwoo scolded her. Krystal remained silent not bothering to have eye contact with the older guy. Taking pity, Illwoo sighed “the boss will be sending someone to help you” Krystal looked up almost smiling “Yah! Don’t look at me like that!”

But it was your idea right? To send someone to help me” Krystal beamed. Illwoo kept on his irritated face, he wasn’t the type to show affection, but Krystal knew he was responsible for the good news. Illwoo had been taking care of her and helping her since she was too young in doing this on her own

“It’s not my fault you died young” He muttered under his breath

“I know” Krystal gave him a small smile. Illwoo maybe harsh on his words but he was honest, as he would often say ‘only humans lie’

“You heard that?” he panicked. Krystal let out a chuckle

“Ofcourse!” She smiled at him “This girl has bat ears!” she has accepted that she is dead, a long time ago, maybe days after the incident. “So when does help arrive?” Krystal asked as Illwoo just raised a brow at her

“I don’t know! Just wait for it!” and with that, Illwoo disappeared. Krystal gave a deep sigh. She liked it when the scheduler was there. At least she had someone to talk to, someone who can see and hear her.

Krystal walked back and sat on the end of Myungsoo’s bed. She looked at his face, it seemed restless. It always seemed lonely, then she remembered the punishment if she wasn’t able to finish her task… She shivered at the thought.

“Kim Myungsoo, I will never let them take you. I will never let them make you lonely”
