Disclaimer: Nothing here belongs to me except for the story and its plot.
"Yet He had commanded the clouds above, and opened the doors of heaven, had rained down manna on them to eat, and given them of the bread of heaven. Men ate angels' food; He sent them food to the full" (Psalm 78:23-25).
Children, by nature, are inquisitive.
‘Why is it raining?’
‘Where did you put the spare key?’
‘Why does death exist?’
Every day, billions of questions are being asked.
‘It must be the angels weeping again.’
‘Under the bougainvillea pot.’
‘Because death makes life worth living.’
Every day, billions of answers are being provided.
Some might be wrong. Some might be right. Some might be ambiguous.
But with the plethora of questions that you can ask, have you ever wondered: What do the angels eat?
No, most probably not. Why ask query to such a trivial question, you may say. Do angels even exist, you might add.
But what do angels really eat?
The answer is simple, they eat manna.
Perhaps you’ll ask again: Where do manna came from?
I don’t know, most would instantly say. They came from the sap of a tamarisk tree, some people might answer. They came from a species of mushrooms, yet other people would answer. These answers though are incorrect.
Manna came from dreams.
