Not Without You

Taehyung's favorite place to be by far is on Namjoon's lap. Taehyung always knew Namjoon would protect him not matter what. It was the feeling of security Taehyung loved. But Taehyung desperately needed this feeling at night when the sun was gone and he was now surrounded by silent darkness and soft snores from the other. It's not that Taehyung didn't feel secure with the others, it's that Taehyung felt the most secure with Namjoon.

Namjoon's eyes were absolutely tired of the blazing bright computer screen. He sat alone in the still silence of the night. The only thing brightening the room is the computer screen. Namjoon so desperately wanted to call it a night but he didn't. What he was working on was way more important anyway. Quietly Namjoon continues to work. 

Then out of nowhere, there's knock on the door. Namjoon's heart races quickly, he feels as if his heart were going to break out his chest. "Hyung?" a familiar voice calls out. Namjoon takes a deep breath of relief. He knew that voice better then most people, it was Taehyung.

"Dear god Taehyung you almost gave me a heart attack, why aren't in bed sleeping?" Namjoon huffed as his locked onto the younger. Taehyung moves towards Namjoon and sits on his lap. His back turned away from the bright computer screen. Taehyung smuggled Namjoon's chest. Namjoon waits for a reply, in the mean time he's adjusting Taehyung's legs so he doesn't all off. 

"I'm...scared," Taehyung finally says as he yawns like a small puppy. Namjoon looks at Taehyung who's practically about fall asleep on him. "Why are you scared? There's nothing to be afraid of." Namjoon assures. Taehyung doesn't say anything, instead he feels his eyes being ready to close and sleep. 

"Namjoon..hyung makes me feel protected..." Taehyung says as more yawns escaped his mouth. "I don't wanna sleep without you." Taehyung mumble as his eyelids become heavy. Namjoon doesn't say anything else. He lets Taehyung fall asleep on him. 

It's about five o'clock in the morning when Namjoon takes Taehyung back to the dorm. Taehyung sure was heavy but Namjoon bared with it. He tucks Taehyung back into his bed and decides to sleep with the younger one. 

Taehyung wakes up the next morning in Namjoon's arms and he couldn't have it any other way.
