Total Confessions and Awkward Revelations
RainbowYifan was absolutely sure that they had no schedules that night. After the successful debut of their first album, ‘MAMA’, sure they were busy almost always, with practices and interviews and concerts, but this was one night, they were free and possibly the only night. So where was Yixing?
Yifan was sharing his room with Jongdae and he was sure if Jongdae jumped on his bed and said ‘so bouncy’ again he would jump off the balcony.
“Hyung?” Jongdae said when he noticed Yifan’s completely blank expression. “What’s wrong?”
“Oh. Nothing. I was just wondering, where’s Yixing, I asked Tao he’s not in his room?”
“Hyung is on the terrace” Jongdae said.
“Terrace?”
“Yup!” Jongdae said standing up and walking to the mini refrigerator.
“Oh, um…I’m going to, uh, check up on him.” Yifan said as he walked towards the door.
“OH MY GOD!” Jongdae explained which startled Yifan. “THEY HAVE FOOD IN HERE! GOOD FOOD!”
Yifan waved off Jongdae’s comment and got out of their room. It was their first time in Beijing and probably the first time they were accommodated in a seven star hotel.
Yixing and Yifan never talked about that night again. They did talk. If talk included ‘please pass me the mike’ and ‘you should talk more in interviews’.
The lift opened to the terrace and Yifan looked at the ‘no guests allowed’ sign on the door. But he knew Yixing was not one to follow anyway as he was the one who’d change rooms in the dorm all the time just to feel comfortable.
He opened the door to find Yixing standing over the ledge of the terrace.
“Hey.” Yifan said, lips trembling. He knew he had to talk to him. Because he wasn’t going to wait for them to go back and Luna to ask him out.
